If she was being honest with herself, Chloe had no idea how she got onto the Eiffel tower. Hell, she had no idea how she got into France. The last clear memory she had was of a pool at a beautiful villa in Italy. That was June 3rd. Everything since then was a blur, as if Chloe dreamed the whole thing up. Bits and pieces were unclear and missing. 

  Chloe cursed violently under her breath, when she realized it was the 8th. Five whole days went by. Five days spent in a dream-like state. Five days wasted, Chloe thought with a bitter twinge.    With a sigh, Chloe started to look around for something unusual. This being the fifth time she "woke up" withing the past two months, she started to notice a pattern. Last time she woke up just in time to see the Leaning Tower of Pisa nearly fall down. The time before that, the Stone Henge nearly exploded. Long story short, Chloe was uncomfortably high up on a national monument and she had a really bad feeling stirring in the pit of her gut.    That's when she saw it. She wasn't really sure what it was. It was only a glimpse of something a little too fast and a little too shiny to be human. The uncomfortable feeling turned into dread and she knew she found her target.    Against every instinct screaming at her to run away and forget she saw anything, Chloe followed it. She approached the area she last saw it. And, there it was again! She saw a flash of fur this time. It disappeared around a corner. Taking a deep breath, she stealed herself, then hurled around the corner after it. Only to crash into someone.    "Pardon," muttered the culprit in a very heavy accent that Chloe couldn't quite place. The guy was tall, with dark hair and dark eyes, and he barely spared Chloe a glance before running down the stair case that was right in front of him. A quick glance around the area told Chloe that whatever she was chasing, probably went down the stairs as well. She quickly followed after it.    Chloe remembered a time where she'd simply be able jump and the earth would catch her. She'd get a soft landing in the dirt no matter the height she jumped from. But those days were long over. As it was, she had to hurry down the stairs if she wanted to have any chance of even seeing the creature again.    She arrived at the bottom completely out of breath. Panting, she leaned against a railing as she tried to catch her breath. Looking around she spotted a few tourists taking pictures and the crazy long line of people waiting to get to the top of the tower. Geez people, she thought. It wasn't that special. Especially not for someone who didn't really like heights.    Chloe then turned to look underneath the tower. What she saw, turned her stomach to lead. The feeling of dread from before increased ten-fold when she saw the creature.    You have got to be kidding me, was the only thought running through her head as she stared at the minotaur. A freaking minotaur. Of all things to possibly encounter.    The minotaur suddenly arched his back and roared so loudly, Chloe was surprised the other humans didn't hear it, regardless of the magic that protected them. She watched, aghast, as the minotaur spun around. Her breath caught in he throat when she saw why the beast started yelling. A blade was stuck in its back, with green slime spilling out of the wound.    The minotaur swiped. A second later, a boy crashed into one of the metal legs of the tower.    "Chanyeol!" Someone shouted. The boy groaned and Chloe nearly cried in relief. He wasn't dead. Chloe desperately looked around for anything she could use as a weapon. But unless she could pick up and throw a trashcan or some plastic forks, there was nothing.
