“Baekhyun, there is something I need to tell you.” Taeyeon says nervously.

The both of them secretly went on a date in a restaurant. It wasn’t their first date; they have been hanging out a lot, without any work purpose too.

Baekhyun noticed her nervousness and gave her a worried look, “Is everything okay? What is it?”

She sighs, “I wish everything was okay Baekhyun, I just don’t know how to tell you this.”

“You are scaring me.” He stared at her, “Just tell me and I’ll help you with the problem you are facing.”

“You will?” she asks him hopefully.

“Yeah.” He smiled at her comfortingly, “Now tell me.”

She takes a deep breath, “My parents wants me to get married Baekhyun.”

He froze at her announcement. He was scared that something like this will happen soon, and it happened too early. He thought you would be distant to him by now so that it would be easier for him to be around Taeyeon more. But you have been clinging to him a lot so it was hard for him to make a move on Taeyeon, but seems like he is being too slow here. He can’t let this happen; he really likes the woman in front of him.

“W-what?” he stutters in disbelief, “B-but why?”

She gives him a sad look, “I’m turning 30 soon Baek, I can’t be single forever. My parents won’t like it if I get married so late.”

“But what about us?” he asks her desperately, “I thought you liked me.”

“I do.”  She quickly replied, “It’s just, you are already married… still married.”

He flinched when she emphasised ‘still married’. He knew he disappointed her since he didn’t do as he promised to her. He promised that he will divorce you soon and be with her before it’s too late, and now it’s already too late.

“And what we have been doing is kinda wrong you know? What will people say when they find out what is going on with us? They will give us looks, and I can’t afford to put my family’s name in shame Baekhyun.”

“I’ll talk to Hera tonight.” He immediately said. He couldn’t take all the fact Taeyeon said to him so easily. She has a point, what they have been doing all these days are really wrong, and he have to make everything right.

“You said that before.” She points out, “I don’t think Hera is going to let you go so easily.”

“What do you mean?” he asks frowning.

She shrugs, “I don’t know, it’s just…” she sighs, “She seems to be obsessed with you or something.”

His eyes widen, “You think so?”

“Well why would she be so clingy to you?” she asks him, “I think you have to do something quickly before it’s too late Baekhyun, do something.”

He nods while being lost in his thoughts. What Taeyeon said to him, makes sense. You might be obsessed with him and it’s totally not good. It would be hard to get rid of you now.

You opened the door and hugged him tightly making him startled.

“Where have you been?” you let go and looked at him, “I thought your office ends at 8 and you would be home by 8:30. It’s 10 now and you missed the dinner time.” You pout at him.

He looks at your pout and then at your eyes, “I had to do something for the boss so it took a lot of my time, that’s why.” He excuses and gets inside, while you follow after him.

“Oh, okay then. Quickly fresh up then, I’ll wait for you in the dining room for dinner.” You smiled and was about to go to the dining room.

“I already had my dinner.” He announce, making you stop in your step.

“You had dinner?” You asked him turning around and saw him nodding.

You couldn’t help but be a little sad. You waited for him so that you both can have dinner together, but on the other hand he already had his dinner?

But you remind yourself to look on the bright side; at least he didn’t starve himself.

“That is good then, at least you didn’t starve yourself.” You mumbled, still a little bummed.

He just stares at your expression, feeling a little guilt. But he only nods and was about to head upstairs, but stops and looks at you.

“Did you eat anyway?”

You look at him and gave him a soft smile, “I thought that I’ll eat with you, so I didn’t.”

He was surprised at your answer, and the guilt feeling starts to expand. But he can’t feel like that, he have to be distant to you.

“Okay then, eat up quickly. It’s already late.” With that he goes up to the bedroom, leaving you alone.

You stared up to his retreating figure sadly; he didn’t even stay with you while you eat.

You silently opened the bedroom door and saw the lights were off. You saw his sleeping figure on the bed and got in quickly while making sure not to make any sound.

But he wasn’t actually sleeping; his minds were full of thoughts. He knows he can’t delay anymore and he has to tell you everything right now, but he didn’t know how.

He shut his eyes when he felt you getting inside the cover. You made sure not to disturb him in his sleep so you tried to make no noise as you slip inside.

Few minutes passes by, he still didn’t get any guts to call you. He has to call you before you fall asleep.

He remembers how sad Taeyeon was when she told him she is getting married. He hated that moment. So with a lot of guts, he gets up and looks at your sleeping figure. He just hopes you are not already asleep.

“Hera?” he calls you as he softly grabs your shoulder.

You opened your eyes when you felt his hand on your shoulder and turn to look at him, “What is it?”

He keeps silent for a moment, “I need to tell you something.”

“Okay…” you get up and turn the lamp on beside you and face him, “What do you want to tell me.”

He his lips as his heart starts to drum inside his chest. He didn’t know how you would take the news so it was getting hard for him.

“You okay?” you ask him frowning. His silent was worrying you.

He nods and looks in your eyes. “There is something I want to tell you, and I want you to listen carefully.”

You nod, “Okay.” But you have to admit that his expression was scaring you, it didn’t look good.

“Okay.” He takes a deep breath and looks at you again, “Remember when you asked me to tolerate our marriage until our wishes get granted?”

“Yeah.” You nod when you remembered that night, so you were curious what he wanted to tell you.

“I got my wish granted.” He said and stared at your expression.

Your eyebrows furrowed when you start to think what his wish was. It was to find his ideal woman. Does that mean…?

Your face stretched to form a happy grin, “Really?”

He was confused at your expression, but still nodded, “Yeah.”

“That is great.” You smiled, “I’m so happy Baekhyun.” With that you hugged him, making his eyes widen.

“Wait, did you understand what I just said?” he asked in confuse as he hugged you back.

You pull away to look at him, “Yeah, you found your ideal woman… in me.”

His eye brows furrowed, “Huh?”

“I also got my wish granted you know?” you ask him shyly, “My wish was to have a happy married life, and I’m happy with you.”

His eyes widens when he realised you got the whole thing wrong.

“No, no, no Hera.” He quickly shook his head, “That is not what I’m saying.”

“Huh? Then?” you frowned at him confused.

“I found my ideal woman… but that is not you.” He dropped that dreadful statement and wanted to smack himself for saying it like that. That was so insensitive of him.

“What?” you froze at his words, while you felt something to break in your chest.

“I met someone Hera.” He mumbles a little guiltily, “She is totally my type and… she makes me happy.”

“No…” you whispered in disbelief while shaking your head, “this can’t be happening.”

“Hera look,” He grabs your shoulder, making you look in his eyes, “you have to understand what I’m saying is good for both of us. Beside, you told me to tolerate you till I find my ideal woman and… I finally found someone.”

“I was talking about me.” You said with broken voice, “I said to tolerate me until you find your ideal type in me.

He gulped at your words and was really speechless. He didn’t know you meant it that way, now things just got even more complicated, how he is going to fix this now?

“I-I didn’t know…” he trailed off, not knowing what to say.

You just stared at him unblinking. Your eyes start to sting for staring at him too long and not so long later, tears starts to appear in them.

“Why?” you whisper to him, looking betrayed, “Why would you look at other woman, when you have me?”

Your question got him shaking inside, he realised he has hurt you to the core. He shakily looks up at you and noticed your tears forming.

“Look, I mean no harm.” He tries to explain, “It was my fault to misunderstand your words, but…” he his lips when he saw you looking away from him, “but you have to understand that, it’s too late.”

You sigh and shook your head at his excuse; you can’t even describe how you are feeling right now. How did all this happen after doing so much for him?

“Who is she?” you ask him whispering, not trusting your broken voice.

He looks at you and pauses to think if it’s the right thing to tell about Taeyeon right now. He can see that you are already not taking this too well and he doesn’t want to make things even worse. He wanted to do this peacefully, but your tears were making it complicated.

“Her name is Kim Taeyeon.” He said while looking somewhere else, he couldn’t take in your broken face.

 “How could you?” you look at him as you controlled your sob.

He was startled at your sudden question and look at you wide eyes.

You got up and stared at him, “How could you like someone else, when I did so much for you?”

“Hera listen…” he sighs and got up too. “Try to understand here, you’ll never be happy with me.”

“What are you talking about?” you frowned as your tears already streaming on your face, “I am happy with you.”

“No you are not.” He shook his head. “You are being delusional here; we don’t have feelings for each other. And if we want to have a happy married life, we have to love each other first and then get married.”

“That’s not true I-” you tried to tell him, but he cut you off.

“Look Hera, you have to understand the fact that I have feelings for someone else, and I can’t take back my feelings.” He stares at you to make sure you understand him.

But how can you understand him when your heart keeps breaking at each of the word he just said? The fact that he doesn’t like you but someone else was really hard for you to take in. You thought you were his only one.

“And I’m sure there is someone else who likes you Hera.” He says making you confuse, “You should know that Sehun really likes you. He just can’t stop talking about you, you know?”

“What?” you look at him in disbelief, “You want me to be with someone else?”

“He is a nice person Hera.” He explains lamely, “I’m sure he can make you happy. You just have to open up to him.”

“Never!” you yelled closing your eyes while covering your ears. You couldn’t take the fact that he wants you to be with another man. You felt disgusted at his words, what kind of husband is he?

He stared at you wide eyes when you yelled for the first time. He didn’t know that you can yell like this, you were always so calm and quite. Did he touch your limit point?

“What is wrong with you baekhyun?” you ask him while grabbing his collar, “Why are you trying to push me, your wife, to another man’s hand?” you finally let out a sob, “Doesn’t it hurt your ego? Doesn’t it disgust you?”

“Hera, calm down.” He grabs your wrist. “this is a win-win situation, you get to be happy with Sehun while I get to marry my ideal woman.”

“Marry?” you gasp at his word while moving away from him, “You want to marry her? And divorce me? But we aren’t married for that long, how can you just get rid of me like that?”

“I’m not getting rid of you.” He lies, “I’m just handing you over to someone who is right for you.”

“How do you know he is right for me?” you were starting to get crazy, “And how do you know she is the right woman for you?”
