Jennie stared at the sand for the longest. She just didn’t know what to do, a quest? With Irene and Jisoo? Just  her luck. And Joy, who hates her and reminds that fact every single time they encounter each other.

Her hands trembled. There’s something in the air.

“Jisoo” the first step is to make amends to the person she hurt  “I am sorry, I haven’t been a good friend for you this last days”

Jennie heard that harsh intake of air.

“What do you mean?”

“I stopped hanging around with you and didn’t tell you about my relationship with your sister. I am sorry for that too. I guess I was too caught up in that” Jennie couldn’t stop the blush, and Jisoo saw that. If there’s a part of her that hasn’t been hurt, seeing the happiness in Jennie’s eyes as she talked about her relationship, broke her heart even more.

“Well, for your information, you never were really discreet about your liking towards Irene”

Jennie coughed, and blushed again.

“really? I am sorry for that too, I just didn’t want to make our friendship awkward by liking your sister”

Jisoo sighed.

“I think the whole camp knew that you were madly in love with her”

Jennie got closer to Jisoo, and smiled.

“Still you are my best friend, I should had come clean about my feelings”

Jisoo smiled back, and even if the pain was too much, she understood her friend. Jennie’s eyes are clear and contented. It’s all Jisoo wants for her.

“I guess I was jealous of my own sister”

Jennie’s eyes widened, and tightened.

“Why?”

There’s this magnetic pull that makes Jisoo kiss Jennie, until they forget how to breath. It’s always been like this, since they were little kids. She dreamt of kissing Jennie, until the pain in her eyes recede and only looked at Jisoo. That dream was shattered now, but those feelings are hard to kill.

She needs to stop it before it’s to late.

“Because she was stealing my best friend”

Jennie blinked, and then chuckled, her long arm wrapped around Jisoo’s waist, and brought her closer. She hugged her best friend with all the love of the world. And their hug didn’t burn like Irene’s does. On the contrary, it calmed her fears, it smells of safety. She loves Jisoo like that.

“she never stole me from you. Remember this, I am always yours” Jennie whispered softly. Jisoo almost cried with the confession, but held back her ground.

She playfully pushed Jennie back, by the chest, not wanting that proximity, even if the smell of Jennie is her favorite.

“Stop it, Casanova. What will Irene say if she hears you telling me that?”

Jennie furrowed her eyebrows.

“She would understand, you are my best friend and I love you, I am yours to keep. Nothing will change that, not even her”

Jisoo chocked on her tears. And Jennie was worried.

“I am sorry I hurt you so much”

Jisoo was sobbing, while with one hand covered her eyes.

“It’s not your fault. You didn’t do anything wrong”

Jennie brought Jisoo back to her arms, and comforted her through thenight.

“So? Don’t you feel an ounce of guilt?” Yeri crossed her arms over her chest, and stared at Irene, watching her beautiful features, and waiting for her answer. The girl just keep watching the embrace of her girlfriend and younger sibling. Her face was a perfect mask without emotions.

“Why would I feel guilty?” her voice was cold, no humor on it.

Yeri laughed.

“You broke your own sister’s heart, and now you admit that you don’t feel remorse? You are one of a kind”
