While driving Myungsoo's mind was working. He was thinking of ways on how to make Jiyeon agree on what he wanted to happen, that is, for them get married as soon as possible.

Actually he didn't told Jiyeon about the real reason why he wanted to marry him. Yes he didn't want his baby to grew up as a bastard, but that was just secondary. The real reason is he didn't want to be away from her.

After two months of fighting his own feelings he gave up, finally. In that two months he was convincing himself that Jiyeon was like the other girl's that he dated and bedded before, but no anymore.

There was no time that she didn't came into his mind. He forced himself to forget her by dating other girls, but she was one of a kind, so different from them. Sometimes he couldn't help but to compare the women he was dating to her. Not as pretty as Jiyeon, not as y as Jiyeon, not as witty as Jiyeon, not as outspoken as Jiyeon...

That was why he came back. He let his half brother Jaeho handle their company branch in Jeju and also their citrus farm, and he decided to come back to Seoul and help their father here. It was like hitting two birds with one stone, as they say. He could help his father, he could be near his woman.

The truth is until now he was still undecided with his true feelings with Jiyeon. He couldn't say that he was in love with her because he haven't experience falling in love, he didn't know if it was really love that he was feeling right now. But whatever it was, he decided to learn what it was and see where it would take them.

And now that he learned that the passionate night they shared resulted into her getting pregnant, Myungsoo's determination grew stronger to not let his woman get away from him anymore. Yes she didn't want them to be married now, but he made a promised to himself that they would get married before she gave birth to their baby. He was ready to do everything just to make Jiyeon agree to what he wanted to happen.

His thoughts got cut off when they've reached the Samsung Medical Center. Even inside the examination he didn't leave Jiyeon alone, not minding the deep frown of her from being so annoyed.

"Morning sickness is just normal," explained Dr. Seo Inyeong. "Actually, some even experience nausea throughout the day."

"So you're saying that there's nothing to worry?" Myungsoo ask again.

"Yes. Eating soda crackers will to make your nausea go away in an instant. And proper diet, of course. Avoid caffeine, eat plenty of fruits and vegetables, and don't forget to take your vitamins." the doctor's long advice.

"Excuse me, Doc," Jiyeon butted in. "could you please tell him that it is bad to annoy a pregnant woman most of the time." Like a little kid looking for an ally.

Dr. Seo smiled. The truth is she had been wanting to laugh with this two infront of her. The two had been fighting like a child since the start of the consultation. Both like the opposite. Always not meeting the expectation of one another.

"Kim Myungsoo ssi, anger causes stress, and we don't want that to happen to your... to Jiyeon ssi." Dr. Seo got confused for a while on how to address the woman. The man didn't explain if he was related to the he was with.

He gritted his teeth. He just let it for now because for sure they would just have a long argue about it.

They made a new appointment after a month then the two of them bid goodbye to the doctor then went out. Myungsoo was wondering why Jiyeon didn't pushed him away from her when he put his arms on her shoulders so he was frowning as he looked at her.

"Why are smiling?" he ask curiously. "Something funny?"

Still smiling, Jiyeon slapped his side jokingly. "Nothing. It's just nice to know that everything's perfectly fine and that I'll be a mother soon." she answer.

"Wife and Mother." he reminded.

She halted her steps for a while. "Myungsoo--"

"Later, Sweetheart. We'll discuss this later. I just want to get you home for now so you could rest." he cut her off instantly.

She couldn't do anything more but to just shrugged her shoulders.

'Yeah, we'll discuss this later.'

"Now, Honey," Myungsoo turns to his side where she seating when they got inside the car. "do you want to tell me now where you live, or would you rather I bring you home with me?"

"I don't think so," she quickly disagree and gave him her address. "Better yet, I can just drop you off to the office so you could go home alone."

He didn't answer. He just threw her glare and started the car.

Jiyeon's left eyebrow rose up with what he did. When he continue to keep his mouth shut while gritting his teeth and driving, she just went into silent mode too and stared outside the window.

Jiyeon stirred from her sleep with the feeling that she was being swayed. Feeling so safe with the muscular arms carrying her. A small smile curved her lips when she took a sniff of his fragrant aftershave of whoever it is that was carrying her. Still with her eyes shut close, she embrace the man and rest her head on the crook of his neck.

But her eyes suddenly flutter open when she felt a warm lips peck the tip of her nose.

"What the--" she shook her head to wake herself up. "Myung! Why are you carrying me? Put me down!" she ordered when she saw that he was carrying her.

"Relax, Sweetheart."
