V sat in the backseat of the car, mindlessly dancing and singing along to the music blasting on his earphones. For someone who's about to be admitted to a psychiatric facility, he's surprisingly calm and upbeat. He smiled as his gaze landed on the two hyungs sitting in front. They were parked on the roadside and Namjoon was recording an oblivious Yoongi as he spouted one cheesy line after another while speaking on the phone with Jin.

Jin.

The man he tried to kill.

The man he thinks he's fallen in love with.

Flashback

V rang the doorbell and nervously waited for Yoongi to open the door. J-hope put a reassuring hand on his shoulder to get him to stop fidgeting and he gave a small smile of thanks to his loving and caring hyung. He's only able to stand here and do what he's about to do because of J-hope's support.

"It'll be alright, V."

"I'm sure he hates me."

"Whatever happens, remember that your Yoongi hyung loves you. We all love you."

"He loves Jin."

"Loving Jin doesn't make him love you less, Taehyung ah."

"I almost killed Jin."

"Almost," answered an unfamiliar voice.

V and J-hope turned towards the voice and were surprised to find Jin standing in the doorway. 

"Yoongi's taking a shower," Jin explained as he hobbled inside the apartment on his crutches. 

V was not prepared to come face to face with the man he was strangling with his hands just hours before and he made a move to turn around and leave. Much to his chagrin, J-hope wouldn't let him escape and instead dragged him inside the apartment.
