Donghae was so used to Hyukjae now, they still had their petty arguments, but apart from that they were very happy. Hyukjae still refused to go back to study until they put the people who assaulted him behind bars.

They also did the shopping together, the laundry together, and the shared some chores. Donghae still insisted they should do it , but Hyukjae has consistently refused to comply. He also follows Donghae around to prevent him from sitting his on chairs, sofas, or kitchen counters.

The house was always clean and tidy, Donghae always had dinner waiting for him, and on the weekends they went for short drives to the coast line. What did get Donghae into a fit was Hyukjae was freakishly tidy, and he not only followed Donghae’s around, but even when he was fully clothed, Hyukjae would make sure Donghae left things in the right place.

Donghae also managed to get an appointment with the psychologist for Hyukjae’s treatment. The day of the first visit, Donghae asked for the day off, and Hyukjae was sick in the morning, he was so nervous.

Donghae sat with him in the waiting room, until Hyukjae’s name was called. Donghae walked in front and Hyukjae was walking behind him, his head down and hands clenched together. The therapist waited until they sat down and he said, “I see you two come in a packet of two.”

Donghae, with a straight face, answered, “Yes we do, do you have a problem with that?”

Hyukjae was sitting there feeling sick and the therapist replied, “No, I don’t have a problem with that, whatever works for Hyukjae. First things first, my name is Sungmin, and I have been in this profession for 7 years. I love what I do, I was in the army for a while and from there I have met so many people who needed my help. I know Kyuhyun recommend me, he thinks a lot about Donghae. So many people think a lot about you Donghae, I wondered why Kyuhyun pleaded, please help the boyfriend of my superior! Because since this kid has appeared he has been so much easier to work with. This lead me to my theory, that you two have a beneficial relationship.”

He pointed at Hyukjae, “You are protected by Donghae, and you,” looking at Donghae, “feel powerful and need it.”
