 Chapter 12

“Kaja (let’s go).” Sehun said to Hyoyeon.

Sehun is still in his soccer uniform. He is carrying his workout side bag.

Hyoyeon follows Sehun.

“How is it?” she walks ahead of Sehun, facing him while walking backwards, “The try out? Did you get in?” she asked joyfully.

“The results will be announced tomorrow morning.” Sehun said. Exhaustion is evident in his face and gestures. His legs are still burning from continuous running. He would wipe his sweat on his face and neck from time to time.

“Ah I see. I know you will get in! I believe in you!” Hyoyeon said as she goes back beside Sehun facing the direction they are taking.

“Sincha? How did you know? You’re just chatting with Kai a while ago and you’re not watching my game.” Sehun said in a cold way and looked at his right. Hyoyeon is at his left.

‘It’s because I know how you play already. With those skills of yours, for sure you’ll get in the team.’ Hyoyeon said in her mind.

“O…Of… cou…course I know. I’m good a telling who’s great at something and who’s not.” Hyoyeon said.

“Instinct? I would like to trust your instinct.” Sehun said and slyly smiled and nodded repeatedly.

They reached the car which is black in color.

“Good afternoon Sir, Ma’am.” The driver greeted as he looks at the front mirror.

“Good afternoon! Just call me Hyoyeon, ahjussi.” She said as she fix herself on the car seat at the back. She’s beside Sehun who just gave a slight bow.

 ‘What’s good in the afternoon. Tss.’ Sehun thought as a sign that he is not in the mood.

Flashback

“You can cry it out. I’m just here for you.”

Kai cried hard. Hyoyeon hugged him, lacing around her arms on Kai’s shoulders.

“I know why you’re crying. Just let it out. Love is such a wonderful creation that it can hurt us so much.” She said as she pat the back of Kai while hugging him.

“Thank you. I must go now. Bye.”Kai said and left.

End of flashback

Hyoyeon is deep in her thoughts. She can’t forget how Kai cried. His tears, his sobs—make her go weak. She is looking out the car window. She doesn’t know if she’s hurt seeing Kai cry or she’s hurt knowing he doesn’t moved on yet.
