Chapter 26

            Soon MinKyung and KiKwang are on the balloon ride. Their friends followed not only to spy on them but because they want to go on it too. During the ride, MinKyung is off in her own little world. MinKyung looks out to the view before her as she thinks back to WonBin’s confession and the incident with KiKwang when KiKwang was drunk. KiKwang watches as MinKyung sighs deep in her thought. KiKwang thought to himself as he secretly watches MinKyung, “You don’t know how much I want to hold you in my arms right now. It pains me to watch you get closer and closer to WonBin. I don’t know why but I have a feeling something happened between Min and I when I was drunk that night but I don’t know what.”

             MinKyung thought to herself oblivious that KiKwang is watching her, “Ottoke? WonBin oppa wants to me to think about it but I really don’t know. I feel that I can’t accept anyone. I can’t let go of my feelings for KiKwang. It will be horrible of me to go out with someone with my lingering feelings for KiKwang. Ottoke? I don’t think I can ever forgive him for what happened. Hajiman…I can’t stop thinking about what he said that night. Aish! Misunderstanding… I want to know what he means by that but I don’t want to confront him. Geuligo…the locket… Aish, so many questions!” MinKyung sighed again.

             KiKwang said finally, “Wae keurae?” MinKyung replied, “Mwot?” “You keep sighing. Is something the matter?” said KiKwang. MinKyung replied, “Ani. Just thinking about some things…or a lot of things.” KiKwang didn’t question further as much as he want to so their ride of silence continues.

[JunHyung & SoHyun]

            SoHyun said, “Oppa, you know that girl that unnie and KiKwang helped?” JunHyung replied, “Ne. Wae?” SoHyun said, “I feel something bad omitting from her.” JunHyung said, “Maybe you’re over-thinking it.” SoHyun replied with a serious look, “Anio. I really do. Geuligo, did you see her smirk after unnie and KiKwang oppa walked away? The smirk is not a good smirk.” JunHyung poked her cheeks and said, “Don’t over-think it. It’s probably nothing.” SoHyun said with a pout, “Fine don’t believe me.” SoHyun looked away from JunHyung.

            JunHyung then said poking her arm, “Yah, Mianhae.” SoHyun dust his finger off but JunHyung is persistent. SoHyun grew paranoid from the poking and turned around. JunHyung and SoHyun’s faces are now centimeters apart. Their eyes never left each other. Slowly, oblivious to them, the gap between them is closing. Both of their hearts are beating rapidly. JunHyung thought to himself, “I think I really fell for her. For three months I have denied these feelings but now I don’t think I can.” With that, JunHyung seals the gap between them. SoHyun’s eyes widen as she felt JunHyung’s lips on hers. SoHyun thought to herself, “Omo, oppa is kissing me. For some reason it feels nice. I think I really did fell for him.” Slowly, SoHyun’s eyes close and return the kiss. The kiss confirmed their deep and hidden feelings for each other.

            After awhile, they broke apart. JunHyung cupped her face with his hands and smiled at her. SoHyun blushed and smiled back. JunHyung then said finally, “Joahae. No mu Joahae, SoHyun-ah. At first I wasn’t sure of these feelings that I get in my heart when I’m with you but now, I know. I want you. You don’t know how grateful I am for the things you did for me. You’re the first perso
