As a celebration for Donghae's return and the lovely scenes of Hyukjae picking him up, we have decided to write and update!

Donghae sat up in flash, bringing sleeping Hyukjae up with him by accident. Hyukjae was half awake now, and he saw his mother standing at the door, “Mum?”

Donghae’s arm remained behind Hyukjae, and after she closed the door, Donghae spoke before she could, “Your son and I decided to go out together yesterday. I have never been in a relationship before, and I don’t know how it is going to work out, but your son is very special to me. He has also expressed that he has been in love with me for a bit of time now. I will ask your permission, but whether you disagree or agree, will not change the outcome. Legally, he is an adult and so am I. To be honest with you, I can protect him more than anyone else in his life has ever done.”

Hyukjae’s mother’s eyes were burning on Hyukjae’s face, “When were you intending to tell me this?”

Hyukjae’s eyes were full of tears, “Because your health is delicate… I was waiting for you to get better…”
 

Donghae interrupted him and said, “What about your health? Broken ribs, concussion, bruises… why doesn’t she care about your health?”

Hyukjae lowered his head and whispered, “Donghae… please...”

Donghae said loudly, “Please nothing! She left you alone, when you were more vulnerable than ever! She let you go outside the house without crutches because SHE wasn’t feeling very well, look at the state of your foot! It is all swollen because of the effort! When you love somebody, you protect them! But I only see protection from one side here.”

Hyukjae held his hand and squeezed it a bit, and said, “Can I… talk to my mum in private… please...”

Donghae moved his hand and put it on Hyukjae’s face, he dried the tears and kissed him on the forehead, “I will go buy something to eat, see you in a minute.”

He looked at Hyukjae’s mum and said in a monotone voice, “Mrs Lee.” before leaving.
