Tzuyu POV High school graduation

It was a bright sunny day in Seoul, cherry blossoms falling down trees as we went up one by one getting our diplomas. After getting my diploma, I followed along with the rest of the ceremony with my class. As the principle ended our graduation everyone jumped for joy. I however just stood there in a daze. The joy didn't faze me and it was all the same. Empty and emotionless. Afterwards everyone gathered to the front to take pictures. I just stood there seeing everyone taking pictures with their family. Where do you ask my parents are? Well, their dead. Dead on the day I was born.

Flashback 18 years ago

Doctor: EMERGENCY!!! THE MOTHER IS IN LABOR BUT WE ARE LOSING HER.

Assistant: AT THIS RATE WE CAN ONLY SAVE THE BABY. WE HAVE TO DO THIS PR ELSE WE WILL LOSE BOTH OF THEM.

Present time:

On that same day, my father was driving in the bustling storm getting to the hospital but as he stopped at the stoplight, a huge accident occurred as a drunk driver rammed into traffic colliding with a truck the collapse on top of my dad’s car. Why do you ask I know? I have been living with my grandparents due to the accident and they despise me for taking both of them away from this place. The unlucky child. They would all say. So, when I turned 13, I ran away and lived in the city looking for work as I went to school. The only thing I had with me was money I saved up and a photo of my supposed parents that would have been alive if it weren't for me. It was a difficult life, but it was better than being abused. I had no friends and I was always alone. I even joined a small gang to protect myself. Well technically I never joined but was recruited a temporary member to teach the how to fight. I didn't really associate with them, but everyone was scared of who I am. The first 2 years were lonely and as I enter high school, the gang was just a hinder to me so I left it. I didn't expect much since the result of my years will just be like every day, but that was then I met her. As I was standing looking in the distance I felt a presence or two approaching me. As they snuck up closer I waited patiently before I jump out of the way.

Tzuyu: 1...2...3!

I jumped and moved quickly out of the way and as I predicted two people jumped at me. But they weren't bad people at all

Chaeyoung: OWWWW!!! God dammit Tzuyu what was that for huh!!!!

Dahyun: You monster how can you dodge us at that range.

Tzuyu: Sorry sorry! I couldn't help it. But what the hell are y'all doing here? Shouldn't you be taking pics with your parents?!

Chaeyoung: We just did! But now we were planning to take a pic with you too!

Tzuyu: You guys know that I hate pictures, right?! I thought you guys know me

Dahyun: We know but we never asked until today! Plus, we will be rooming with each other in college, right?! So this can be the start of our adventure

I cringed as I heard that but then the both hooked onto my arms and Dahyun extended her arm for a selca.

Dahyun: NOW SAY TTEOKBOKKI!!!

Tzuyu: Ehhh?

And Dahyun snapped it capturing my derp confused face.

Chaeyoung:. OKAY THANKS TZUYU!!! GOTTA GO!!!

Chaeyoung then held Dahyun’s hand and started running. Even from that I knew they were dating. I smiled and chuckled seeing them. But my face turned grim reminiscing her.

Flashback

???: CHEWY-AH COME ONE!!! WWE HAVE TO GO ON THIS RIDE?!?!

Tzuyu: You know that I hate heights right….

???: Come one pleeeease??? For me???

I couldn't refuse her pouting face and I just sighed nodding my head okay. She then extending her hand and intertwined with mine running to the ride.

???: YAYAYAA! I love you so much.

Present:

‘I love you’.... huh… but you never meant it. Since high school was over I have decided to leave all of my past behind. My whole high school years were just and drama anyways. With my two best friends, I will start anew and be happy. I walked towards the gate throwing my graduation flower pin in the trash and walked home. I guess I graduated right now… I thought back to all the things that happened and the girl I fell in love with. The girl that broke my heart and led me on so much. She already graduated a year ahead of me but all four years of high school was just trash. I smiled and pretend to be happy having with my friends. Chaeyoung and Dahyun, the people who have been close to me since freshmen year. Now after all these years I decided to throw everything away

3 months later

Chaeyoung: THERE! We are finally moved into the dorm!!!!

We finished moving and unpacking our stuff into our room. All we needed to do know it to organize everything and greet our tenant to officially move in. We all then collapse in the floor. I laughed and started smiling. But just then Dahyun sat up.

Dahyun: Hey we don't have any food yet right??? Lucky that this room has a kitchen so we can cook something. Let's go cook something!!!!

Chaeyoung: Yahh…. your cooking will burn this place down.

Dahyun: WELL YOU CAN'T COOK EITHER!!! Humph!~

Dahyun turned all pouty and then started to whine how hungry she was. I then got up and patterned the dirt off my hurt and pants.

Tzuyu: Why don't you two finish organizing everything and in return, I will go out to buy some groceries to cook you guys a meal.

They got up and started hugging me jumping for joy. Then instantly started cleaning and organizing. I couldn't help but chuckled and got ready to go outside. As I was about to leave, Chayeon ran up to me and handed me her debit card.

Chaeyoung: My parents dedicated this card for food necessities only and it's for you. My parents really loved you and can't thank you enough for being my friend.

Tzuyu: You know I can't take it right??? That's just not right.

Chaeyoung: I knew you would say that and I told them that. But they said that if you accept it you can feed me for them since they won't be visiting me often and they we worried that I won't eat properly.

I sighed and hesitantly took the card and thanked her. I made my way out and went to the nearest store to buy what we need.

Tzuyu: Hmmmm… We need some Toiletries and food as well as cleaning supplies. As for what to make… Tuna Kimbap sounds good!

I made it to the store and immediately bought all of the things also keeping in mind about the prices and sale items to limit my spendings. As I finished paying and made my way towards the dorms, a girl walked past me and she looked and sensed familiar. I didn't look closely and I didn't care at all to look back since it was probably my imagination. But just then… a voice reached out to me… a Voice I never want to hear again. A voice that left me broken and emotionless. A voice that can make me weak. Her voice…

???: C-Chewy???!!!

I turned and dropped my bags and stared at her. She died her hair back to Brown and it grew so much longer now… I trembled and could barely stand speak.

Tzuyu: S-Sana...-sumbae...
