Chapter 9

            After awhile of dancing and getting to know WonBin, MinKyung decided to go back to her friends. EunHee beamed when MinKyung is back, “So…what happened?” MinKyung replied puzzled, “What do you mean?” The girls gave MinKyung a suspicious look and smirked. MiYoung said with a smirk, “We saw you. You and that WonBin guy were being friendly. We haven’t seen you get that friendly with any guy after you know who. You were all smiling and giggling. Spill it! It is against our conduct to hide anything from sisters!” MinKyung denied nervously, “Anio unnie! We were just talking. Jeongmal amugeosdo anida!” JiHyun said, “Jeongmallo?” MinKyung defended herself, “Yes, really! Plus, I don’t want to get into another relationship.” The girls didn’t buy it but didn’t ask any further questions. MinKyung then said, “Hey, I’m going to get some fresh air outside.” The girls decided to stay in the hotel and get something to eat.

            MinKyung smiled at the feel of fresh air. She sat down on the bench swing and looked up at the clear night sky. She then took out her iPod from her purse and listen to music with her eyes close while enjoying the night breeze and music.

[Inside the hotel]

            The adults are all chatting and laughing away. MinKyung’s friends all separated and do their own thing. EunHee decided to get more punch. While walking toward the food section, kids from various companies and families were running around. One of them accidentally bumped into EunHee. She lost her composure. EunHee eyes are tightly shut. Coincidentally, Yoseob was walking by. He immediately grabbed her before she fell to the ground.

EunHee was waiting for the pain of hitting the ground but it never happened. She felt a pair of arms wrapped around her waist. She opened her eyes to see a smiling Yoseob looking down at her. Yoseob said smiling, “Kwaenchana?” Seeing Yoseob’s smiling at her made her mind completely blank. She is lost in Yoseob’s smile that she didn’t make out what he said to her. She felt her heart flutter. EunHee said to herself, “Omo, why is my heart beating so fast? Luckily the music is loud or else I think he would hear my heart beat. Jamkkan man…what am I saying?” Yoseob’s smile then turned into a pout and asked concerned, “EunHee-ah, kwaenchana?” EunHee snapped out of her trance and replied stuttering, “H-huh?” Yoseob repeated, “Kwae
