“I can’t wear this dress.”

Baekhyun frowned at your statement as you looked down on the ground, not meeting his eyes.

“But… why not?” he asked you in concern.

It was Friday evening. Things between you both were going normal until he surprised you by asking you to go with him at the business party.

And that wasn’t the only thing surprised you; he even bought you an expensive gown that was laid on the bed.

You must say… you really liked this gown. It was beautiful but it’s just not for you. You never wore something like this in your life. The halter strap was the most disturbing to you, it shows shoulders. You never show your shoulders to anyone. You always wear three quarter sleeves.

“It just… shows a lot.” You mumbled.

“Shows a lot?” Baekhyun asked you, in a way that said he didn’t expect this from you.

“Yeah, uhm… the sleeves are not my style.”

“The sleeves?” he looked at the sleeves and then at you, “What is wrong with the sleeves?”

“It is sleeveless.” You shook your head, “I don’t wear sleeveless.”

“But it’s a really beautiful gown Hera.” He tries to convince you, “Moreover, its way covered than the women wears in business parties.”

“But still.”

“Look, just go to the party with me and you’ll see what the women wear there.” He explains, “Some of them wears mini dresses, some shows their back and last but not least, they shows their cleavages.”

Your eyes widens at that, “You… you saw them wearing that.”

“I’ve seen worse.” He says making you even more shock, “Trust me Hera, this gown is nothing compared to those dresses.”

You sigh at his stubbornness, “how about, I don’t go to the party at all? You can just go without me, I wouldn’t mind.”

His eyes widens at that. He wanted to go without you before but thought you would feel bad about that, so now when he offers you to go with him; you say you don’t want to go?

If it was the old him, he would immediately accept your words and go there alone, but now he doesn’t know why, he don’t want to go alone.

He sighs, “It would look bad if I go alone there you know?” he explains, “Everyone knows that I’m married, and if they see that I didn’t bring you, they would give me the odd look.”

You must say; it made you feel bad for him. But on the other hand you were happy that he wants to take you with him. All this time you felt like you were the only one who is giving the effort in your marriage. And tonight he was showing his effort to you, so you felt glad about it.

“F-fine.” You finally agreed to his offer, “I’ll go with you.”

He sighs in relief, mentally thanking God. “Good. Now get ready while I wait for you outside.” He pauses, “And there is a makeup kit on the dressing table. I bought that for you too, so use it well.”

“Wait.” You stop him as he was walking towards the door, “I don’t know how to use make up.”

He just stared at you as if you grew two heads. How surprising can you get?

He sighs, “I guess I have to call Mrs Lee then.”

He was all, suit up for the party while sitting in the living room, waiting patiently for you to come out of the room.

He knows that this is all new to you but someday you have to experience new things, so why not now?

He also realised that you never wore anything revealing in front of him. It was always leggings and fitting top, which ends till your mid thigh and sleeves are three quarter. So he does understand your reason to be this uncomfortable.

But on the other hand, he forgot you are not like any other women he encountered with; he thought you would like pretty clothes and fashionable things but you don’t. So he couldn’t help but to be eager to see you in that gown quickly, just to see how you look like in that.

“Baekhyun-ah?”

He looks up as the woman in her 50’s call out for him. He quickly gets up and walks up to her, “Yes ajummah? Is she ready?”

“Well almost.” She smiles at him, “Her make up is already done and the gown perfectly fits her but…” she pauses, “There is something about the dress I’m unfamiliar about.”

“Oh, what is it?” he asks.

“The back is open, and seeing there is a ribbon with it, I’m suppose it is for tying up the back close?”

“Oh right.” He remembers what the worker at the mall said to him, “Yeah it was suppose to tie up the back.”

“Hmm.” She nods, “I actually don’t know how to tie that ribbon since in my days, I’ve never wore anything like that.”

He nods, “Right I understand.” He sighs and mutters, “I guess I have to do that.”

“You do know how to tie that right?” she asks him.

“Yeah I know.” He nods and smiles gratefully at her, “Thanks Mrs Lee, I don’t know what I’d do without you.”

She chuckles, “I’m always here to help son.” She pauses, “Your wife looks really pretty by the way, so go inside quickly and see her.”

He forces out a smile at her, “Will do.”

With that he says goodbye to her and goes to his room. He stopped in front of the door and knocked on it.

“Can I come in now?”

“Wait!” he heard her voice from the inside and frowned when he heard some shuffling.

After waiting patiently for few seconds he heard her saying “Come in.”

He got in quickly but frowned when he didn’t see you.

“Hera?”

“I’m behind you.”

He swiftly turned around and froze when he saw your state.

“Why did you wrap yourself in a blanket?”

You look down shyly and mumbled, “I was insecure… that is why.”

He sighs and was about to say something but stopped when he saw your face.

He must say… Mrs Lee did a great job with the make up.

He couldn’t help but to observe every detail on your face. He noticed your smoky eye make up, it wasn’t that much smoky but it was a simple kind of smoky. He was glad Mrs Lee didn’t put yellow eye shadow on you ‘cause it would look like a kid make up. Too much matching is childish to him.

Then his eyes trailed to your pink lips. It looked so pretty with your skin tone. You looked like a living doll to him.

You on the other hand, were getting more uncomfortable with the staring. You knew you were blushing hard, judging by the fact that your neck is getting warm.

“Baekhyun-ssi?” you decided to snap him out of his thought because you can’t handle that stare anymore.

“Right.” He clears his throat, embarrassed for getting caught. “Come here.”

You obeyed his command and stopped in front of him, still not looking in his eyes.

“Look, I’m going to tie up the ribbon behind you, so you need to step out from that blanket.” He explains to you like you are a child.

You look up at him in big eyes, “W-what? Uh…” you shook your head, “I can’t.”

“You have to.” He states, “Now step out of it, or else I’ll do it my self.”

You frowned, “You wouldn’t.”

He nods, “Trust me.” He grips on the blanket, “I would.”

“Fine!!” you exclaim as you felt him to tug the blanket.

He watches as you slowly step out of the blanket with mouth open. He couldn’t help but think that you were stripping in front of him. Men will be men anyway.

His jaw literally dropped on the floor when he finally saw you in that gown. Mrs Lee was right, the gown fits you perfectly.

He also couldn’t take his eyes off your collar bones, though your cleavage wasn’t shown but it is showing a big amount of you skin above your s.

And again, you got shy with his stares. You absentmindedly start to rub your arm, trying to find the warmness of the blanket you were wearing before. With the amount of stares he was giving you were actually making you feel beautiful. No one ever saw you like that so it was new to you, and you liked this new feeling.

He clears his throat when he noticed he was making you uncomfortable again, “So, where is the ribbon?”

You pointed on the bed and he walks towards it. He came back in front of you with the ribbon and asks you to turn around.

This is the part where you panic. You are so nervous to show him your . The back of the dress was totally opened and you were glad that you can actually close it with the ribbon. But showing your to him?

“Come on.” He urges, “Turn around already, we don’t have enough time you know?”

You nodded at him when you realised he was right. So you slowly turned around, closing you eyes at the process, scared that he would get disgusted at your back.

When your back finally turned to him, he was greeted with your curled hair. He noticed that there was a curling iron in Mrs Lee’s hand and he was glad that she brought it with her here. He was bored with your usual simple straight hair so seeing your curly hair was a surprise to him and he must admit that it looks good on you.

He voluntarily removed your hair away from his sight so that he can tie the ribbon, while you got shocked when you felt his hand on your hair.

His breath hitched when he saw the bare part of your body. Sure he saw a lot of woman showing their s to everyone but you were exception. Looking at your back, he can tell that it was never seen by anyone, it just looked so innocent.

He quickly stops his thinking and proceeds to do the ribbon work. He clearly remembers the details the worker showed so he starts to do it at ease but froze when his fingers touched your back.

You stiffen at the feeling of his fingers touching you and mentally groaned when you know that things are going to get tough with the ribbon.

And he thought the same thing.

“S-sorry.” He shakily apologises to you and you muttered out an “Its okay” to him.

He took a deep breath and starts to tie up the ribbon in one go, knowing that he can’t waste anymore time. His boss would be mad at him for being late.

You kept your eyes closed throughout the time. The occasional touches were killing you inside but you have to go through it. You kept stiffening at the light brushes of his finger, but didn’t open your mouth at all

He couldn’t help but to bite his lip at the skin-ship. It’s been a long time since he touched a woman, so the skin-ship was also killing him on the inside. He admits that few of his touches were on purpose. You can’t blame him for tha
