Dongyun walked out of his room as he sighed as he was starting his first full day at the cafe. He sighed as he took a shower just drying his hair as he heard his coffee machine going off. He walked into the ktichen just pouring the coffee into a travel mug and a regular mug as he walked back into his room to get ready for the day. He got dressed just placing a pair of fake glasses on his face as he grabbed a jacket out of his closet just throwing it on. He placed his mug into the sink as he grabbed his travel mug. He walked to the door just having his phone and wallet in his pocket as he slipped on his shoes as he headed out. He walked down the street just sipping on his coffee as he walked up to the cafe just seeing Kyulkyu just getting there and unlocking the door. "Morning." He said as she turned around just jumpping a little. Dongyun smirked a little. "Sorry, did I scare you?" He asked 

Kyulkyu sighed as she opened up the door. "A little." She answered as she walked inside just letting him in. Kyulkyu turned the lights on to the cafe just locking the door behind them. She looked at Dongyun as he was waiting to be told what to do. "Oh, well uhm. Your locker is back here. You can put your stuff here then we need to sweep and mop the floor and clean the tables while the machines run fresh dough." She said as he nodded. She showed him where his locker was as she was already mixing batches of dough. 

"Do you want help with this or should I start sweeping?" He asked

"You can start sweeping. I'll be okay back here." Kyulkyu said as she looked up from her mixing bowl

"Okay." He said as he grabbed the broom just starting to sweep up the main floor of the cafe. He would looked back every couple seconds as she was turning on machines as she was checking finished ones in the fridges. He finished sweeping as he put the broom back. 

"I can mop since you swept. Snice you seem to know a lot about tea and coffee then you can prep that if you want and be in charge of that if you wish." She said

"Okay, I can do that." He said as he walked to the front with her as she was mopping and he was cleaning the coffee machines. He watched as she was going over the floor with another mop mat as to dry the floor. 

"I'll be in the back working some fillings and filling rice cakes and decorting." She said as he nodded. 

"Alright, I'll be up here. Yell if you need me." Dongyun said as he watched her walk back. He got two coffee pots going one a dark roast and one a light roast. He also got a few tea leave mixtures brewing as he was cleaning some menus as he peeked into the back just seeing Kyulkyu piping a tray of rice cakes with different fillings. Dongyun walked into the back as Kyulkyu was finishing up a tray. "Is it okay to open up the cafe?" He asked "I can put these fresh ones in the display case." He added 

"Oh my gosh, what time is it? Oh gosh, ten minutes. I must have gotten lost in the cakes. Uh, yes please. These are rose petal cakes, blueberry, traditional, and these are vanilla bean." She said as pointed them out as she looked at him. 

Dongyun put his hands on her shoulders. "Breathe, it is okay. I'll go put these up, you finish the rest and I'll open up the cafe." He said as she nodded. He picked up the tray as he put up the rice cakes just then unlocking the doors. "Hello. Welcome, come on in. Please seat yourselfs and I'll be right here with menus." Dongyun said as he walked into the back just placing the empty tray down just walking back to the front as he grabbed a stack of menus just handing them out to the tables. He theri orders as he put them up the order board just starting on the drinks. 

"What do you need me to work on? My dad booted me up here. He said from now on once he gets here then I am suppose to help you up here until he rings me to fill or decorate more cakes." Kyulkyu said as she put away the rest of the cakes. She watched as Dongyun pointed to some orders as she got some plates just starting to put rice cakes on them according to their orders.

Hojung was up in the attice just reading as she looked at her phone as Wootak had texed her that he was going to the cafe then heading over to the barn wiht Younghee and Jun to practice their powers. She texted him an okay as she would head to the cafe soon. She put down her book as she hurried down stairs just getting out of her pajammas just throwing her hair up into a high pony tail as she walked down stairs just putting on her sneakers and jacket just locking up the house as her granny never locks the house up as she headed to the cafe. She walked up to the cafe as Wootak and them were waiting outside. "Why have you guys not gone inside?" Hojung asked 

"Ruiho is getting us a table. The cafe has gotten popular from Dongyun's twitter and instagram posts. I mean look at these little videos of Kyulkyu decorating and barista shots. Our little high school hangout is these tourist attraction." Younghee said as she showed them the cafe's new twitter and intsagram. 

Ruiho leaned out the door as he waved them in. "Kyul got us a table." He said as he walked back thier table as Dongyun was placing mugs of tea or coffee. "I put in some orders too." He said as he sat down next to Hojung. 

"Sorry for the wait." Kyulkyu said as she set down some rice cakes. 

"It is okay. How is your shoulder?" Hojung asked 

"My shoulder is good. Hollar if you need something." Kyulkyu said as she walked to another table just pouring them some more tea. She walked back to the counter as she was handing out the take out orders just ringing people up as Dongyun was handing people their coffee. 

Hojung turned to the others as Yeseul hurried and slid into teh booth next to her. Hojung looked at her as she looked upset or worried. "What is wrong?" She asked as she waved over Kyulkyu who walked over. "Do you want something to drink?" She asked Yeseul. 

"Just a mug of tea with honey." Yeseul said as she looked at Kyulkyu as she nodded. She looked at the group as she sighed. "One of my cilents was put in the hospital by a monster. I had to admit her late last night. I got a call last night and drove out there to see her tell me that she was attacked by some monster. I think this is a witchy thing." Yeseul leaned in as she nodded at them. "Thanks." She looked at Dongyun as he set down a mug infront of her. "She said that she only surrived because her dog bit the person. I took picture of her injuries. It almost lookes like claws and talons." Yeseul said as she looked at them. 

"There should be something in the book about this." Hojung said as she looked at Yesseul. "We can go check on it when we are done here and the others can go pratice their powers." Hojung said as she looked at them. 

"I can't come along today. I have to take my dad to a doctor's appoiment." Jun said as he looked at them. 

"It  is okay. Just come by when you get done if you have time." Ruiho said as he patted his shoulder. 

Jun nodded as he grabbed another rice cake as he got up. "See you guys later." He said as he walked out of the cafe. 

"Come on, Yeseul. Lets go find that creature." Hojung said as she gulpped down her drink as Yeseul sighed. "Oh right you just got your drink. Okay well just meet me at my place." Hojung said as she looked at Ruiho who was stuffing another rice cake in his mouth. "Are you coming with me or staying here?" She asked 

"Why do you need me? Are you afraid to be by yourself, crybaby." Ruiho said with a stuffed mouth. 

"I hope you choke on that." Hojung walked off as she crossed her arms. 

Ruiho sighed as he grabbed a couple more off the plate as he followed after Hojung. He placed down a couple bills on the table to cover their half as he caught up with Hojung. "You owe me ten bucks. What did you forget your wallet?" He asked as he walked next to Hojung. 

"No, of course not. I wouldn't do that to you guys." Hojung looked at him as he gave her a look. "Okay, I did. I didn't leave it in this jacket, I guess." Hojung said as she walked next to him. "Anyway what do you think that the monster that we are going to be going up against is?" Hojung asked as she looked at him. 

Ruiho shook his head as he looked at her. "I am too sure. She said that the wounds looked like talons, so I am thinking maybe a bird?" He asked

"Yeah that could be possibility." She said as they walked.

Back in the cafe, Dongyun walked around the cafe just serving others as he walked past a table a full times just getting a werid vibe from it. He honed in on the tables thought as he walked over to the others just sliding them a peice of paper saying that table had demon and another creature there. "I am not too sure, but I sure by their thoughts." He leaned down as he was picking up their dishes. He walked back over to Kyuilkyu as he put the dishes in the sink. "Table four has a demon and a creature." He said as he cleaned out a coffee pot. 

"Did you tell the others?" She asked 

"Yeah, they are going to work on it. We just have to watch them." He said as he looked at her. 

Back at the table, Yeseul got up as she nodded. "Okay, I will look for them too in the book. I'll let you guys know if I find anything." She said as she got up and left. 

"Okay." Younghee said as she looked over to the table. She sipped on her tea as she looked at Wootak. "We could stay here and watch them and if they leave then follow them." Younghee said as he nodded. Younghee watched as the pair at the table got their check and then left. She and Wootake split up the pay for the rest as they left just following the couple slowly after them. They got on the bus as she texted Yeseul that they were on the move. She looked at Wootak as she sighed. "Maybe it wasn't smart for us to go after them with only me having reall an active power." Younghee said as Wootak shrugged. 

"We will be fine. I have been working on another power. I found out that I can control electricity after blowing the fuse box at home." He said as Younghee nodded. He walked next to her as he could still see the pair that they were following. He stopped as he pulled Younghee back. "I think that they might have made us. Lets go in here." Wootak said as he pulled Younghee by the hand just entering a store just looking around. They left after about ten minutes just walking the direction that they pair went as they walked next to each other. 

"What do you think that they are?" Younghee asked as she looked at him. 

"I am not too sure. I think that they went down this way." Wootak said as they turned down an alleyway as they both dodged a claw. He stood up as he sent out a bolt of lightning as he sighed. "Text them and see they have found a spell yet!" Wootak said as he hit the other demon just vanquishing it 

Younghee sighed as she pushed her palm forward just sending the other into the wall as she looked at her phone. "They said that there needs to be three of us there to vanquish it. Lets go while it or she is knocked out." Younghee said as she ran off with him just going back to the bus stop. They got on the bus just going back home. They headed to Hojung's just heading upstairs as they walked into the attic. 

"Hey, did you guys get hurt?" Hojung asked 

"No, we knocked her out before she could hurt us." Wootak said as he looked at her. "What are we dealing with?" He asked 

"They are called harpies. There is a spell in here to vanquish them, but there has to be atleast three of us." Ruiho said as he looked at them. "I am worried about Jun being by himself. I texted him to stay with his dad and in a big crowds until some us could get there." Ruiho said as he handed each of them a peice of paper with the spell on it. "I think one of us should stay at the cafe." He added as he looked at them. 

"I can do that. I could use some more tea and food." Yeseul said as she yawned. "Plus I could use a nap too." She said as she got up. She headed out with the others as she walked to the cafe. She grabbed a bar stool as she got a cup of tea and plate of cakes as she looked at Kyulkyj. "The others are going after the harpie." Yeseul said with a nod.

Jun looked at his phone as he was sitting next to his father. They were waiting for to go back into the office. He finally heard their name as he stood up just helping his dad back to the examination room. They finished the appoiment just going to a place to eat. He texted Ruiho where they were as he got a text back that Younghee would be joining them. He texted that was okay as he sat down across from his dad as he could see Younghee. "Dad, my friend Younghee is going to join us for lunch." He said as Younghee walked over. 

"Hello, I am Younghee. It is nice to see you again." Younghee said as she sat down next to Jun just handing a spell sheet under the table just in case."I am sorry for like just imposing on your lunch but Jun said it was okay." She said as Jun's dad shook his head. 

"It is nice to see Junnie having more friends than the guy he screams at on the tv." His dad said

"His name is Ruiho. You've meet him and Younghee before dad." Jun said as he looked at him. "We haven't order. We just got here." Jun said as he called someone over. He ordered for them as he turned to Younghee. "I heard you and Wootak had a run in today. You two okay?" He asked as she nodded. 

"Yeah, it was nothing. Turned out to be a bird that is all." She said as she sipped on her water. She sat up staright just checking her phone as the others had found them yet. She just texted that they were okay and to keep searching. She turned back to the other two. 

"It is good that it was just a bird." Jun's father said as he nodded. "You never know what is around the city now and back home. There was a report on thes news this morning about a girl getting attacked by a killer hawk or something." He added 

"Yeah, I heard about that too. I am sure someone will do something about it soon." Younghee said as she nodded to him as their food came to their table. "Thank you again for letting me eat lunch with you two." Younghee added 

"Of course, now eat up. You are so small like Junnie. You young kids never eat enough." Jun's dad said as he put some meat in both of their rice bowls just starting to eat himself.

Hojung sighed as she looked around just walking down the street. "This is where they left that harpie girl the they knocked out." She said as she walked down into the alley way as she looked around. "I mean it shouldn't be that hard to find her, right?" She added as she turned around just being hit straight in the face by said girl. She was also kicked back just knocking into Wootak who caught her was Ruiho threw a fire ball at her. "Get ready to say the spell." Hojung coughed as she hurried and got up from off of Wootak. 

Ruiho tossed another fire ball as they were gettind their spells out. "Claws of pain, we have to sever. Demon, you are gone forever." They chanted together as the harpie was vanquished. "Awesome, I'll text the others." He said as he texted Jun, Yeseul, Younghee, Dongyun, and Kyulkyu. He looked at Hojung as she was holding her nose. "I don't think that it is broken." Ruiho said as he moved her nose around. "Just bruise." He walked with as they left the alley way. 

"Well it hurts so much. Can we go buy a ice pack?" Hojung asked 

"Yes, can we go buy one." Wootak said as he looked at Ruiho. "The pain is a lot worse than she is putting off." He said as Hojung glared at him. "Just accpect it. I can feel what you guys feel." Wootak said as they walked to a conveint store. He found an ice pack just paying for it and cracking it to make it cold as he handed it to Hojung. They started for the bus stop as they were just ready to head home.

Back at the cafe, male (Ji Iljoo - actor) walked in just sitting down at a table just looking around. He watched as Kyulkyu walked over just setting down some menus as he gave her a half smile. He looked over the menu as he ordered just as Kyulkyu walked back over. "Hi again, what can I get for you?" She asked as she was told what he wanted as she walked to the back as she started on it. She placed the rice cakes on a plate as she set them on tray as she walked over just placing them on his table. As she was setting his plates on the table, she watched her dad set a help watned sign in the front. "Please enjoy." Kyulkyu said, hurriedly as she walked into the back. "Dad, why did you put that up?" She asked 

"Well, Dongyun and you can't over work yourselves. The shop is finally picking up. If we get some part timers then you and Dongyun do not have to work as much. You can finally work on your art more" Her father said as he handed her a stack of freshly printed off applications. 

"Okay." Kyulkyu said as she walked back out just setting the applications in a clear pocket holder where they usually put their menus just walking over to Dongyun as she grabbed a tea pot just walking over to the table. "Sorry about the wait." Kyulkyu said as she looked at guy. 

"It is okay. Can i grab one of those applications?" He asked 

"Yes, I can get you one." She said She walked over to where they were just grabbing one then walking back over to him. "Here, do you need a pen?" She asked as she set one down. "Sorry the ink is purple." She said 

"Purple is nice color." He answered as he watched her pick up the tea pot. 

"When you are finished you just bring it to the front or hand it to me or Dongyun." Kyulkyu said as she walked off. She walked over to Yeseul who was working on her laptop at the bar. "Do you want another cup of tea?' She asked 

"Are you going to charge me another two-fifty?" She asked as she laughed. "Just water is okay." She said as she looked at her phone just seeing that the others had killed the demon. "They vanquished the demon." She said as she looked at Kyulkyu and Dongyun as they both nodded. 

"That is good that we got that done with. I hope none of their followers come after us." Dongyun said as he looked at Kyulkyu. "And who is that guy that keeps looking at you plus you gave him a application. What if he is demon?" Dongyun said as Yeseul just leaned on her elbow and watched them. 

"Well we will just vanquish him." Kyulkyu said as she was cleaing some mugs. "I mean like i told we have no say. If my dad likes them then they will be hired." She said as she looked them. 

Yeseul watched Dongyun walk off to the back just shaking his head as she looked at Kyulkyu. "Yullie, you wouldn't mind if mister mystery man started working here? I mean I wouldn't but you know." She said as Kyulkyu shurgged. Yeseul watched her face as she reached up and playfull hit her shoulder. "I knew it." Yeseul as Kyulkyu gave her a look. 

"Shut up." Kyulkyu said as she looked at her. "If you think he is so cute then you go talk to him." She said as she looked at her. 

"Who are you two talking about?" Ruiho walked up with Hojung. "Do you guys have a first aid kit?" He asked as he had an arm around her shoulders. 

"That guy at table five." Yeseul said as she watched Kyulkyu walk back with Hojung and Ruiho. She watched Ruiho come back out as he sat down next to Yeseul. "What happened?" She asked 

"Hojung got smacked in the face by the harpie." Ruiho said 

"You didn't think to give her first aid right then?" Yeseul asked 

"Well it wasn't bleeding then and now it is." Ruiho said as Hojung walked back out. "What your nose looks all brand new?" He said as he looked at her. 

"Yeah that is because Kyulkyu healed it. She can heal." Hojung said as she looked at them. 

"What? She can heal, orb, and do that orby telekinesis thing?" Ruiho said as he crossed his arms. "Not fair." He said as he watched Kyulkyu walk over. 

"Do you want something to drink?" Kyulkyu asked Ruiho. "Not alcohol either." She said 

"Yeah, just some water." He said as he took the glass. "Now back to the cute dude like he is actually real or some cartoon?" He asked as Yeseul peeked back at the table. "Oh real, nice. Finally got scaredy kat into real men." Ruiho said as Kyulkyu glared at him. 

"Water." Kyulkyu said as she flicked her hand up as Ruiho was drinking just getting water all over himself. 

"Kyul!" Ruiho snapped as he glared at her. He grabbed some nampkins as he sighed. "I am just teasing you. You're like Hojung but you don't cry." Ruiho said as he punched in the arm. 

"I am standing right here, you big ." Hojung said as she glared at him. 

"Oh grow up." Ruiho rolled his eyes. "I am going to go home and change I guess." He left as his chair was stolen by Hojung as she looked at the menu.

"Can I get some strawberry rice cakes and some tea." Hojung said as she looked Kyulkyu. "Oh hey your cute friend is leaving too." Hojung dodged a towel as she watched Dongyun go and clean up his table. 

Outside of the cafe, Iljoo walked around where he wouldn't be seen just orbing out in a light icy blue orbs. Back in the cafe, Dongyun was cleaning up his table as he walked the application over to Kyulkyu's father in the back. "Here is an aplication someone left." He said as he walked back to front just placing the dishes in the sink as he started cleaning them. "I gave your dad the application." He said as he looked at Kyulkyu. 

"You couldn't have just lost it or soemthing?" Kyulkyu said as she looked at him

"And lose another pretty face around here?" Yeseul said as she stole a rice cake off of Hojung's plate. 

"You owe me fifty cents for that." Hojung mention as she nodded in agreement. "I am saying on the witch side, you two have powers that could really help in the future and having more workers can have you help us out." Hojung said as she munched on a rice cake. "Plus I mean having two good looking people to help isn't so bad." She added 

"Oh so you think I am good looking?" Dongyun asked from the sink. 

"No more like you're just full of yourself. Kyulkyu and mystery man." Hojung said as Dongyun gave her a look. 

"Whatever, I am so much handsome that guy." Dongyun said as he looked at trio of girls. "I bet he wasn't a inspiration for a manhwa character." He added 

"And you were?" Yeseul asked as she looked at him. 

"Of course, I was. Kyulkyu told me that I was main influence for one of her characters in her stories that she did in highschool. I am a main character and that guy is just snack or something." Dongyun said 

"Oh well you know, snacks can sometimes turn out to be main courses if we don't want the main course." Hojung told him 

"I haven't meet any lady or fella that wouldn't want this as their main course, so eat it Hojung." Dongyun carried off a stack of dried plates to go put them away. 

"What do you think, red cheeks?" Hojung looked at Kyulkyu who looked up from her stack of menus. 

"My cheeks aren't red. I am probably just hot, okay?" Kyulkyu looked at them. "And I have no comment." Kyulkyu put away the menus as the other two girls shook their heads. 

"We really need to some how get rid of those giant body pillows and littel plushies she has then maybe she will finally have to get a real man with real male parts." Yeseul told Hojung as she nodded. Yeseul packed up her things as she slung her bag over her shoulder. She put some money down for her tab as she waved to them. "Well I am heading home to go take a nap, see you guys later." She said as she left. 

Hojung turned to Kyullkyu as she sipped on her glass of tea. "Have you thought about teaming up with us?" She asked as she leaned on her elbow. "I mean you have the skills and powers. You seem to be doing pretty well at two of them." Hojung said 

Kyulkyu sighed as she looked at Hojung. "Hojung. You know that I did not want this. I am just tyring to live with myself being like this. The only people I am allowed to talk about this stuff is you guys. I can't even tell my parents about why my shoulder was hurt. I had to hide it which was very hard." She looked at the other. 

"Did you think any of us wanted this? I am the idiot that got us into this mess and how many times do I have to say it I am sorry." Hojung said as she looked at her. "You have already helped us by healing me. Just please help us, eveyrone wants you to be with us, right Dongyun?" She looked at him. 

"Definitely, all of us miss you around." He said as he leaned on a display case. "You are a master at memory and drawing. You have a ton of skills that non of us have. Don't worry about the scary stuff that is what us guys are here for." He added as he crossed his arms. 

"Alright, fine. I am in, but if I die then I am haunting you guys for the rest of your lives!" Kyullkyu said as she looked at them. 

"Oh yeah, I haven't told you about the angel part." Hojung said as she looked at her. "But if I tell you this, then you can't back out." Hojung said as the other nodded. "Well you know that picture of you that I took of you where you were dressed up as an angel for a play?" Hojung asked as she nodded 

"What about it?" Kyulkyu asked 

"Well that is what the ritual based your powers off of and turned you into this hybrid angel-witch is what most of us are guessing." Hojung said as she was smacked in the forehead. "Okay, I deserved that." She said as she rubbed her forehead. 

"Everyone esle knew before me?" She asked as she glared at Dongyun. "Well I can't be mad about it or whatever. Just you should have told me before them. It was about me and I didn't know about it. Is there anything esle I should know?" Kyulkyu asked 

"Well from what the books says you are a type of guardian angel to witches and you're already dead - but I don't think you are! Oh and the only thing that can really kill you all the way is a darklighter's posion." Hojung said with a nod. 

"A darklighter?" Dongyun asked 

"Yeah, an evil verison of what Kyul is." Hojung said "Their goal in life is to kill her kind so that good witches won't have their guides to help them out." Hojung said 

"So you put my life indanger of demons, creatures, monsters, and now darklighters that will come and chase me down." Kyulkyu said as she hit Hojung iwth a menu. "Thanks a lot!" She added as Dongyun took the menu from her. 

"You are going to mess it up and I just cleaned this one." Dongyun said as he looked at her. "Don't worry, Kyul. None of us will let one of those things hurt you." Dongyun added as he looked at her. "Besides you can heal yourself." He added 

"Uhm, no she can't. That is one set back to that power. They can't heal themselves." Hojung said 

"Seriously? Well that is just great, accident prone over there can heal but not herself." Dongyun complained as Kyulkyu glared at him. "I am just sayingn." He told her as she shook her head as she walked off. "Here is that mystery guys information. You go look him up or you know do some witchy stuff to find out who he is." Dongyun handed Hojung a copy he made of his application. 

"Why me? Plus why do you care so much?" She asked 

"What if he is darklighter?" Dongyun said as Hojung sighed

"Okay, okay. I will look in to mister Ji Iljoo but he turns out to be normal then you owe me big time." Hojung said as she folded up the peices of paper just stuffing them into her pocket as she paid her drink and snack. "Bye guys, see you later." She called as she left the place. She walked home just getting started on how to find out if this person was magical or not.
