Epilogue| The End of A Beginning

Fluttering your eyes open, you found yourself in an odd place, standing up you found yourself dressed completely white, the place was like a forest it felt as though you were back in the Devil’s Labyrinth, but instead of the dark skies and dead vegetation, the entire place was bright and filled with flowers and sparkling green grass with little insects wavering around. “Hello?! Is there someone here?!” you yelled scanning around the place waiting for a reply, but there was no reply. “Is this how L’s stomach look like?” you asked yourself scratching your head in confusion. “Hey!” someone called you as you turned around to see a guy wearing white running up towards you. “Who are you?” you shockingly said as your eyes widened, “Why are you here? Did L eat you too?” “No, L didn’t eat you or me,” he smiled.

“Then where are we? We’re in heaven right?”

“This is the analysis place, where everything is being rechecked,”

“Rechecked? So why we here?”

“To get rechecked, it’s where the Gods decided whether you die or not,”

“Uh?”

“When you were being eaten by L, he forced you out, so he didn’t eat you,”

“Then I’m dead?”

“Not quite, you’re being rechecked, either being reincarnated into human, becoming a guardian or an angel,”

“Oh… So what am I going to be?”

“That is why I’m here, to tell you,”

“Sorry, please go on,”

“It has been decided that you’ll be a guardian who would protect and guide a specific human into the next life and so on, for eternity,”

“Who’s that?”
