Fifteenth Chapter
Yet another Korean dramaWhile Dongwan was driving Minwoo to make sure Junjin and Eric were untouched and safe, Andy and Hyesung had found a refuge in one of Dongwan’s numerous apartments. Silence had descended between them as they were still uncomfortable with one another. “Is the paper still safe?” the other one questioned. The other man nodded to answer. “Good. We cannot afford losing it…”
“Or even worse…”
They finished the sentence together, “…Jimin finds it.”
Hyesung stood up to stretch his legs. He had changed out of the maid outfit and was now clad in his own normal comfortable jeans and some t-shirt. Andy looked at him – examined him from head to toe. The maid was beautiful. No wonder Eric had totally fallen for him. Andy was just a mouse next to him.
“So, what was that between you and Junjin?” Hyesung interrogated.
“What do you mean?” Andy either was a good liar and pretended not to know what the maid was talking about, or actually had no idea what the man was saying.
“I saw you, hugging,” Hyesung replied.
Andy looked at the man in front of him. “I don’t know. He just suddenly hugged me.”
“You didn’t push him away,” Hyesung had observed.
“He was hurt. I can’t push him away.” Andy claimed.
“Couldn’t or didn’t want to?” Hyesung snickered.
“Enough!” Andy yelled. “It was just a hug. Jimin bought it. Now zip it.” he moved his hands.
Hyesung grinned widely, and moved closer to the younger man. “Don’t mislead Junjin. If you don’t feel what he feels, you should tell him.” he had now grabbed the other hand.
“What the hell are you talking about?” Andy frowned.
“Well…Junjin…he…he loves you…?” Hyesung noticed how the brain was processing all the words. Then Andy’s eyes widened. “You…you didn’t know?” Hyesung had screwed up. “He…He is so obvious though…”
“Wha…whe…how long?” Andy was shocked.
Hyesung shrugged. “The whole time?”
Andy stared at the wall in front of him and then stood up. “I need to get some air.”
Hyesung didn’t stop him, which in hindsight, should’ve been done.
“It won’t budge,” Minwoo tried. “I didn’t even know these could be locked,”
“Let me try,” Junjin kneeled and looked at the lock. “If I had my tools or both of my hands, I could break it, but—”
“What is going on!?” Eric was yelling. “You two! Tell me!”
Minwoo sighed. “It is a long story. Go to bed and rest,” he commanded, but Eric wouldn’t move. “Fine,” the younger man explained everything from the beginning, which Eric already knew but had forgotten. “And therefore, we must get out of this room. Well, I must, you can’t go anywhere.”
Junjin stood up and sighed, hand on his hip, while Minwoo paced. Eric didn’t say anything. “Where is Andy? And Hyesung?”
“They’re safe,”
“Are you sure?” Eric held Minwoo by the upper arms. “Are you…quite…sure?”
Minwoo wasn’t, but he couldn’t say that now. He merely nodded and turned to Junjin, who had given up with the door. He couldn’t do much with his other arm broken and other unusable otherwise. Then the door began making sounds. “What the hell…?”
“Andy!” Minwoo had never been so happy to hear that guy’s voice. “Andy! We’re inside!”
The door slid open, and the butler stepped inside. “Why is it locked?” he questioned, immediately being squeezed into a hug by Minwoo. Junjin watched behind the short man, as if waiting for his turn, but when Andy was freed, Junjin didn’t move. “Are you guys alright?”
“What are you doing in here?!” Eric jumped up. “Aren’t you with Hyesung?”
“Considering he doesn’t remember much, that is impressive…” Minwoo whispered.
“He isn’t here yet?” Andy’s eyes went wide. “He called me few minutes ago that he would come to see you,” he nodded toward Eric. “He should’ve been here already. He was much closer than I was.”
The other men were silenced with shock. “You mean…Hyesung…the person, who has the proof…was left alone?” Junjin stepped closer, arm aching from the stress the other man caused him. “Are you an idiot?” Those words flew out of the mouth like nothing. “You should’ve been together. That is why Dongwan let you stay in his apartment.”
Andy was obviously surprised by the explosion – having just learned about the said man’s feelings- , but instantly turned as angry, “Well, excuse me for not trusting anyone,” he fondled his pockets and pulled out something. “I don’t trust Hyesung, so here, your ing proof,” the butler slammed the paper in front of them to the bed side table. “I would never give something so important to a new guy,”
They all stared at the butler. Andy was seething with rage as he walked toward the window and turned his back at everyone. “How many times do I have to show you guys my loyalty?” he hissed. “I love Eric. Why the heck would I do something so stupid?”
The CEO’s eyes widened. “You…what?” The hit on his head had been tougher than Andy had expected. “You love me?” Andy brushed it off with a shrug and Eric pondered in silence what he had just heard.
“I wasn’t hiding it,” the butler mumbled, eyes visiting Junjin’s, who had tensed even more. “You should relax.” Andy said to the chauffeur. “I have the proof. Everything is going to be okay,” the butler claimed.
“If so,” Minwoo stepped forward. “Where is Hyesung?”
Hyesung felt a throb at the back of his head. His eyes were closed but he didn’t want to
