“Shelter” [noun]: a place of rest, a place of peace

A Detailed Explorer’s Guide into the Unknown

When Jimin dreams, it’s more often nightmares than anything else. Which is why he prefers to rest in their home, quietly sitting at the empty couch, or sometimes looking out into the distant sea under a clear blue sky.

And sometimes he sees things worse than nightmares but sweeter than dreams.

‘I think I finally understand what he meant.’

‘Who?’

‘The GLA Officer who gave me the Android chip.’

‘What did he say?’

‘He told me that living is so much more than a heartbeat.’ Yoongi smiled at him from across the floor, leaning back on their bed.

‘What does it mean?’ Jimin had asked, looking away from the telescope-viewport and turning to face the Human.

‘Being with you,’ Yoongi had smiled, ‘I think that’s what it means to be alive.’

Settling back on his pillows, the light changes from warm and sunny to the soft dim artificial lights in his cabin.

Stretching out slowly, Jimin wakes up again with a dully aching heart despite the warm sunlight that bathes his dreams. But it’s familiar – the ache is familiar and Jimin supposes it’s never going to fully go away.

In a sense he doesn’t want it go away either.

He quietly pats at his face. The skin under his eyes feel stretchy and a little dry. He sighs quietly, turning slowly so as to not disturb the familiar outline he knows is near the foot of his bed.

Jungkook is asleep curled up into a ball, half a blanket covering his torso.

He’s grown. A lot. Much to their combined comic dismay. He towers over Namjoon now, shoulders broad, his resting stance is powerful and intimidating; his expression normally stoic and with an ever permanent frown between his brows. The natural bloody stain that seeps into his skin on his hands, back of his neck, around his eyes, and the joints of his body are duller but much more saturated with each passing sol. His teeth are sharper too, though he had considered having them reshaped because he felt they made him look too intimidating.

But like this, curled up, Jimin still sees the youngling he found in Ynqaba.

Asleep, his normally stoic face is soft and innocent.

He’s nursing a gash on his shoulder, the tissueplast peeking out from under the blanket. It’s not deep but it’s long and reaches down nearly his entire back. They had run out of medical supplies and though Jungkook healed faster than most, it was still causing him irritation and some pain.

Reaching around his pillow Jimin reaches for his screen and checks in on the ship’s update. They were about an hour away from Lowet; they should probably be getting up now. He’s surprised Hoseok hasn’t come to wake them up actually.

Jimin allows himself a short moment, curling his arms around the small yellow bundle pressed up to his chest. Gently, he runs his fingers over the fabric. To his dismay, some sols ago, he had noted that the fabric was starting to thin a little, parts of the edges a little frayed. He stopped pulling the blanket over his body and instead carefully rolled it up in a way where it wouldn’t put strain on the fabric but still be contained well enough to preserve it.

He only ever removes the blanket from a secure cabinet in his closet when he sleeps.

He’s better about sleeping now.

It took him a long while though.

Jimin would wake up crying- the force of his crying, his tears, stuffed nose and flailing desperate arms shaking him out of his sleep. Because every time he fell asleep, waking to his home, he would hear the door click shut faintly, warmth not his own seeped into the pillow next to his own; the sound of someone leaving.

He would jump out, desperate, slipping and running to the door and slamming against it, desperately trying to open it. But it wouldn’t budge. It won’t budge.

And so he slept and he slept.

Because right there, at the edge of sleep and waking, he can feel him.

His warmth is there, on the bed, next to him. As though just vacated- as though he had just missed him.

It haunts him.

His home is haunted and Jimin feels like the ghost, walking around over and over, crazed with heartache and an emptiness that seems endless. The sun is bright and warm but everything is cold and too exposed.

He can’t rest here. Not like this.

Each night he finds something changed- a book has been removed from the shelf, the frames rearranged- some of the photos are changed too. Sometimes the telescope is in the bedroom, positioned and set up to a fixed position.

Jimin is maddened- searching for clues, hints- any message.

Sometimes he’s woken up by Hoseok, alarm and worry on his face. Occasionally it’s Namjoon who sometimes reflected the same haunted emptiness back in his eyes.

But more often than not, it’s Jungkook.

Jungkook who follows him to every mission, in every flight, in every journey, into every meeting. Hoseok calls him Jimin’s personal bodyguard with a fond smile and Jungkook more or less admits to it though he doesn’t call himself that.

Jungkook who didn’t really laugh or smile unless it’s with them.

Jungkook who mourned for months, battling his own nightmares and tears.

Jungkook who learnt not to wake Jimin up, understanding his desperation and pain, and instead chose to simply curl up close to him.

The first time Jimin woke up to find the Vicitra at the foot of his bed he’s immediately worried. Momentary panic and concern flushing out the ache that pulsed throughout his body as he crawled up to the youngling.

‘Kookie? What’s wrong? Why are you here?’ he had asked, wondering if he was hurt.

Jungkook woke up groggily, taking a moment to gather his wherewithal before replying simply: ‘You were crying.’

‘Oh- I’m sorry for waking you,’ Jimin doesn’t know how loudly he cries. Maybe his health tab went on overdrive, which was what had initially drawn Hoseok and Namjoon to his room. ‘I’m sorry for worrying you.’

Jungkook just shakes his head.

‘It’s okay, I cry in my sleep sometimes too,’ he had admitted, looking up at Jimin, eyes pure and bright.

Jungkook was the only one who knew about Jimin’s dreams- the desperation, the pain, the manic rush. Jungkook shares his own- torrid gritty dirt, the smell of lightning, rain water rushing into his nose and mouth, of a phantom pain that occasionally blossoms on the back of his head, of a bright and beautiful star shattering the sky.

Sometimes, Jungkook crept into Jimin’s room to sleep at the foot of his bed because of his own grief and nightmares. Jimin has tried to move him from sleeping higher up on the bed, because curling up on the foot of his bed shouldn’t be comfortable but Jungkook always refuses, glancing at the yellow blanket and saying that the foot of the bed was completely fine.

His nightmares were slowly lessening too- at least as far as Jimin knows. Jungkook didn’t like to talk about it too much, and Jimin can no longer quite see as he once did. But he trusts that he was doing better now- at least they all were. With some time, with action, with each day, with each other.

Sitting up quietly Jimin rolls his neck and shoulders. He’s bruised here and there- nothing too intense. Jungkook had taken the brunt of sudden assault that awaited them during a trade. They were expecting it, but not quite with the ammunitions they suddenly had to deal with.

Namjoon had traced the origins of the weapons- shiny and new, recently distributed, and found that it lead straight to Isir’bti, a massive prison where the inmates were tasked with assimilating different goods for the GLA. This wouldn’t be an issue if it weren’t for the fact that Isir’bti made their weapons specifically for the officers of the Department of Planetary Relationships.

After leaving Megibīya, they threw themselves, heart and soul and mind, into rescuing the New Borns, as well as tracing the steps of each member of the Special Jury.

While S’ava Hhlai and Xmi were still missing to this day, they were able to track the others within a couple of sols.

The first Being they find is Lal Haenoon. In all honesty it wasn’t difficult to find him- it almost seemed as though he was simply waiting for them. In fact, he looks pleased to see them, merrily telling them that he did his part by finding Lmiura.

Who was dead.

He tells them that he was tracking her, as he found incriminating evidence regarding her involvement with Ndica, and found her dead.

It was apparently suicide and her body was already respectfully buried as per her cultural beliefs.

No one believes him for a second.

However, he happily tells them he’s washed his hands off of anything to do with their mission now that everything has been taken care of. Also the bonus that his personally selected Officer was now replacing Lmiura as Head of the Department of Planetary Relationships. He gives them the full list of officers who disappeared with Lmiura, stealing archived data and weaponry and other secrets before abandoning their Department.

This meant that even if Lmiura had died because she could no longer live with her pain I suppose the Beings who worked for her, and those who were ensnared by Ndica still, were out and about. No doubt fully aware of what they were doing and actively working to sabotage them.

Namjoon decides to investigate the matter straight away with Jaen and a few other of Ilya’s crew they became close with in Isir’bti. Most prisons were rarely updated on the changes of minor ranking within the GLA hierarchy or it happened very slowly, especially in the ones as ‘uncontrolled and volatile’ as Isir’bti, according to Namjoon while Hoseok nodded grimly behind him.

So their little crew is missing their Captain though Hoseok temporarily holds that title much to his discomfort and Jimin’s and Jungkook’s amusement. They never fail addressing him as their captain, using his full name with the title to add a little edge. It’s always funny seeing Hoseok squirm.

They would meet again in Lowet, before heading to the dead space behind Ymir.

Jungkook probably snuck in not only because of Jimin’s dreams but because of his own nightmares. They always intensified a few days before they would make the trip to go see Sk’jin.

Once the area was safe, and the asteroid belt slowly drifting into the safety that extended from Menigišiti, they collect the shimmering dust that was scattered permanently across the System and carefully contain it before making their journey to the planet that housed Sk’jin’s family.

His home.

Jungkook had led them, through the forests from the crashed and overtaken ship that Ilya recognizes instantly, pain and grief in his eyes. He guides them as though he walked through these forests himself before, straight into a deep quiet valley made of immense trees and their burrowing roots.

Buried and shelved into the gaps of these roots are resting hearts and minds, their peace immeasurable as Jungkook carefully lays down the container into a cubby made by the twisting roots at the bottom of this valley.

‘It’s okay,’ Namjoon had told them, but mostly to Jungkook who quietly cries where he’s kneeling. ‘He’s dreaming of us now.’

They don’t have a schedule around it- but they always go to see him everyone once in a while.

Namjoon had said to Jn’young it was for Jungkook, who never got to bury his family; that he had someone resting safely in a place he knew and could visit any time he wanted. No one mentions the fact that it was exactly the same for Namjoon himself.

So they would wait at Lowet, stock up on supplies, rest, before Namjoon returned. Ilya was also headed to Ymir, though he was headed to Ynqaba instead. He had said it was on personal business, but he might ask Hoseok to accompany him later on if things went well.

Hoseok seems to understand what Ilya meant and Jimin guesses that they will tell them once things have been looked over and verified.

After they were done there, they would set their coordinates to Megibīya to deliver the New Borns to Lim.

K’mara had done her part. By taking over the “investigation” of the planet, and of Amme’s death there, she excludes every single report that has to do with Jimin and Menigišiti and the mission. The cover-up is effective, for now, and Megibīya, as well as all of Menigišiti, is still protected by the Treaty.

Axudar on another hand is in chaos.

With the Yisheng Directory losing what little authority they once had within the higher authorities of the GLA, there wasn’t much that could be done to revive what was left of the three planets that made up the ruined System. There was some rumor that the planets would be purposefully lead to decay and converted into prisons or manufacturing estates.

It’s a miserable business.

Jimin still met with Lim once in a while, getting updates on how things were working out in Menigišiti. Not much had changed in terms of the integrity of the System and how it functioned and balanced itself; rather it seemed to be easing a little, the turbulence of music that wove itself through the planets quieting into a hum of a lullaby.

The New Borns were being settled in well- as well as the GI who chose to remain at Menigišiti. So far 82 of the New Borns were awakening out of the many thousands they recovered from Megibīya.

Everything was going as smoothly as they could manage. Considering how, of course, the Underverse got a wind of what was happening and tried to trade New Borns for units or information. Those were always tense and left a bad taste in all of their mouths.

But for now, at least today, Jimin is looking forward to rest.

He loved Lowet.

It wasn’t a perfect planet by any means and like every planet, internal issues were rife. But there’s a atmosphere to the planet that feels peaceful and welcoming. Somehow, Jimin always feels settled and at ease in Lowet.

Hey, you’re awake?’

‘Yeah,’ Jimin replies, stretching a little again.

‘Ilya says they’ve arrived at Ynqaba already,’ Hoseok tells them. ‘I’ll be taking off pretty soon after we land.’

‘Okay,’ Jimin replies, ‘I’m coming up.’

‘Is Kookie with you?’

‘Yeah,’ Jimin smiles at the curled up form.

‘Okay, I think Ilya mentioned a few of Jungkook’s friend have already landed and are waiting for us.’

Jimin grins, ‘I’ll tell him.’

Naturally, they grow close to Ilya and his crew. Crews. There were many after all. While they didn’t quite state it, Jimin knows that Ilya is more than willing to bring them into his network. But they quite liked being here like this, just them, together on their ship.

However they do engage with Ilya and his network frequently not just for their missions but also for Jungkook.

Almost as though they were all Jungkook’s parents, they do everything they can to ensure and promote a healthy social basis for the naturally shy and awkward Vicitra. They don’t rush of course. Slowly integrating social interactions that weren’t just meetings about their missions, but casual talks and gatherings.

First it’s with Ilya and Jn’young and Jaen. Later E’nid joins them, and some more Beings around Jungkook’s age.

To their surprise, Jungkook starts up, on his own, talking to Camil. Camil had been making a slow recovery alongside some of his closer friends. Clearly getting into a physical fight was one way of overcoming any awkwardness.

So Jungkook makes good friends with Camil, who decides he wants to change his name, and a few others. Jimin, Namjoon, and Hoseok always smile to each other when they spy the Vicitra chatting along with his friends when they meet in between missions.

As though he knew he was being talked about, Jungkook stirs slowly and then wakes up all at once. Sitting up straight, alert and aware, Jungkook scans the room first out of learnt habit before relaxing a little and smiling at Jimin.

They don’t have to talk about it.

‘We’re almost at Lowet,’ Jimin tells him instead, getting out of bed, flexing his ankles and feet and toes before setting his feet down. He still prefers not to wear shoes but they’re practical in many places.

‘Okay- I’m hungry,’ he frowns.

Jimin laughs as Jungkook sniffs the air before declaring: ‘Taeh’yung’s here?’

Jimin looks at him bewildered.

‘I’m not sure?’ he answers before asking Hoseok, ‘Hobi, is Taeh’yungie here?’

‘Uh- not to my knowledge no?’ Hoseok replies before mumbling, ‘Great did he sneak in and steal my clothes again.’

Jimin snorts.

Taeh’yung came and went at his own pleasure. The first time he came into the ship while they were in warp they all freaked out. For at least 10 minutes. Now they don’t even blink when he casually appears through their ship walls no matter where they are.

Sometimes the Zhak’gri appeared with a great collection of New Borns, sometimes he would be asleep in some formless abstract state on Hoseok’s bed. Sometimes he would just drop in and join them for weeks, eating loads, telling them strange stories of where he’s been. Each time he appeared he looked different and yet perfect as himself.

He also liked to snuggle in with them in bed, wiggling his cold toes up their pajamas for fun. Namjoon has forbidden him from doing this but Taeh’yung simply ignores it much to Namjoon’s silent and comic dismay.

Once Jimin woke up to Taeh’yung next to him, holding the yellow blanket and seemingly talking to it.

It nearly broke Jimin, begging the Zhak’gri to tell him if he was speaking to Yoongi. If he could hear him.

‘I hear him in you all the time.’ Was what he had said instead, gently prodding his chest, right over his heart.

It was both comforting, but a reminder of how haunted he felt.

‘HE’S STOLEN MY UNDERWEAR AGAIN-!’ Hoseok screams.

Jungkook falls off of the bed laughing, wincing as he nurses his wound.

‘CAN’T HE JUST BUY HIS OWN!’

Wheezing, Jungkook leans in to press his forehead against Jimin’s, nose wrinkling adorably before heading out, calling for Hoseok to borrow his underwear anytime he wanted.

‘YOU CAN TELL TAEH’YUNG THAT!’

Smiling to himself, Jimin picks up the yellow bundle from next to his pillow and tucks it in carefully into the secret and secure compartment in his closet.

By the time he’s showered and changed and at the Bridge, Lowet is looming ahead of them; Jimin spies mountain ranges and ridges far below the stretch of clouds. Jungkook is standing by the Navigation Table, helping Hoseok with the landing process. He was learning how to Navigate, as well as learn how to fly which he took to much more naturally than Navigating.

‘There’s an unseasonal heat wave passing through the southern hemisphere,’ Hoseok tells him, ‘Be careful and don’t get a heat !’

‘Understood Captain Hoseok!’ Jimin chimes just as Hoseok’s eyes widen in apprehension.

Groaning Hoseok quickly shoos Jimin into his seat.

Landing is easy and goes smoothly. There’s no need to alert them on the heat wave when Jimin can clearly see the heat mirages that rise up from around the central city.

In the past many sols the city has expanded and grown. There were now 2 docking zones instead of a make-shift one and the river canal system had been updated and expanded and was now the most commonly used mode of transport.

They land and dock their ship, sending orders on specific updates and repairs on the exterior of the ship.

‘Lisai, activate complete security,’ Hoseok calls as they exit.

The wall of heat that hits them makes them all wince and snort a little.

‘Wow- well, I’m actually gonna miss being dry,’ Hoseok groans, ‘Ynqaba is going through their own storm season.’

‘Have fun Captain Hoseok!’ Jungkook trills.

Jungkook never attempts to return back to Ynqaba. He doesn’t quite express it in words, but no one questions him either. He was haunted by it nonetheless.

‘Let’s go!’ Jungkook beams down at Jimin, looking excited to spend some time with his friends.

Jimin didn’t have much to do once they were in Lowet. He was thinking of spending it watching over the ship repairs and filling in on their inventory and ordering from the Flotsam and Jetsam. But Jungkook whined a little, saying that they were gonna meet up at Ka-Yee’s repairs shop at the Smithies District.

They were all good friends with Ka-Yee, the Kutsoglerin who repaired Namjoon’s arm and eye when he had been kidnapped by Prat’tna. Jimin guesses it’s better for him to go and talk to someone rather than linger around the ship in silence. Not that he minded. He enjoyed it most times, but today he guesses he can do something else for a change.

They hop on a boat and zip through the canal until they reach the Smithies District. The air smells metallic and somehow it feels hotter here. They pause to buy some iced drinks before making the walk through the District to Ka-Yee’s shop.

He’s expanded his shop a little from the first time Jimin came here. There’s a new display out front and another level added to the top of the store.

‘Aye! Welcome!’ he calls cheerily the moment he spots them from inside the store. ‘It’s cool in here, get out of the heat you’re baking!’

They’re dragged in amid smiles and welcoming calls from the other smithies in his shop.

There’s a loud roar of cheering as Jungkook’s friend descend down upon him. Jungkook turns back to grin at Jimin and wave before he’s dragged away upstairs which he learns is more of a resting lounge area as well as training workshop for young mechanics and smithies who wish to learn the Kutsoglerin technique.

Jimin spends some time catching up with Ka-Yee who rapidly complains about the heat and the weather and informing Jimin on some local town gossip. Jimin is on his second ice-drink when, unexpectedly, Jn’young appears through the doorway.

He nearly chokes on his drink when Ka-Yee lets out a delighted greeting, rushing up to the Khol’isa and hugging him tight. He lifts him in the process and it’s funny because Jn’young is about a foot taller than Ka-Yee but there’s a reason why the Kutsoglerin doesn’t own a single tunic with sleeves.

‘Jn’youngie!’ he beams, taking his hands in his own, ‘So nice to see you again! If I knew you were coming I would have come picked you up at the Dock!’

Jimin’s eyebrows are so high up on his forehead he’s surprised they haven’t pushed into his hairline.

Jimin has never seen Jn’young blush, but here right now, right in front of his iced-muntala drink, the Khol’isa is pink-cheeked as he tries to appear unaffected by Ka-Yee, clearing his throat and actively avoiding eye-contact with anyone and everyone. But he’s not moving away from Ka-Yee, in fact he’s holding his hand back.

Jimin is positively vibrating. He has to tell someone.

Spaces, did Ilya know? He’s cackling internally and hopes he’s schooled his expression a little as Jn’young throws him a desperate look as though saying please forget what you’re seeing.

Jimin is memorizing every second in minute detail.

‘It’s so hot, come in away from the heat,’ Ka-Yee beams, shuffling Jn’young towards where Jimin was doing his best to look casual.

Jimin watches as Ka-Yee seats Jn’young opposite Jimin and immediately sidles up to the Khol’isa, leaning in to dab at Jn’young’s dry forehead. His eyes are wide with awe as he looks at Jn’young’s double-helix horns before looking down at the Khol’isa and smiling in a way that makes even Jimin blush.

‘So, Jn’young, here to look into some repairs?’ Jimin asks, mostly for the Khol’isa’s sake because no one should be that red.

‘Actually here to uh, look for some hybrid Kutsoglerin medication,’ Jn’young blurts out. ‘Not the usual type.’

‘Anything for you,’ Ka-Yee stands up at once before looking over at Jimin, ‘Does Namjoonie need a restock?’

‘That would actually be great yeah,’ Jimin nods quickly.

‘Be right back- don’t leave!’ he points at Jn’young before rushing away.

Jn’young levels Jimin with a stare to which Jimin smiles back serenely.

‘Do you want an iced-muntala drink too? It’s very refreshing!’ Jimin tells the Khol’isa.

Jn’young narrows his eyes at him, red sparkling in a way that’s amused and embarrassed.

Ka-Yee returns in a flurry.

‘Here, for Namjoonie,’ he delivers a flat packet to Jimin. ‘And did you say hybrid? Tell me more so I know how to set up the meds.’

Ka-Yee leans in over the table to look up at Jn’young who clears his throat, smile forcing itself onto his lips even though he’s trying to remain professional.

‘Well,’ Jn’young throws Jimin a look- either for help or to leave and Jimin will actually gladly do both, ‘Uh-‘

‘I’m gonna do some sight-seeing!’ Jimin declares, taking the medication and pocketing it. ‘Do you have a good suggestion?’

‘Oh!’ Ka-Yee exclaims, ‘What kind of place? The parks are really nice- and! The Art District! Remember Jn’youngie?’

Jn’young’s eyes widen just a tad bit.

‘I was thinking somewhere nice and open,’ Jimin supplies, doing his best not to laugh.

‘Oh,’ Ka-Yee slaps his hand over his thigh, ‘There’s this place Namjoon likes to visit- he said it’s peaceful and quiet- it’s not a local attraction or anything though.’

Jimin just shrugs.

Ka-Yee pulls out his screen, ‘It’s called Lobiaai- the shores that border the grasslands before the Flats.’

Jimin might as well. And the name sounds familiar.

‘Isn’t that where the GI hid?’ Jn’young asks, leaning in with interest, shoulder brushing against Ka-Yee’s. The Kutsoglerin looks very pleased and giddy.

So that’s why it sounded familiar. Jimin realizes he’s never been there. Where the GI hid for many sols, where Prat’tna lived. For a moment he hesitates.

‘I have a good buddy there- he can give you a tour if you want,’ Ka-Yee tells him as he holds up his screen ready to transfer directions to him. ‘His name is Mėnulis. He actually lives in the Lobiaai shores, his whole family has for ages. He’s one of them New Borns actually- he could show you around and take you to where the GI are staying.’

Jimin takes the coordinates, opening it on the foremost tab on his own screen.

‘Thank you,’ he smiles at the Kutsoglerin. ‘If it’s not on this peninsula, do I need to show documentation?’

‘No don’t worry about it- it’s actually apart of the legal boundaries of the peninsula,’ Ka-Yee explains. ‘There’s a boating service too! So just take that one and you’re set. I think it’s number 13, but check again to make sure.’

‘I will,’ Jimin smiles, ‘You guys enjoy your time together!’

Jn’young sends an alarmingly sweet smile his way, eyes burning.

Internally cackling Jimin heads upwards to come across Jungkook and his friends enthusiastically and loudly partaking in some sort of game. He watches for a while, smiling at the youngling who was clearly having so much fun.

There’s a short break and Jungkook has already seen him- probably smelt him, and he immediately makes his way to him.

‘Jimin! You wanna join?’

‘No I’m good!’ Jimin tells him, reaching up to cup his face in his hand, ‘I actually came to tell you I’m gonna go do some touristy things.’

‘I’ll come,’ Jungkook says at once.

‘No Kookie- have fun with your friends! It’s just to the shores.’ Jimin reassures the youngling- though not a youngling for long really. ‘Ka-Yee gave me the coordinates, and it’s a place Namjoon visits. Don’t worry.’

Jungkook looks hesitant.

‘It’s fine,’ Jimin repeats with a laugh, ‘Go on- go back and have fun.’

Jungkook frowns but he’s also looking back, clearly very confused.

Jimin pushes him gently.

‘Come on- go win something.’

‘I am winning,’ Jungkook whines.

‘No he’s not!’ someone calls from behind.

‘I will!’ Jungkook growls but there’s no threat or aggression in it. His friends make ooh-ing sounds.

‘How about you come pick me up in 5 hours?’ Jimin offers, ‘Just ask Ka-Yee for the coordinates.’

‘Okay!’ Jungkook looks relieved.

‘All right- don’t dehydrate or something!’ Jimin waves before waving at the others in the room as well.

‘Be careful!’ Jungkook calls.

Outside in the sweltering heat, Jimin decides he will very much indulge in being a tourist. He normally doesn’t get time to really visit another planet like this. And when they did have time, he just liked to rest: to just dream.

He checks the boats and finds that it was just as Ka-Yee said and he hops on boat 13 and heads to Lobiaai.

There were a few GI who still lived in Lobiaai if Jimin isn’t mistaken.

They had started a sort of rehabilitation program for the GI, to help them integrate into society. So far it was working quite well, all though it would still be many many sols before they would be living outside in society by themselves. For now, living within many of Ilya’s extensive network bases seemed like a good slow start. Nothing too jarring- they would still have missions, and would slowly learn to work and live together with others.

The sea is calm and refreshing- it sprays over them several times as the wind picks up and there’s salt on Jimin’s lips and between his fingers.

He inhales deeply, closing his eyes and enjoying the warmth out here in the open sea.

Lobiaai appears quite quickly. It hasn’t changed much, according to what Jimin pieces together with information from the boatman. Somehow Jimin likes that notion.

The dock here is smaller and made nearly entirely out of driftwood. The ropes are braided grass, bleached white by the sun and salt.

It’s peaceful here- Jimin can sense it at once. No wonder Namjoon liked coming here.

No one looks twice at him as he passes them, all busy with their duties and task. There’s a small group of children and a few adults at the far end of the shore under some low cliffs. Jimin hears their laughter sometimes crossing over through the waves.

He doesn’t immediately notice anyone who could be GI- and Jimin can say he has a good eye for them.

The village here is rather sleepy, Jimin notes. In a pleasant way- where the inhabitants aren’t preoccupied by anything more threatening than a sudden rain storm. He walks through the cobbled pathways between the dome houses, sniffing the air here and there as wafts of different smells filter through.

He lingers at a garden area for a while. At the public well he asks for directions for Mėnulis’s house and he’s directed towards the far end of the village close to a narrow bay area.

Not in any hurry, Jimin strolls through the streets, the sun less intense here.

Mėnulis’s house isn’t much different from the other houses in the village. A few houses had certain attachments or added fixtures and Mėnulis seemed to have an attached workroom to the side. Jimin rounds about the compound before coming across the door to the workshop. He pauses though, smiling at the potted plants that are scattered everywhere across the compound and sandstone fencing separating the compound from the sandy shoreline.

The view is peaceful and Jimin wishes he could sit on the bench in the corner and maybe nap. But he wanted to find out more about the GI here so he turns to the workshop again.

The door is open, clearly to allow the breeze in. Mėnulis was some sort of mechanic, judging by the odd bits of items here and there.

‘Excuse me?’ he calls, ‘Is anyone home?’

There’s no response.

Gingerly he steps inside, looking in carefully.

The workshop is sunlit by the skylights overhead illuminating several large worktables and benches. The shelves are laden with machinery and tools and other devices. Generators and transformers stand at one corner. Several OrTanks, the type that held New Borns, are also there.

Without thinking about it, Jimin walks up to the OrTanks.

There’s 4 of them- all in varying levels of wear and tear. But they’re all quite old. Jimin knows that there were quite a lot of these OrTanks throughout the planet- but so far they weren’t quite able to find a proper source. At least that’s what Namjoon had told him.

On closer inspection, the workshop has personal items scattered all around. Extra tunics, notebooks, screens, empty cups and bottles, toys and dolls- so younglings lived in this house too. Several kinds of shoes were stacked under one bench as well, a half finished bundle of rope coiled up in one place, an incomplete wood carving half-covered by a sheet.

Shuffling footsteps alert Jimin of someone nearby. Quickly he steps towards the doorway again. He hears the sound of tap water- someone washing up clearly. Politely, he waits by the doorway again before calling out again.

‘Excuse me?’

There’s spluttering and Jimin grins to him.

‘Uh- yeah?’ a hacking voice calls out, clearly surprised. His Standard is accented.

‘Hi, I uh- Ka-Yee sent me here to you?’ Jimin tries, ‘I’m a friend of Namjoon’s?’

Hopefully this Mėnulis knew who Namjoon was.

‘One sec-!’ the voice replies, still strained from the sudden choking.

Jimin politely stands, arms behind his back, as the water continue for a moment before it stops. Footsteps approach again, they sound a little uneven as though he was limping slightly, and-

‘Hi, I’m so sorry I went to deliver a coolant which ended up erupting-‘

Everything stops.

‘-and that took forever but uh yeah- you’re Joon’s friend?’

‘I-…yeah-‘ Jimin isn’t sure how he’s speaking- he certainly wasn’t in control. He’s not even sure if he was blinking- or if he was awake.

‘Hey, woah, are you okay-?’

‘Yoongi-?’ Jimin manages to faintly gasp out before everything spins and the next thing he knows he’s on the ground.

The seas roar around him, rushing through the windows. The curtains sway, the breeze pushing them over his sleeping form and there- just beyond the sound of the sea, beyond the sound of the breeze, he can hear him breathe, he can hear him-

‘-oh , hey- hey are you okay?’

His house fades away and his sight focuses on Yoongi again.

Yoongi is the same- though there are some changes here and there.

He’s not as skinny, his built heavier and filled out, broad around the shoulders, a softness around his jaws and cheeks. His skin isn’t scarred- rather it’s freckled and sun-damaged. His hair is just as dark but sun-bleached at random- much longer too. His eyes-

‘Hey, can you hear me?’

His voice is nearly entirely the same- just lighter, not laced with exhaustion or fatigue of existing in a time not meant for him.

‘,’ he curses, pushing back damp hair before repositioning himself and pulling back Jimin’s eyelids.

He’s real.

Jimin gasps- heaving breaths into desperate lungs that have been starved for so long, skin searing with something beyond pain-

‘Hey, it’s okay- you’re okay, I got you-‘

Jimin is heaving, uncontrollable and violent, eyes never moving from him, from Yoongi.

‘-I just need to get you of this heat okay? I’m gonna move you okay?’

Jimin doesn’t know if he’s responding- his eyes blurring with tears that he tries to shake off- he can’t miss a second- he can’t miss this he won’t he-

‘I got you.’

Yoongi half carries him inside, grunting a little as he descends the stairs before depositing Jimin on a wide bench pushed up on a wall.

‘You need to lie down- you’re dehydrated and the heat is-‘

Jimin wishes he could reach out and hold him but his body won’t listen to him.

‘-happens a lot to tourist- hey you’re in pain? - just wait a second let me go get-‘

With a wretched cry, Jimin shakes his head, lurching forward and falling to the ground.

The shock of it shakes him completely. Everything rushes back to him and he can feel, he can see, he can hear.

‘Woah, you need to throw up? It’ll make you feel better-‘

Purposefully inhaling slowly and steadily, Jimin forms fists with his hands, kneeling on the ground, head touching the cool tiled floors.

There’s awkward pats on his back.

‘Hey you’re doing good- just keep breathing like that yeah? You’re okay, you’re doing good.’

He’s so gentle, his voice reassuring even though he’s obviously panicked and confused.

‘Tourists tend to get heat around here- and this heat wave hasn’t been the best either,’ Yoongi is rambling, clearly trying to distract him. ‘Climate change has been kinda intense- we’re hoping that by converting the energy panels to be powered by the sea water we can reduce the damages-‘

Slowly, Jimin lifts his head, pushing himself up a little.

‘Okay, take it easy,’ Yoongi says calmly, ‘No need to rush right? At your own pace.’

Blinking hard, Jimin slowly looks to the side and up at Yoongi.

He was so real.

‘Hey,’ he smiles, gums showing, ‘Wow, really had me worried there. Feeling a little better?’

Blinking tears out of his eyes, Jimin manages to nod slowly.

‘Good, good- okay I’m gonna go get something cool for you to drink, you just- uh,’ Yoongi crouches to standing position slowly, as though worried Jimin might freak out again. ‘-slowly sit up and lean back okay?’

Jimin guesses he’s nodded because Yoongi smiles reassuringly at him again before quickly exiting the workshop.

Swallowing thickly, Jimin gladly welcomes the buzzing in his ear to permeate through his thoughts.

That was Yoongi. Without a doubt, that was Yoongi.

He wasn’t hallucinating him- this wasn’t some incredible look alike.

That was Min Yoongi from Earth.

Footsteps return and this time Jimin allows himself to look properly.

Yoongi comes back. He’s clearly favouring his left leg as he walks- his limp only very slight. He’s maybe a little taller. He’s carrying a cup and a container in his hands before he comes to kneel by Jimin’s side. His eyes are looking over him, clearly checking to see if he had any injuries.

‘Here you go- drink slowly yeah? Too much and you’ll throw up and that’s more dehydration.’

Unable to tear his eyes away, Jimin takes the extended cup and drinks without really being aware of anything. Jimin knows he’s being weird- that he’s very much indeed alarming this Being.

‘You said you were a friend of Joon- Namjoon’s?’

He has a nickname for him. How long has Namjoon known?

Jimin nods.

‘Ah- and you’re here to look in at the GI?’ Yoongi is repeating Jimin’s statement, as though by doing so will help him ground himself. And it works a little.

‘Y-yeah.’

Yoongi doesn’t look away from Jimin’s stare- doesn’t seem uncomfortable or alarmed really.

‘You’re working with the New Borns? Taking them back to safety- you’re a part of Joon’s team,’ he says it more like a statement than a question.

Jimin nods.

‘Did-…did you know me?’ he asks quietly after a while.

Jimin doesn’t know how to answer.

‘Joon told me, that there were like, 2 others, like me, before,’ Yoongi tells him, ‘I mean- I’m not really surprised, being uh, New Born, and all of that…’

He trails off, clearly expecting Jimin to add to the until now one-sided conversation.

‘-so uh, you knew, someone else- well, another me? Joon said he did,’ he grimaces, as though unsure how to address the fact that there was a potential for multiples of him. And honestly Jimin has never really considered this as a possibility after everything happened.

‘Yeah,’ Jimin manages to say, though it’s barely audible. ‘Yeah I did.’

Yoongi nods gravely at that.

‘And he-…?’

But it’s like he knows the answer. As though he was putting 2 and 2 together.

‘He died,’ Jimin manages to whisper.

And Jimin buried him himself.

It took a while, making all the necessary arrangements. They were able to trace his descendants- at least, his sister’s, who after all this time and all that happened, were somehow still in existence. Getting into contact with them to explain the situation had been daunting- but to their luck, or maybe a strange display of fate, the last surviving direct descendent from Min Chaewon was a member of Ilya’s Network.

She gave them immediate permission to use the old family mausoleum situated in Mars.

They bury him in the already existing empty space designated for him next to his sister.

‘I’m sorry.’

Jimin hasn’t gone back since.

‘I-…do you want me to call someone?’

Jimin shakes his head, taking a deep breath and closing his eyes.

‘How- how long have you known Namjoon?’

‘Uh- honestly for as long as I remember- since I was a kid,’ Yoongi replies, readjusting his legs and sitting on the floor across Jimin. ‘You want another cup?’

Jimin shakes his head again, slumping back on the bench and opening his eyes again.

Yoongi is still looking at him worriedly, eyebrows a little pinched.

‘Yeah, uh, I’ve known Joon since I was a kid. He was close with my, uh, mother,’ Yoongi explains. ‘They used to work together in regards with the GI? Yeah, and I’ve sort of taken over for now.’

‘Oh,’ Jimin manages to get out.

They sit in silence for a while, just looking at each other.

Jimin can’t stop the tears that stream steadily from his eyes, and Yoongi seems to be regarding him back with some level of intrigue. He opens his mouth, as though to say something but then stops himself.

‘I’m sorry,’ Jimin manages to get out.

‘What? No, no- don’t be, how could you have known? I mean-,’ he gesticulates in the air at random, ‘It’s-…I can’t imagine what you’re feeling.’

Jimin dabs at his face with his sleeves, trying to stop.

‘I uh-,’ he stammers out, ‘I’ll just- I’ll try to stop-‘

‘Hey it’s okay- just, just cry,’ Yoongi tells him in a soft reassuring tone, ‘Do you want me to call someone? Should I call Ka-Yee?’

‘No no,’ Jimin pushes his face into his hands, ‘Just- just give me a minute- I’ll be okay. Just- I’ll be okay.’

Yoongi continues to sit with him on the floor until Jimin manages to somehow get himself into a state that wasn’t shaking and crying. Yoongi smiles tentatively at him.

Jimin manages to smile back.

Carefully, and slowly, Jimin follows Yoongi back out of the workshop and into a part of the village that’s a little newer than the rest closer to the shore. The houses look the same, the traditional dome-shaped homes that burrowed underground. Yoongi explains how there were altogether 14 GI living here in the Lobiaai Shores, and 2 more New Borns who were, like him, raised as family by the locals.

When Yoongi walks up ahead of him, Jimin spies the dent on his back.

‘I was washed up shore,’ Yoongi tells him as they pause by crop patch. The GI who was maintaining that patch waves studiously at them. Jimin smiles and waves back. ‘Half-drowned. I was lucky, very lucky, that I was found.’

‘How was it?’ Jimin asks, genuinely curious to know more. In fact, all he wants to do is sit down and drink in everything Yoongi had to say.

‘I was found during an eclipse.’

Jimin’s breath is stuck in his throat.

‘It’s why there were people at the cliffs,’ Yoongi turns and points towards the low cliffs, ‘That’s where I was found. They wanted to observe the eclipse- if it weren’t the case, I don’t think I’d be here now.’

‘I see,’ Jimin whispers out, eyes pooling with tears.

‘Uh-,’ Yoongi starts with alarm at the sight of tears again, ‘Well- I guess that’s why I was given this name and all- quite fitting and all that.’

‘What does it mean?’ Jimin asks, trying to be discreet as he dabs at his eyes again.

‘I guess in Standard it translates more or less to moonlight.’

Yoongi is on full panic mode as more tears appear. The GI who was observing them gives Jimin a small towel before he slumps down on the ground, leaning on the sandy stone wall.

‘I’m sorry,’ Yoongi says again, squatting down next to Jimin, ‘I- this is difficult for you, I can ask someone else to give you the tour and explain-‘

That’s when Jimin notices it.

‘What’s this?’ he asks instead.

‘Hm?’ Yoongi looks around confused.

Carefully, with his right hand, he points at Yoongi’s left hand, to the identical thin black line circling his second finger.

‘Oh!’ Yoongi’s face transforms, a sheepish and pleased smile taking over.

‘Well- I’ve actually uh- it’s a bit of a long-winded story,’ he tells him, ‘But well, I mean I knew I wasn’t from here- from the beginning. And when I was able to read and really understand more, I looked into what Humans were, what I was- what I am.’

Jimin nods.

‘I found out a lot of interesting things- and also like, random facts I guess?’ Yoongi makes a funny face before laughing, ‘Anyways, well- so, you know how I was uh found, and all that- well, Saulės, they were the one who originally found me while playing by the cliff rocks.’

‘Oh,’ Jimin can hear the difference in the way he says that name.

‘I mean, long story very short, uh, in Standard, I guess you could say we’re married?’

Jimin smiles at that, a breathless gasp quietly escaping him.

‘And when we were kids- it was…I just guess I knew, that it would always be Saulės, in everything, for everything- for uh, for always,’ he looks down, shy and embarrassed. ‘And I wanted to-…you know when you’re a kid, you’re a little dumb? Reckless? I wanted to establish us- it was dumb, but I read, how in an era of Earth’s history rings were symbolic of marriage.’

Jimin’s heart aches; the light pressure of the fountain pen, the small secretive smile, soft lips pressing over his knuckles.

‘I was a youngling barely 16 summers past, I thought rings were too temporary and decided on ink instead, and I asked Saulės to marry me and we both got this tattooed,’ he wiggles his finger with a gummy grin, ‘Nearly got skinned alive.’

Jimin smiles widely at that, eyes welling up again and Yoongi is panicking again.

‘So uh- yeah, uh, Human things I guess.’ He stands up, dusting his trousers. ‘We uh, we can go look at the observatory if you want-‘

There’s a pattering of small footsteps running towards them and a shrill cry of ‘ADA!’

A small figure runs past Jimin in a blur, colliding with Yoongi who catches the youngling with a bright laugh.

‘You little grub-‘ he shakes the youngling a little before selling them on his hip.

‘Sviesu-! Ah look’s like he found you.’

Jimin stands up properly and turns to look at the figures approaching them.

One of them is Jungkook, eyes wide and mouth in a thin line, expression filled with turmoil. But he’s not surprised. He locks eyes with Jimin, looking at him with worry and hurt.

Looking away from Jungkook, Jimin focuses on the other Being-

‘Is this your friend?’ they ask, smiling at Jimin, eyes turning into crescents in the process.

‘Yes, thank you Saulės.’ Jungkook replies.

Jimin can’t stop staring.

‘Oh,’ Yoongi walks over to greet Jungkook with a smile and nod. ‘You’re also Namjoon’s friend?’

Jungkook nods tersely, jaw ticking.

‘I came to pick you up,’ Jungkook tells Jimin but he can’t seem to look away from Yoongi. ‘You weren’t answering your Device.’

‘Oh- uh, sorry Kookie, I was-‘

‘Yeah.’

Yoongi puts Sviesu down and he’s saying, ‘Oh, Jimin this is Saulės-‘ when Jungkook suddenly steps forward and engulfs Yoongi in a hug.

‘Oh- uh,’ Yoongi’s eyes widen, throwing looks of confusion at Jimin and Saulės who hovers, unsure what to do or how to react.

And just as suddenly as he hugged him, Jungkook lets go and steps away, not looking the Human in the eye.

‘Um- well, yeah,’ he manages to get out.

‘Yoo- Mėnulis,’ Jimin stammers, ‘This is Jungkook. He’s my close friend- and yes, a friend of Namjoon’s too.’

‘Nice to meet you,’ Yoongi’s tone is gentle, looking at the tall youngling with an understanding look in his eyes.

Jungkook nods in reply.

‘This is Saulės,’ he smiles as he holds his hand out. ‘My partner.’

Jimin beams, nodding and performing the local greeting. He hopes his eyes aren’t tearing up too much or was too noticeable.

He’s clearly failing, judging by Saulės’s looks of concern as they take Yoongi’s hand.

‘And this is Sviesu, our youngling,’ Yoongi looks down at the youngling, nudging him a little, ‘Say hi little grub.’

Twisting into Saulės’s tunic, the youngling shy waves at Jimin.

The small family give them the final parts of the tour. Sviesu takes an instant liking to Jungkook, wanting to climb up onto his shoulders. Jungkook easily picks up the child and settles them on his shoulders after reassuring Saulės that it was no trouble and that he would be careful.

The rest of the tour is smooth and Jimin meets every GI living there. Jimin doesn’t only listen, but he also updates Yoongi on what’s been happening so far, and the New Borns they’ve found, as well as a new mission regarding a strange case about a New Born Yisheng.

‘Thank you,’ Jimin says as they round back to the dock. A boat was approaching from the distance. ‘For taking the time out to be our guide.’

‘Not at all,’ Yoongi smiles, ‘Like I told Joon, I would love to help. In anyway I can. I mean, how can I not? I’m a part of all of this too, I always will be.’

‘Thank you for taking care of them, for- for giving them a home here,’ Jimin says, looking at Saulės, ‘Your home is beautiful. It’s…it’s everything I’ve wanted to feel.’

Yoongi gives him a sad smile.

But this isn’t Yoongi.

This was Mėnulis. This was Mėnulis, and Saulės, and Sviesu.

The small family wave the last time before walking back the way they came.

Jimin and Jungkook watch them in silence, the sun low on the horizon and pulling long shadows from them.

‘Saulės looks like you,’ Jungkook says quietly.

He did. And he didn’t as well.

‘You knew about- about Mėnulis?’ Jimin asks instead.

‘No,’ Jungkook replies, ‘Namjoon told me before I got here.’

Sviesu runs off for a moment to the side, and Mėnulis and Saulės pause, watching their youngling. Mėnulis clearly says something funny because Saulės laughs, their laughter quietly making its way down to them at the dock.

It makes Jimin smile automatically.

‘Their happiness is beautiful.’

Mėnulis takes Saulės by the chin gently before pressing a soft and light kiss on their forehead. Saulės’s eyes close at once, a wide smile forming almost immediately, features relaxing and shoulders lowering

‘Your health-tab went crazy and you weren’t answering your Device,’ Jungkook tells him. ‘I came as quickly as I could and when Namjoon got wind of what was happening, he told me about- about Mėnulis.’

The small family disappear behind the dome houses.

‘I was- I was sort of prepared but- but then uh, Saulės threw me off completely.’

‘Yeah.’

The boat ride back is silent.

‘Are you okay?’ Jungkook asks finally as they walk up to their ship.

At the entrance to the Hangar Jimin spies Namjoon waiting for them, clearly with an explanation and the reason why he didn’t tell Jimin or anyone else it seems.

But Jimin doesn’t mind, now that he’s here.

‘I think I am now,’ Jimin replies truthfully.

Jungkook gives him an inquiring look.

‘I think I know now,’ Jimin tells him.

‘Know what?’

Jimin glances up at the slowly darkening sky welcoming the night.

‘That he’ll always come back to me, and I will always find him.’

The pillow next to his own is cool and untouched. The door is firmly closed, dust on the handle.

The sun has set and the sky outside slowly darkening to a deep and endless blue, alight with countless stars reflected on the calm sea below. The breeze is gentle, and their home sighs, finally at peace, at rest.

Asleep.

The curtains framing the calm sea move gently, and folded on the floor next to the telescope is a worn but cared for yellow blanket.

Quietly, for the first time in 53 sols, the moon rises.

Author’s Notes

Wow

Guys it’s done

It’s officially done

From May 2017 to March 2022

To all the people who have been reading from the beginning?

Massive massive thank you and appreciation, I cannot believe you’re still here

And to the people who joined in later and still stayed?

Wow

Thank you so much

Thank you to everyone who decided to give this crazy word-count convoluted and twisted fic a chance

I feel like I’ve grown so much and changed so much as a person while writing this fic and certainly aspects of it were influenced by those changes and by the changes I saw happening around the world

Adegu was probably the hardest fic I’ve ever written not just because of plot but again it expanded through some of the most difficult parts of my life and wow, I’m still here

And so are you

And that means a lot to me

Thank you so much for reading this, truly, I mean it from the bottom of my heart

To the friends I made through this fic, to the fanart that’s been made based on ADEGU, and everything else

Thank you so much!

If there are any questions you have regarding anything int eh storyline you didn’t catch or want more detailed explanations please do let me know in the comments and I will answer them all

Here are some random facts!

Writing Sk’jin’s character was the easiest and funnest for me.

The most difficult character to write was Jimin’s.

From the very beginning of the conception of this story I already had the ending completely written out. I knew exactly how and why and when Yoongi and Sk’jin would d*e . no changes made there

Initially I had intended for namjoon’s character to actually be a triple-double-crosser, pretending to work for Lmiura while in fact working for K’mara but ultimately decided that all of them not knowing a damn thing was actually better

Hoseok was supposed to have 4 arms

Mengisiti as a whole was supposed to be destroyed completely but I didn’t want to pull an Alderan and Princess Leia on Jimin

Jungkook was supposed to be some form of vampire alien who survved solely on blood, but in AMULGOE I had already created a side character who was a Vicitra and I thought conceptually that was cooler so I stuck with that instead

Jimin was actually supposed to die with Yino- once he killed Tsirin he would have too, however, as you would have noticed, it wasn’t Jimin who “killed” Tsirin, but rather it’s Taeh’yung, as a result Jimin is pretty much an ordinary Being as he no longer carries the Fate of Mengisiti because Mengisiti as a “Spiritual concept” no longer exists as Yino is dead. And because of that, the New Borns ccreated and connected to Jimin don’t all die too. The Regurgitated do though…as we all painfully know. But yeah, as a result, the New Borns connected to Jimin are simply now, disconnected from him as he no longer binds the Fate with mengisiti anymore.

Amme is based on the alien I designed based on my friend’s literal worse nightmares lmao visually Amme is my favourite character

Camil changes his name to Mingyu, literally everyone from seventeen is a part of Ilya’s network and Jeonghan is an informant who has infiltrated K’mara and the GIU. Jungkooks 97 line friends are all members of the Network and are there at Ka-Yee’s workshop.

My favourite chapters to write were the Pompen Arena chapters, Namjoon’s kidnapping, crashing into Ynqaba and finding Jungkook, Yoongi getting captured in dao-5, and taeh’yung special solo chapter.

Ilya is based on my friends OC and she gave me permission to write him into ADEGU

we actually do get to see menulis and saules with their parent back in the chapter where Namjoon had been kidnapped- the small human child had been yoongi, well, menulis, and namjoon realises who he is when menulis becomes a teenager and starts looking painfully familiar. he chooses not to tell jimin and the others because he's not sure what their reactions would be. menulisi is a new born and has NO connection in mind heart or soul to the original min yoongi

K’mara is actually one of my most favourite OCs and her name is an - of my middle name

I listened to the soundtrack from Oblivion, Death Stranding, Tinadae, Interstellar, For now I am Winter by olafur Arnalds, and the album Satellite by Twelve Titans Music the most while writing ADEGU

If you cried while reading some stuff, I probably cried twice as harder writing it T_T

So yeah, random info haha

If you want to know more, do ask me!

Im more than happy to answer considering this has been actively alive in my head for 5 years

Thank you again so much!

I have an idea for a FULLY COMEDY AND WHOLESOME FIC based on this universe for TXT, but im not sure when I’ll have that started.

I am taking a short break from writing, to kinda recover

But I’ll be back with more yoonmin AND THIS SCI-FI NAMJIN IVE HAD IN MY HEAD AS AN APOLOGY one-shots after my break!

Thank you again!!!

Though I will confess to laughing at hurrican Namjoon, bless his klutsom nature and having to be helped out by the Amic and Shay who just do it automatically now. Gave some lovely little tension break moments I'll admit.

Chapter 61: wow, I should have realised that Tsirin would have been willingly involved! so nice to get a look into more of Jimin´s childhood and the events that led to this whole mess.
as a non-American, I wouldn't say that the whole qanon stuff is affecting me personally. But I have spent the last... 6 months (but more like Trump´s entire presidency) in disbelief and sort of hopelessness every time I look at the news from the US. That people can believe these things, and that others allow for these things to happen... the lengths some people are willing to go to, and the things they ignore and leave unchallenged out of self-interest is mindboggling and absolutely terrifying. More than ever I am certain that the US is a country I NEVER want to visit.
Anyway tho - wonderful chapter! I hope you are well and I look forward to the next update^^

And I've heard of a mugwump too, it made me smile reading it but I cant think of where I heard it now. Some kids story I think - possibly Roald Dalh or maybe Moomins - but i have heard of one. If i ever track down where I shall let you know
Anyway looking forward to more
