To say that Jiyong was disappointed was an understatement. Their schedules, his especially, did not allow them to meet for the next ten days. But phone calls scattered throughout their busy schedules and random iguana1988 confessions online kept them connected throughout those days. 

Miraculously, today of all days, his meeting with a sponsor had to be rescheduled and he finally was able to have a free afternoon. He had plans to take Dara to an amusement park – the one they used to go to when they first met.

He sat as still as a statue. She poked him again, harder this time. He blew a forceful breath and straightened his shoulders as if finally he had come upon a major decision. Without a word he shifted gears and drove the car out of the unloading bay.

“Ji! What are you doing? I need to go in!” Dara exclaimed frantically at him.

He turned his head briefly at her and gave her a big grin. The sudden shift in mood stupefied her into silence. She stared at him, puzzled at his actions after realizing that he wasn’t actually driving them out of the parking lot but that he was circling around and finding a parking space for them. 

Once he had parked the car, he turned to Dara, “I don’t care if you have an emergency meeting. I’ve made up my mind to spend the afternoon with you. I’m attending the meeting with you.”

“What?!!? Are you out of your mind? You’re going to cause a frenzy inside the station!” Dara told him.

“I don’t care. I brought you to work before, now it’s your turn to bring me to work.” He grinned at her stunned expression. “Are you ashamed of me, Sandara Park?” He said to her teasingly while unstrapping her from the seat. He stole a quick peck on her lips as he withdrew from her side of the car after dealing with her seatbelt.

“Yah! Of course not. I’m just not prepared for this to happen now. I haven’t prepped them that I have a boyfriend, you know.” Dara told him.

“No time better than now.” He fixed a baseball cap on his head and got off his side of the car and rounded onto her side and guided her out of the car.
