Hongbin lived in the dark and forbidden forest with his brother and a warlock. They protected Hongbin from the world, especially from the evil witch who also a Queen in Hongbin’s brother’s last home. Lee Jaehwan, Hongbin’s brother, when he was 5 years old, he was kidnapped by the Queen’s guard. And she punished him and made a scar on his cheek. It was because the Queen was jealous of his beauty. He didn’t know why the Queen did that until he founded by a warlock, Hakyeon. So Hakyeon was pity for Jaehwan. So that night, Hakyeon asked their parents’s permission to take care of Jaehwan and his younger brother, Hongbin. Hongbin was still a baby back then. At first, their parents didn’t agree but then Hakyeon told them about the Queen’s bad behavior and how she would kill the people who more beautiful than her. So their parents gave their children to Hakyeon. Hakyeon built a house in the small village far from the castle and it was in the deep dark forbidden forest. He also protected the house with his magic, so the Queen couldn’t find them.

They never let Hongbin to go out from house. They only let him when Hakyeon was with him because Hakyeon could protect him. until one day, Hakyeon was asleep and Hongbin was bored to hell. He decided to sneak out from the house and went to play out to the forest.
