Sunlight filtered through the open window and the sound of chirping birds greeted Jin as he roused from sleep. The early morning breeze caressed his cheeks and Jin took a moment to appreciate these simple gifts of nature. He let out a deep breath and smiled.

He glanced at the empty space beside him and wondered where Yoongi was. It was still early and the club owner usually slept till noon. He then noticed the breakfast tray laden with an assortment of bread on the table and picked up the note Yoongi left.

He feels like a giddy teenager and he would have flailed his arms around and jumped up and down the bed if he wasn’t injured. It’s not a love letter or anything remotely romantic but those five words on Yoongi’s note spoke volumes on how much the man cared for Jin.

After willing himself to stop grinning like a love-struck fool, he finally reached for the phone that Yoongi left on the bedside table.
