Ugh, I rolled over, pulling the pillow over my head. The boys were up, and louder than normal today. It wouldn't have been an issue, except for the fact that I got no sleep last night. I was up all night tossing and turning, thinking about my feelings for Woozi. I tried talking myself out of my feelings and denying them completely, but that didn't work too well.

I popped out of bed and took a relaxing bubble bath to put my brain to ease. It didn't help, but it was worth a try. Maybe I just need to talk to someone about this, get a different point of view. After changing into a pair of sweatpants and loose tank top, there was a knock on my door, interrupting my thoughts, "come in!"

The door slowly opened, as Hoshi's face peeked through, "hey," he was smiling from ear to ear, "wanna go dancing tonight?" He seemed excited, as always. I raised an eyebrow at him, what's the occasion?

He explained that tonight was a dance off that happened every few months. They usually end up getting a good amount of money out of it. They've never had a girl to compete with the other girls, so they thought I would be a perfect addition to their little team.  He thought I'd really have a good time too.

This is exactly what I need, to let out some steam and make money while I'm doing it. I smirked, "when do we leave?" 

He was a bit taken back at how ready and willing I was. He still had his excited smile plastered on his face, "20 minutes, meet us in the kitchen."

I nodded to him, "I'll be ready in time, no worries." If I really put my mind to it, I could get ready in no time. He quickly left me to get ready, I assumed he had yet to get ready as well. I dug through my drawers to find an outfit that worked. 

While I was finishing up my makeup up someone knocked at my door, "we'll be downstairs" Dino yelled as I heard footsteps walking away.

I rushed downstairs to see them all holding shot glasses filled with a red liquid. There was only Hoshi, Dino and The8 waiting, is it just us four tonight? The8 smiled at me and held a shot glass up for me to take, "perfect timing, we were just about to come drag you out here." I shook my head and took the glass as they all raised theirs. 

I held mine in the air as Hoshi spoke, "let's do our best tonight and bring home as much as we can. More importantly, let's just go out and have fun." We all exchanged glances, everyone seemed so excited and happy, which only made me more excited. 

They all looked at me, "cheers to MinYoung's first competition" The8 chimed and we all touched glasses. I swallowed the thick blood and suddenly got a burst of energy. 

As we were on our way to the club, they explained to me how everything went. There are usually one or two dance-offs going at one time. Most of the time girl competed with girls and boys competed with boys. Only about a handful of people went in a round as people place bets. Whoever wins the round gets a good portion of the money. They had a rule, never place any bets, just win rounds.

As we walked up to the club, the bouncer in the front smiled fondly at the boys. That smile soon faded as his eyes landed on me, "who's this?" He jerked his head in my direction, what his problem? 

The boys looked both confused and shocked, "MinYoung?" Hoshi asked and the bouncer nodded. Hoshi's eyes turned red as he spoke in a low voice, "this is MinYoung, and you will never talk to her like that again, and when she's with us, you talk to her like she's one of us." The bouncer's eyes glowed red and then back to normal. Without question he silently opened the door for us, wishing us luck and smiling at me. 

I tried not to think anything of what just happened. Since it was only the second time something like that has happened it was still a little bazaar. It was even more wild to see Hoshi, of all people, talk to someone like that. I've never seen that side of him.

I smiled as we walked in, seeing everyone dancing and the loud music always gave me a boost if energy. A strange man approached us, "you guys made it!" He yelled over the music as he went towards me. His face looked oddly familiar but I just couldn't remember why. He picked up my hand, "I knew you were a dancer, the way you move on the dance floor, you had to be" he said kissing the back of my hand, "I was just so hoping to see you here tonight."

Dino wrapped his arm around the man, pulling him away. I was confused as ever, who is he? Dino shook his head, "this is Heechul, he was at your welcoming ball. He's the one in charge here" he explained. 

I nodded, so that's why he looked familiar. I'm surprised I even remembered his face, I was so drunk I hardly remembered that night. He scanned the group, "Woozi's not here tonight?" They shook their heads as I stood there, why would he be here? He looked just as confused though, "well Nayeon is here, so I figured he would come too." 

I sat there, listening to their conversation, "Nayeon's here?" The8 asked and Heechul nodded.

"Weird," I heard Dino mutter under his breath, "she's always here when Woozi decides to tag along." They all agreed with his statement, continuing on how this was out of the ordinary. 

I nudged Dino, who was standing next to me and whisper-yelled in his ear so he could hear me over the music, "who's Nayeon?" I had never heard her name before, not even from Woozi. They make her sound like this important person to him.

"Ah," he laughed, "she's just another vampire, she competes here too." He paused and whispered in my ear, "we're all convinced that she has this huge crush on him and that they should date," He said laughing again and joining in on what the others were talking about. 

I couldn't hear a word, I was too deep in my own thoughts. Did he have feelings for her? I felt knots in my stomach started to develop. Once I come to peace with my feelings for him, I had to find out he might have feelings for another. I snapped back to reality as I realized everyone's eyes were on me. They all looked at me, as if waiting for me to say something, "I'm sorry did you say something?" 

They all chuckled, "Heechul asked if you wanted to watch The8 compete, so you can get a feel for how it works" Hoshi explained. I happily nodded, get my mind away from these thoughts.

I followed the boys to one of the dance circles. As I stood and watched for a little while, I had noticed that everyone competing was b-boying. After a couple of rounds, I decided it was time for me to jump in and compete. There was a b-girl who was the first dancer. Not bad, but I could definitely beat her. When she was done, I made my way into the middle. I did some footwork before going into a few windmills. For some reason, I could feel that I was a bit off like my moves just weren't hitting right. 

When I was done there was quite a big cheer, but it wasn't much longer before I knew I wasn't going to win. The girl after me hit her moves so hard and was so fierce, it was already over. Hoshi had nudged me as I was silently watching, "is everything alright?" I turned to him and gave him a questionable look. 

He turned to the others, I couldn't hear what he said because of all the cheering and loud music. Before I knew it, he had grabbed my arm and pulled me through the crowd. We made our way to an empty table where it was much quieter. He sat me down and sat across from me, "what's going on tonight," he asked, "I've never seen you just give up like that!" I just sat there with my head down, "and I know you can dance so much better than that!" He raised his eyebrows at me, expecting me to give him an explanation. 

All I could do was sigh, "it's a long story," I started, "and it's supposed to be a secret." I was sure that none of the other guys knew that Seungcheol liked me or that I liked Woozi. I considered Hoshi to be one of my closer friends out of the group, maybe I could trust him.

The corners of his mouth lifted as he rolled his eyes, "it's a good thing we'll be here all night," he joked, "but really, I won't tell anyone if you need to talk about it." He sounded so sincere, and I did need to talk about it, I don't think I can handle another sleepless night.

I took a deep breath, "well," I told him everything, from the feelings I used to get around Seungcheol to Dino telling me about Nayeon's crush on Woozi, and how I was nervous about him liking her back. With all the details in between.

He sat there, wide eyed, surprised at the things I had told him. His mouth hung open, trying to find words, "wow," he said breathlessly, "I had no clue that all this was happening." He was in complete awe, but I could still see the gears in his brain going like crazy. He scratched the back of his head, "so what are you going to do?"

I shrugged my shoulders, I had no clue what I wanted to do. I had only just recently discovered my feelings for Woozi. 

Hoshi had opened his mouth to some something, but a random woman ran up to him and hugged him from behind. He peeked behind him, "Oh, Nayeon," he said, less cheerful than usual. That's Nayeon?! I'm doomed if Woozi likes her. She so gorgeous, long cascading curls, beautiful flawless skin, and curves that would stop a man in his tracks but still having a cute face. 

She had scanned the crowd, "where's Woozi?" 

Hoshi shrugged her off his shoulders, "he didn't come," he started, "but we did bring Minyoung." He pointed toward me and she just blankly stared at me for a second.

Finally, she put a smile on, "I didn't even see you were there, you're so small." The way she said it made it sound so innocent, but I could tell that wasn't her intention. I was taken back by her rudeness, I just met her and she already doesn't like me? I took a deep breath, kill her with kindness.

I had opened my mouth to say something but Hoshi beat, "she may be small, but she's like fireworks when she dances, just wait and see" he bragged. My eyes widened at his statement, what does he think he's doing? 

She just kept smiling, "hopefully we'll get to battle tonight then," she challenged, "so I can see for myself." After that, she had been pulled away by some stranger. 

Hoshi and I sat in silence for a second. He shook his head, "I'm sorry," he apologized, "she's always like that." I could tell he was slightly annoyed, but she acted like they were so close.

I let her words fuel my competitive spirit back up. Before I could say anything, Dino and The8 came up from behind me, making me jump. I playfully hit The8, "hey, don't scare me like that!" 

The two sat between me and Hoshi, seeming somewhat out of breath. I listened as the two were informing us about some of the dancers tonight that they noticed. My eyes made contact with Nayeon's from across the room. I suddenly stood up from my seat, "I'm gonna go compete." The look on their faces was complete confusion. 

After a second Hoshi stood up with me. His face shined with excitement, "there's the Minyoung I know!" He smiled at me, giving me another boost of confidence. 

I saw that the other two had almost sour faces. I felt a little bad, they had been dancing their off all night and once they got to sit down, I wanted to go back in. I patted Dino on the shoulder, "you guys can sit this one out," I started, "we can go home when I'm done." 

They both nodded as Hoshi lead me toward the circle Nayeon was dragged off to. I slithered my way through the cheering crowd into the front with Hoshi tailing behind me. We got there just in time, Nayeon had just made her way into the middle. She didn't miss giving me a fierce glare before starting. 

She was confident in her moves, but they were nothing special. Most of them were more on the y side with body rolls and such. She had earned herself a loud cheer from the guys in the crowd. No one else had dared go in after her, except me. 

I went into the middle, hearing Hoshi yelled behind me, "you go girl!" I made sure to maintain eye contact with her the whole time. I made sure to break out my most hard-hitting and difficult moves. When I was done, everyone was cheering for me, I even had a few strangers come up and tell me how awesome that was. 

No one else tried to compete against me, so I won. Heechul came up to me and handed me a wad of money and winked. I was taken back, but before I could react he was already conducting another round.

Hoshi had grabbed my shoulder to get my attention, "we should go find The8 and Dino." I quickly nodded and followed him through the crowd. They were still right where we left them. 

As we walked up they both smiled, "did you win?" Dino asked excitedly, earning him a playful hit from both The8 and Hoshi. 

Hoshi threw an arm over my shoulders, "of course she won!" I chuckled and shook my head, he had too much confidence in me.

The whole way home they were talking about what the next time is going to be like. They kept saying that next time Jun and Woozi should come along and that we would be unstoppable. I couldn't help but disagree, they were good, but I also saw some pretty amazing dancers in there as well.

The house was quiet when we had gotten home, it had seemed that everyone was already in bed. The8 stopped, grabbing our attention, "how about we have a celebration shot for Minyoung's first win?" 

We all quickly agreed and made our way into the kitchen. The8 had filled all our glasses practically to the brim before he took the least full one. He held it up in the air, "to Minyoung's first win!" 

We all grabbed our own glasses and tapped them all together. Dino laughed out of nowhere, "I wish I could have seen Nayeon's face when she lost." I was taken back by his comment. Were they not all friends?

Hoshi shook his head, "she left not too long after Minyoung started dancing." Now that I thought about it, I didn't see her after I had won. 

The8 nudged my arm, "you know she was undefeated right?" My eyes grew as I lifted my eyebrows. Was she really undefeated? He laughed seeing my reaction, "let's just say, she knows how to convince the crowd" he winked and I instantly knew what he meant. 

I scrunched my face and before I could control my mouth, it came pouring out, "then why do you want Woozi to date her?" Hoshi burst out into giggles, knowing something the others didn't. They didn't think anything of his laughter, he was always laughing so it wasn't out of character.

Dino waved his arms in front of him, was I not supported to know? He viscously shook his head, "it's not like that," he explained, "Woozi's never had a girlfriend before so we always about dating her."

Woozi's never had a girlfriend before? I was shocked by this very important information. I wanted to ask him about it, but I knew I couldn't. There was still so much I didn't know about him, he was so mysterious. 

Suddenly I started to feel exhausted, my eyes grew heavy. I stretched the tiredness out of my muscles, "I think I'm going to bed" I said and started to walk away.

I didn't expect anyone to come with me but Hoshi linked arms with me, "I'm going to as well, goodnight guys!" He said, walking away with me. He didn't seem tired at all. I gave him a suspicious look and he sheepishly smiled, "I didn't want to say this in front of them," he explained, "but I think you and Woozi would be so perfect." 

He gave me the cheesiest smile, I couldn't help but laugh at him. As we reached my bedroom door I gave him a genuine smile, "thanks for being a great friend Hoshi."

He chuckled and playfully hit my arm, "no problem, you have to keep me updated with this!" I opened my door, but he had to add one last thing, "and if it's worth saying, I think everyone would support you two."

His words stopped me before I was fully in my room, "goodnight Hoshi, and thank you again" I said closing the door behind me. I leaned against my door, not everyone...
