“She didn’t like the idea.” Baekhyun coldly spats to you.

“She… she didn’t?” you blinked at him. You didn’t know if you should be intimated with the dark aura he is giving to you. His face was blank and cold and it didn’t make you feel any better when it reminds you of the first night of your wedding.

He scoffs, “Why would she?” he shook his head at you; “You thought she would like the idea of sharing me with you?”

You didn’t know how to answer that, he was no longer the Baekhyun you adored all these time. Instead, he looks like he turned back to his old self and it was scaring you.

“Listen.” He says in a stern tone, “I don’t want to deal with any bulls anymore, so do me a favour and divorce me.”

“What?” you gasped and quickly shook your head, “How can you say something like that Baekhyun? I thought I told you why I can’t divorce you.”

“Didn’t I tell you I don’t want to hear any bulls?” he slightly raised his voice making your heart to shake in fear.

He sighs and rubs his face tiredly, “I don’t want to make things complicated right now okay? So please!! I’m begging you.”

The way he spoke to you was making things worse for you. You gulped at the thought of being away from him. Even though his attitude isn’t normal; you still wanted to be with him.

He is greedy and you know that. He was greedy to have a great wife so that he can be happy for the rest of his life, but what he didn’t know is that, if someone truly loves him, he would be happy with them, them as in you. A good looking woman with an amazing family background won’t make him happy.

You never have experienced being in love before, but now, since you are matured and an adult; you take things seriously, such as loving him truly.

He, on the other hand, finds your feelings for him nothing but bull. And it hurts you so much. How can someone, as mature as him be so insensitive?

“I’m gonna contact with my lawyer right now.” He spoke out, “And he’ll bring the divorce papers tomorrow, so you better sign the papers, without any objections.”

His voice sounded strict and strong. He turned his back to you and was about to walk up to his room.

“No!”

He froze at your raised voice and looked back towards you in shock. What shocked him even more was; you were glaring at him, hard.

He scoffed at your look; “No?” he tilts his head at you, “Did you just say, no?”

“That is right.” You said coldly and without any emotions in your face, “I said no.”

He shook his head at you, “Are you trying to intimate me with that so called strictness in your words?”

You didn’t say anything but just stared at him hard. You have had enough of his stubbornness, so the feeling of annoyance was building up inside you. He has to accept you as his wife properly, whether he likes it or not.

He starts to walks towards you slowly, still maintaining the eye contact. The closer it get, the more fear you feel. But you knew, if you let your fear show to him, you’ll lose.

He smirks, “You do know that it wouldn’t matter if you don’t sign the papers right?”

Your brows furrowed in confusion, “Huh?”

He shook his head at you, “As expected, you don’t know anything about laws.” He scoffs, “It’s no problem if you don’t sign the papers. Even if only one of us signs it, it will be taken as separation too.” He pauses, “so even if you don’t sign the papers, I’ll sign it anyway.”

“What?” you gasped slightly. What is with this turn of the table? Weren’t separation contract supposed to have mutual agreement?

It is true that you don’t know anything about laws but you had a little idea about it.

“So, I’m gonna contact with my lawyer right now and make sure our separation happens the first thing tomorrow.” With that he turns his back to you, and walks away from you.

“Why are you doing this??” you yell out to him as tears starts to appear in your eyes. Your heart starts to cloak in your throat as it became hard to gulp.

He was once again stopped at your outburst, but this time he didn’t turn around immediately. He closed his eyes annoyed and sighed while shaking his head.

“What made you to be in love with that woman?” you breathe heavily, “How long have you known her?”

“It doesn’t matter.” He said while gritting his teeth, “I am in love with her and that’s it, you don’t have to find any logic in it with that little brain of yours.”

His insult would normally really hurt you, but it is nothing to you anymore. He has hurt you enough with the fact that he doesn’t want to spend his life with you anymore.

“No Baekhyun.” You shook your head. “You aren’t in love with her; you are just too obsessed with what people will think of you.”

This time, he instantly turned around and faced you with wide eyes.

“You only care about your reputation.” You your dried lips, “You are blinded by her beauty. If she wasn’t prettier than me, you wouldn’t even look at her once.”

“Shut up.” He orders you strictly, “You don’t know what you are saying. So don’t bother saying anything ridiculous.”

“You are the one who is being to ridiculous Baekhyun!” you sighed, “We have been married for almost six months and you know her for like what? Two months?” you shook your head at him. “You don’t truly love her, you just love her looks.”

He hates to admit, but your words do make sense. You were right about him knowing Taeyeon for just two months and it isn’t enough time to fall in love. He remembers Taeyeon telling him that only six months isn’t enough for you to be in love with him. But both he and Taeyeon have known each other for only two months. Does he really love her?

But on the other hand, what do you know? It’s his feelings anyway, how can you know what he feels? He knows, he as feelings for Taeyeon, so that’s it!

“What do you know about true love anyway?” he tilts his head at you, mockingly. “You are just a little girl, how much do you know about love?”

“More than you know.” You glared at him, “When I say something, I mean it. So when I said I love you, I mean it.”

He scoffs, “No Hera!” he shakes his head, “You don’t love me, you are just obsessed with me.”

You furrowed your eyebrows at him, “What?”

“That is right Hera, you are obsessed with Me.” he pauses, “Or else, why would you want to be with me so desperately? Even when I insult you so much? Even when I always made you cry?”

“I’m not obsessed.” You shook your head, “You are just in denial with your feelings.”

“What feelings?” he frowns confused.

“Tell me, if you never had feelings for me… then why would you kiss me whenever you go to office?” you crossed your arms and wait for his answer. He has to answer you anyhow.

Baekhyun was speechless at your question. Your question was making him thinking hard how to answer to you. He doesn’t even know what to answer, that would convince you that he never had feelings for you.

“Can’t answer?” you ask him, “See, I told you, you are in denial.” You run your hand through your hair, “Why would you even kiss me when you never had feelings for me?”

He scoffs, “You are being too confident about yourself huh?” he looks at you mockingly, “Don’t get your hopes up Hera; I’m a man after all.” He pauses, “I have needs.”

You didn’t say anything after that and just stared at him, just watching how far he goes with his words, how far he takes everything with him.

“How would you want me to react when you suddenly lean your face close to me?” he asks you, “If another man would be in my position that time, he would have kiss you too.”

You shook your head at his words. You wanted to block everything he was telling you because it was hurting you badly. You believed he was lying to you. He isn’t like other men, he is Baekhyun. The Baekhyun you love so much. He is just in denial.

“This marriage will never work out.” He declares. “So don’t try anymore, got it?”

“YOU ARE WRONG!!!” you finally burst out and start sobbing, “I know our marriage will work out if you forget that woman!!”

“Hey.” He glares at you, “Lower your voice, and stop being ridiculous again.” He pauses, “I’ll never forget her, so stop dreaming too.”

You scoff at him. Never in your life have you behaved like this to anyone. You never scoffed, yelled glared or rolled your eyes. He was making you so angry that you couldn’t help but to show this entire attitude to him.

“I won’t divorce you.” You declared this time. “Even if you divorce me, it wouldn’t matter either. I know I don’t know anything about laws, but at least I know that the separation wouldn’t be complete and clear if I don’t sign it too.”

His eyes widens at your words. To say he was afraid would be an understatement. He is terrified at your knowledge of laws.

Though it is a common sense that without mutual agreement, the separation wouldn’t be 100 percent completed, but he didn’t expect you to know about this.

“It’s getting late.” You quietly said, “I know you just had dinner outside, so I didn’t make anything tonight.” You sighed, “I’m going to sleep now.”

With that, you walked past him and went up to the room where you used to sleep before. You didn’t dare to sleep in the room you both shared all this time, because nothing between you both is normal anymore. But you do hope to make it normal again. You just hope.

He was still standing on the living room, biting his bottom lip in anger. His hands start to form in fists as the anger starts to rise every minute. He can’t believe he failed again. He promised Taeyeon that he would successfully convince you to divorce him, but you just turned everything more complicated.

He kicks the couch in anger and walks upstairs to his room. He doesn’t know what to do anymore but all he knows is that, he doesn’t want to spend the rest of his life with you at all. He wants to experience things with Taeyeon and show her off to everyone.

You were right about one thing is that, he cares about his reputation a lot. But that doesn’t mean he doesn’t have any feelings for Taeyeon.

When he reached his bed, his phone rang. He looked at the ID and saw it was Taeyeon calling him. He sighed at it, reluctant to pick up the phone because he will disappoint her if he picks up.

“Hi,” she paused at his voice, “Is everything okay?”

He sighs, “I don’t know Taeyeon I… I’m sorry; she is not listening to me.”

Taeyeon sighs, “So, you are going to give up n me?”

“What?” he frowns, “No, why would you think that?”

“What else would I think?” she asks, “I know you tried hard, but u didn’t try enough, but I don’t blame you because, she is obsessed with you so of course it is tough for you to get rid of her.”

Her words weren’t insulting but it hurt him. He was supposed to look manly and dominant to her, by showing her that he can do anything for her, but he failed.

He didn’t do anything as he promised to her, so he must look like a failure now, but he is not gonna handle any of it.

“I’ll, I’ll just get married to someone else Baek.” She said that hesitantly, “There is nothing we can do anymore about it… it was nice getting to know you.”

“No!” he said with strength in his voice, “Don’t give up yet, it isn’t over.”

“What do you mean?” she asks, “Do you think she’ll listen to you any longer and divorce you? I don’t think so.”

“Just wait.” He says, “We are going to get married and that’s it.” He promises, “I’m gonna hang up now, good night.” He hangs up without hearing her answer.”
