That Tingly Feeling
I'll Protect YouSunlight filtered through the open window and the sound of chirping birds greeted Jin as he roused from sleep. The early morning breeze caressed his cheeks and Jin took a moment to appreciate these simple gifts of nature. He let out a deep breath and smiled.
I’m alive.
He glanced at the empty space beside him and wondered where Yoongi was. It was still early and the club owner usually slept till noon. He then noticed the breakfast tray laden with an assortment of bread on the table and picked up the note Yoongi left.
“Call me when you’re up.”
Jin smiled at the note on his hand as he reread the message for the 100th time. He feels like a giddy teenager and he would have flailed his arms around and jumped up and down the bed if he wasn’t injured. It’s not a love letter or anything remotely romantic but those five words on Yoongi’s note spoke volumes on how much the man cared for Jin.
After willing himself to stop grinning like a love-struck fool, he finally reached for the phone that Yoongi left on the bedside table.
“Hey”
Jin’s heart skipped a beat upon hearing Yoongi’s rich, deep voice and he wished he was hearing that voice right next to his ear instead of over the phone. He’s been so used to waking up in Yoongi’s arms that he felt a pang of sadness at his absence.
“ I miss you,” he couldn’t help but say.
Yoongi blushed at Jin’s words and he couldn’t stop the grin from spreading across his face from the sudden rush of tingly feelings. Namjoon shot him a disgusted look but he couldn’t care less what his friend thinks. He’s practically bursting from happiness and he’s not going to hide it. He won’t deny himself the pleasure of enjoying Kim Seok Jin’s unending charms.
