Sana POV.

As me and chewy finished up the dishes, I couldn't help but drool from all these wonderful smells coming up from the air.

Tzuyu: Do you want to help me plate?

Sana: I do…But I don't want to mess up how you would.

She just smiled and patted my head.

Tzuyu: How about ladling the missing soup into bowls and taking them down to the dining area?

I shook and nodded my head enthusiastically and followed through with the team. My housekeeper then came in the nick of time and helped me bring the soup to the dining table. I was then treated with an abundance of applause and cheering for the food.

Sana: Miso soup is served!

As I placed the bowl in front of my family and friends, the aroma took over with a clean seafood smell. Everyone dug in immediately as yummy and satisfying sounds left everyone's mouths.

Mrs. Minatozaki: Oshi! ~

Mr. Minatozaki: Waaaa… It's been so long since I had Miso soup at this caliber…

Mina: Yah~ this is so good. Momo? How is it?

Momo: It was so good that I finished mine already…

Sakura: this is a taste of home…

Chaeyeon: Where is Chewy? Will she eat with us?

Sana: She's plating the main course right now! Ajumeoni, come sit and eat with us as well!

Mr. Minatozaki: Yah… Ms. Kim. Have a seat… you need to eat as well!

Ms. Kim(housekeeper): Of course Mr. Minatozaki.

I then placed all the bowls down with Ms. Kim's help.

Sana: I'll check on Chewy and we will join in to eat!

Mrs. Minatozaki: Okay dear. Hurry so the food won't get cold!

Sana: Yes mother!

I then went back to see how focused Chewy was playing and wiping the dished with her clean kitchen towel. Chewy then looked up at me and smiled.

Tzuyu: It's pretty much all set! Sana-ah come over here and have the first taste!

Sana: Okay!

I then hurried by Chewy's side and opened my mouth. I waited and wondered why nothing was in my mouth yet. All I could see was a chuckling Chewy. I then pout my face together and Chewy then brought the chopstick with some rice and a small piece of eel to my mouth.

Tzuyu: Sorry… I thought you were eating it yourself!

Sana: Baka…

I then took a bite and immediately, I was in bliss.

Sana: OH.MY.GOD… This is beyond good.

She smiled at me and then scrunched her nose… which was so cute and unbearable… I never knew she could make that face...

Tzuyu: I'm glad. Oh, I need to add your julienne onions.

I then went and grabbed the bowl draining the water and handed it to Chewy. Chewy grabbed the bowl and patted my head.

Tzuyu: Thank you.

She then reached over the other end of the chopsticks I ate from and placed a small curled bundle of each dish. It was so pretty and perfectly placed.

Tzuyu: okay done! Let's serve it!

Sana: Mhmm!

Just then Chewy paused and started pointing to her lips and spoke.

Tzuyu: Sana-ah, you have a grain of rice on this side of your cheek…

I then felt all over and couldn't feel it…

Sana: Where is it…

Tzuyu: It's right over here….

Chewy then extended her thumb and picked it off and placed the grain of rice in and looked at me.

Tzuyu: Mhmm… Mashisoyo!

I then looked at opening and closing my mouth. I felt my cheeks get warmer… Chewy then placed her hand on my face and cupped my cheek.

Tzuyu: Ready for service?

Sana: M-mhmm!

I then carried two plates and I saw Chewy balancing 7 plates.

Sana: Wow…

Tzuyu: Haha I did work in a restaurant!

We then made our way and more cheering was heard. As all the plates were served, I then took my seat and chewy came to the empty seat beside me.

Tzuyu: Sorry for the wait!

Mr. Minatozaki: all is well Tzuyu-ssi! We poured the chilled wine and you came in the nick of time! Let's all dig in.

We all started eating and more satisfied sounds escaped from everyone's mouth. I thought the dish was amazing. The soup base was delicious once you pour it in and then the eel was so tender. The rice was fragrant, and I had a small wife of this aroma…

Sana: Chewy-ah, did you put some tea in the rice?

Tzuyu: Ah! While the rice was resting, I smoked some roasted rice tea into the rice!

Sakura: Waaaa… this is so good! This is the best Hitsumabushi I have had!

Mina: It's so unique yet so familiar…

Momo: I already at all of it…

Chaeyeon: That fast?! I'm trying to eat more slowly because of how good this dish is!

Mrs. Minatozaki: This is a wonderful dish! It might be better than the one your Aunt served us back in Japan!

Mr. Minatozaki: Yahhhh. Your family must be full of chefs? You for sure inherited all your parents’ skills.

I then stopped eating and then looked at Chewy. She took a deep breath and smiled. I then secretly held her hand and she intertwined her fingers and my hand with her thumb.

Tzuyu: Hahaha! I'm sure I did. I guess I was lucky! My dad can't cook so save his life from what my aunt said. My Aunt would always tell me I always took after my mom, who cooked along with my Aunt as the Sou chef!

I then looked at Chewy again and she looked back reassuring me by indicating with her eyes that it is all okay.

Mr. Minatozaki: We sure are lucky to have you cook for us today!

Everyone nodded their heads. Content and fell from eating all the food.

Mr. Minatozaki: We must do this more often! Tzuyu-ssi, you should invite your parents over some time! I need to tell them how great and mention how well they have raised you to be this wonderful person!

I then was shocked and without thinking I stood up and looked at my dad…

Sana: Otosan! ...

Everyone was shocked and gasped as to why reacted so abruptly. Chewy then stood up to calm me down and insisted I sit down. Chewy suggested I take a deep breath and I just listened and followed. as I calmed down I then began to speak again…

Sana: I'm sorry… I didn't mean to act so rashly…

Chewy then wrapped her arms over my shoulder, patting it indicating it was okay…

Mr. Minatozaki: Sana-chan…It's okay. Please just share to me why you reacted this way…

I then became quiet...I wanted to speak but my mouth wouldn't let me as the words became stuck at the back of my throat. As things got quiet, Chewy looked into my eyes and calmed me down. She mouthed the words 'it's okay. Let me…'

Tzuyu: Mr. Minatozaki… please don't be mad at Sana…

She then took a deep breath while looking at me and then spoke.

Tzuyu: I think Sana was upset because my parents were mentioned… you see… they both passed away… right before I was born.

Mrs. Minatozaki: Oh dear… I'm so sorry… we didn't know…

Mr. Minatozaki: Tzuyu-ssi ... Please forgive me…

Tzuyu: Please! Don't be! It's okay! My aunt raised me away from my abusive grandparents and through her… I was able to learn more about my parents and who they were!

Mrs. Minatozaki: So you've been living alone all this time?

Tzuyu: I lived alone at the age of 13, but right now in college I'm rooming with two friends from high school!

The room became quiet as everyone was shocked by what they just heard. I felt so bad but then Chewy faced me and shook her head indicating that it wasn't my fault and that everything is okay.

Mr. Minatozaki: Sana dear…Was this why you told us not to mention her parents?...

I then nodded my head and then spoke.

Sana: I felt that...it wasn't my place to mention her story…

Chewy then held my hand and smiled at me. She mouthed to me 'thank you …'

Tzuyu: Well enough with that! Let's just have a good time!

Momo and Mina: Agreed!

Everyone shook their head in agreement and the mood went up again. We continued the night eating and talking about memories and funny moments. It was getting late as everyone was preparing to leave after cleaning up!

Chaeyeon: Me and Sakura will be heading off now! Thank you so much for the invitation!

Mr. Minatozaki: You're welcome! Please get home safely!

Chaeyeon: We have 2-3 more seats in our car! Does anyone need a ride!?

Momo: Do you mind taking Mina and me? I think we drank a little too much

Sakura: Of course! Sana-chan are you and Chewy okay? We can all squeeze!

Sana: It's okay! Me and Chewy can walk home!

Sakura: Okay, be safe now!

Mina: Goodbye Mr. and Mrs. Minatozaki! Thank you for a wonderful night!

Everyone was making their way out as we all waved to each other. As everyone left, it was just me and Chewy.

Tzuyu: All set?

Sana: Mhmm!

Before putting our shoes on…

Mr. Minatozaki: Please wait! Sana! Tzuyu-ssi!

We both turned and my father walked and faced Chewy.

 

Tzuyu POV

Mr. Minatozaki: Tzuyu-ssi, are you free starting from next Monday?

Tzuyu: I should be! I just received an email that my night class will be over Thursdays from this point on!

Mr. Minatozaki: Perfect! I have decided that you got the job! It's not because of Sana by the way. We need your skillset and personality in our workforce!

Tzuyu: I am honored… Thank you for this opportunity!

We shook hands and I bowed as goodbye as Sana went to hug both her parents goodbye. Just then Mrs. Minatozaki came up and hugged me. As we parted…

Mrs. Minatozaki: Tzuyu-chan, please come more often! You are practically family now!

Mr. Minatozaki then nodded his head in agreement and I smiled. We then went on our way home.

As we were walking, I noticed Sana looking a bit cold. I then took off my scarf and wrapped it around her.

Sana: Yah… you'll get cold.

I then took her hand, intertwined then with mine, and placed it in my coat pocket. I then smirked and looked at her.

Tzuyu: I won't now…

Sana then blushed… I then took my other hand and brushed the free strands of hair over her ear and then caressed her cheek with my thumb. Sana leaned into my touch and smiled as she turned to kiss my hand on her cheek.

Sana: You've been so bold today… Despite your contradiction earlier…

I looked into her eyes and just smiled.

Tzuyu: Sorry… the more I control myself, the more I can't resist...

I then her cheeks and noticed something white falling from the sky, perfectly landing on her hair.

Tzuyu: Snow…

Sana then looked up and smiled.

Sana: My grandma always told me that the first person I am with and see during the first snow…

Sana then looked at me directly in my eyes as I looked back. Her eyes just glistened in the snow along with all the lamp lights shining. I couldn't help but be lost in her beautiful eyes. Sana moved her face forward placing our face barely an inch apart as our foreheads touched.

Sana: … the person who I am with will be the one forever in your heart.

My heart began to beat louder and louder… I could almost hear Sana's heart as well...in sync with mine. I then placed both my hands on her face, cupping them tenderly as I looked at her lips and eyes back and forth. I noticed her biting her bottom lip, which pulled me in more into temptation. I smiled and tenderly pulled her lips towards mine for a brief kiss and then parted placing my forehead on hers again.

Tzuyu: You've always been in my heart

Sana: And you were always in mine.

We then smiled at each other and looked at each other under the snowy night sky.

Tzuyu: Sana… can I ...kiss you again.

Sana then smiled, showing her gummy smile that I knew. She then suddenly laughed squinting her eyes that showed a smile as well. 'Cute'

Sana: Chewy-ah… do you know that you scrunch your nose when you smile happily… it's super cute…

Sana then leaned in as our nose touched…

Sana: I would...love to kiss you… if you can please…

I then saw her close my eyes and did the same...moving forward as our lips met again. At that moment, I couldn't think of anything else. The kiss lasted longer as we moved our lips to meet more, feeling the sensations of bliss. As we parted, we both smiled. I held her hand and we walked back home, hand and hand. At that moment I wanted time to stop with only me and Sana existing… To me this was perfect…Warm and most of all… 'This is complete bliss'.
