CHAPTER 1

In an orphanage,1997
This is a place for the children who were born without parents, who were abandoned by their own parents or relatives because of poverty, lack of love in their "real" family. Now, they would have another family although it's not the "real" onebut it will be the "true" one. This orphanage wasn't different from others, it had the women who were willing to love them as "mothers". However they couldn't do it fully because of many reasons, the main reason was there were many children for them to take care of. 
In the same day, same month and same year, there were 16 children came to this place with many reasons. 4 were homeless, 3 were abused by their parents, 1 whose parents were dead, 3 were not cared by the parents so they were forced to be taken away, 3 were abandoned because of poverty, 2 were moved from another orphanage.
They were arranged to live in the same room. At that time they were just little children and tried hard to adapt to the new life. The first night was a "nightmare" to all of them.
In the room
- Hu Hu Hu ….
- Hic Hic Hic….
There were so many crying and sobbing sounds in the room, which made the others sleepless.
- Yah, can you stop crying, huh? You cry then your parents will come here and take you home, huh? Idiot! _ A girl lying in the bed and shouted at the criers. Her name is Taeyeon, who were abandoned by her parents. They took her to a park, and let her there, so she hated them so much.
- Yah, you don't need to shout at them like that, you know? They are younger than us. You made them scared. _   Another girl trying to comfort the two youngest children. She is Eunjung, whose parents died in a car accident. The youngest children are Jiyeon and Areum, who was 4 and 3 years old expectedly at that time. Both of them have been orphans since they were born.
