Author’s POV

Angels do exist. In fact each one of us has a guardian angel. We might not see nor feel their presence, but for sure they are always around us. 

However (in this story), they are just like humans who have strengths and weaknesses, except the fact that they possess powers. 

Like this very world who loves to judge people according to their capabilities, angels are also ranked.

“Please, please Lord! Help me be ranked as the number one angel in Your kingdom, all alone for Your glory!”, 

Hyoyeon prayed to the light coming through the open sky. 

She has her hands put together and she wiggles her body and wings. “Please, bbuing~”, she does aegyo (cute) as her 

long blonde hair bounce as she continue wiggling.

“Are you sure it is for me?”, a deep yet godly voice asked.

“Of course! And also…for me…”, Hyoyeon smiled.

Meet Hyoyeon, an angel who loves to sing and dance. Oops, it might not be the only thing you want to know. 

Well, her ranking as an angel is way way down the earth, and that’s before. Rank 6,867,980,890 was her lowest rank.

 Everytime an angel does a good deed like saving the person they are guarding from untimely death, accident, or suicidal possibilities, 

their rank goes up by one. Her current rank was twelve, meaning she persevered to show every other angels her 

dedication and hardwork to be number one and get that wish granted. 

She was considered a weak angel until she proved them wrong.

What’s her wish? That’s for her to tell.

Hyoyeon’s POV

Hi. I’m Hyoyeon. Just Hyoyeon okay? Angels like me don’t have surnames like humans do. Yes I do love to sing, 

(sings “Angel” by Exo)

Yes, I’m that eager to get my wish granted. All I want is to be a human!  Human, human, human! 

Well, hihihi (tucks hair in one ear and blushes)I like to be a human because… 

(aligned her index fingers and bumps it together repeatedly) I like… Kim…Jong…In! 

Also known as Kai. Ahahahahaha. (runs around, flops her wings, and flies around fast and angelically)

Hey, it’s a secret, okay? Don’t tell anyone about it or else I’ll be doomed!

“Hyoyeon ah! Hyoyeon ah!”, someone is looking for me. I set my feet on the ground again and look for the voice.

I looked at my right and saw a beautiful angel approaching. Oh! It’s Seohyun. 

“Neh(yes), Seohyun ah?”, I said as I happily said. She’s a dear friend of mine. My closest friend of all the angels, and what they call on earth bestfriend.

 Like Kai is to Sehun. Angels don’t have families but friends.

“Congratulations! You ranked up again! Look!”, Seohyun showed her wrist and the list of ranking app
