By the time J-hope checked on him that morning, he was already a crying, fidgeting mess. He didn’t want Yoongi to worry so he hung up the phone before he could embarrass himself and burst into tears. He didn’t mean to call and whine but it was hard to keep the disappointment at bay when he woke up alone in bed. He doesn’t understand why he’s such an emotional mess over someone he’s only known for a short time but he misses Yoongi so much he could literally feel his heart aching.

He was sternly scolded by J-hope for crying and moving around so much but the gentle pat on his head took the bite out of the scolding. Jin’s thankful for his cheerful presence that made breakfast time more bearable and the time passed rather pleasantly. He knew J-hope was tired from working all night at the club so he insisted that he’s okay being left alone.

“Thank you for keeping me company. I feel better now so you should go and take a rest too. I know last night was hard with all the extra work from V and Yoongi’s absence,” Jin said.

“Don’t worry about me, Jin. Let’s just wait till Jungkook comes back, okay? He only has one class today so he’ll be here soon. Why don’t we watch a movie while waiting?”

“But…Yoongi and I always watch movies together.”

“Errr…do you want to read a book? Namjoon has a pile of books we can borrow,” suggested J-hope.

“Yoongi reads to me when I have bad dreams and can’t go back to sleep. His voice makes me feel calm.”
