"Explain to me exactly the word 'death'." Jeongyeon sat across from Mina eating something so covered in ketchup, that it was indefinable. 

"I call it death, because it basically kills who you are, like the real you dies, see? My dad can find anything out about you by looking at you, like Sherlock Holmes." Jeongyeon shook her head. 
"That still sounds scary as hell." Mina nodded. "That's why next week, I'm not coming back to school for a while." Jeongyeon was shocked at how calmly she said it.

"Not coming back!? What does that mean?"

"What I said." Mina couldn't look at Jeongyeon. "If I see you I won't know you, tonight's tutoring session will be the last time I know who you are. I need you to be safe."

Jeongyeon could only open and close . "See you later, Jeongyeon." She kissed her lightly and left her.
