~My POV~

As I woke up lazily dragging myself to the bathroom, I saw 5 missed calls on my cell phone. Kat ,Kat, Melissa, Trenton, and Grandma? I haven’t really spoken to her ever since umma and appa passed away. She must feel awful I didn’t answer. I’ll call her after work.

“Annyeonghaseyo, sorry I’m late Manager. I woke up a little late.” I apologized.

“It’s okay, it’s your first one so I’ll let it slide.” He replied.

“Kamsahamnida.” I bowed.

“Now get to work. Table 5 needs water.”

“Yes sir.”

“Annyeonghaseyo, je ireumeun Eunsun imnida and I will be serving you this evening.” I greeted the family. “Your children are adorable.”

“Kamsahamnida. Umm, can we have the curry and udee please?” The costumer replied.

“Ye. It will be here shortly. Kamsahamnida.” I looked back the unnie’s children, they were soo cute. Both fighting for their Umma’s attention. I remember when I used to do that when my umma was alive . . . I can nor will I ever forgive that drunk driver. Because of him, I’m in this world alone. I’ve been taking care of myself since I was 12 years old, 15 years old my parents die and I’m now 18 working late shifts just so I can move to South Korea to be with my family. Sunny breathe, tomorrow you can dance away the pain.

*I want to cry*

“Yeobosaeyo?”

“Yeobosaeyo?”

“Grandma?”

“Ye, how are you my granddaughter?”

“Okay, I'm sorry I didn't pick up before. I overslept."

"Still over working yourself I see."

"I'm not, but how are you and everyone else?” I tried to change the subject.

“They’re very good and healthy. They’re waiting for you to come home.”

“I know grandma, I’m working hard so that I can move.”

“Well, don’t put too much on your plate.”

“Ye I won’t.”

“Are you still dancing?”

“Everyday. Weh?”

“There’s this audition –

“Noona, breaks over!” called Sam.

“Oh, grandma I have to go. I’ll talk to you later. Saranghae!”

“Yah! Wait! *Dial tone* Sigh, I’ll see you soon . . .

“Sorry to interrupt you, food’s here.” I announced.

“Ohh kamsahamnida, it looks great.”

“Eat well, enjoy your meal!”

I let out a frustrated sigh. I don’t know what to feel at this point. I’m tired from working late shifts, college exams are coming up, I’m stressed and concerned I won’t be able to see my family for another year. UGH! I just wanna get away. *Vibrate*

Can’t wait for you to move to Seoul! It’s been far too long! Eat well and stay healthy. Saranghae ^_^

I started to cry, I couldn’t keep it in anymore. I miss my family soo much. They’re in as much pain as I am from my parent’s death. We need to be together. I looked at the text.
