Onew and Jessica’s plan never really worked. Well, none of them really did something actually. It’s not like it’s needed though.

“ The movie is really good, I glad you chose it,”

“ Really? It’s good th-“

Yuri and Siwon immediately stopped when they saw Minho. 

Minho let out a sigh. He surprised himself that it didn’t hurt anymore. He was surprised that the jealousy and the hatred didn’t last that long. He was surprised that he could let her go that easy. Before, he never been able to imagine how he could live without Yuri.

He continued his walking, unknowingly sent them an awkward smile. “ Hyung, noona,”

Krystal raised her brows.

“ Oppa, I don’t know if my eyes have a problem or not but I don’t think so,” she said to Jonghyun. Both of them were sitting on the edge of almost-finished stage for their SM Town concert. Jonghyun looked at her, his brows raised too.

            “ Huh?”

            “ I have no eyes problem but dang, is Minho oppa glowing?” Jonghyun eyes looked at the direction whatever she looked at. It’s  a who, his bandmate, but that guy was not glowing.

“ Minho? No, he’s not glowing. So you sure have an eyes problem.” Jonghyun shrugged, grinning. Krystal punched his arms playfully.

“ Yah, I don’t. So, is there something happened? He looks so good these days,” Krystal said, forgot who she was talking with. Jonghyun’s grin couldn’t be wider.

“ Ah, I see.” He said in teasing tone.

“ What?” 

“ You like him, don’t you?” Jonghyun just shot her like that. She froze. Jonghyun patted her arms. “ I’ll tell you a good news, but I doubt you’ve known about it,”

“ No, I haven’t known about it. Tell me,”

“ How do you know you haven’t known it?”

“ I just know, okay? Aish,”

“ Okay,” Jonghyun came closer and then whispered to her. “ They’ve broken up,” Krystal sneered.

“ Aish, you’re so late, oppa. I’ve known that,” she laughed.

“ Yah! You said you haven’t!”

“ Yo, guys,” Minho suddenly out of nowhere, waved his hand then took a sit beside Krystal. “ What are you guys talking about? “

“ Oh nothing, are you jealous?” Jonghyun said, again in teasing tone. And the usual serious Minho, that day decided to play along with him.

“ Oh my God, I’m super jealous.” Krystal sent the two a light punch.

“ Yah,” she said, tried to ignore the flying butterflies in her stomach. “ Stop it,” she turned her face to Minho. “ You look good, oppa,”

“ Oh yeah? You’ve just noticed that?” Krystal just sent him a look.

“ Oh my God, you two shouldn’t be in one bedroom,” Krystal smiled and then stood up.

“ Where are you going?” Minho asked.

“ Eh, drink. I want to drink, bye,” she waved then went to the backstage, leaving the two sat still on their spot.

“ Minho-yah, you know that she likes you, right?”

“ Yes,”

“ So?”

“ I don’t know. I…. need time, hyung,”

“ Happy birthday, oppa! See what I’ve got for you!”

“ Merry Christmas, Soo Jung!”

“ Happy New Year! May this new year be lot better!”

“ Happy Valentine! ”

Time passed just like that. Everything just turned out to be a lot better like what people wished for.  Things got better but problem didn’t get through that easy. Minho still had awkward moments whenever he met Siwon or Yuri, they had already started to talk again but it’s still not the same anymore.

He hung out with Krystal lately. In barely three months, they already became best friends. Or more. Minho didn’t know. He’s still confused of his own feelings for her. He’s sure he’d liked her more than before but he didn’t know if it’s just a brother-sister, friend-friend feeling or more.

Minho looked up the ceiling. It’s late at night, at 11.47 p.m to be precise. Minho just bored and he couldn’t sleep. He had done anything, reading science books belonged to no one knows, counting sheeps, went on treadmill, drinking warm chocolate milk, everything. But it’s not effective at all. His eyes still opened wide. He decided to get out from bed again, walked out from the bedroom.

He found the maknae Taemin still awake too in the living room. He sat on the couch, watching another horror movie. Even after years living together, Minho still didn’t understand their youngest member’s behavior. Taemin noticed his presence. He paused the movie.

“ Haven’t gone sleep, hyung?”   he asked.

“ No,” Minho answered simply, sat beside Taemin.“ What are you watching?”

“ Saw six. Want to join?”

“ Okay,” Taemin played the movie again. Minho’s eyes glued to the screen but his mind’s not there. Taemin turned his head to look at him.

“ Is there something wrong?” He asked as he paused the movie again.

“ Ah-what? No,”

“ Yeah, yeah, I’m younger than you but I’m not that fool, hyung. Mind to tell me? What’s it about? What…or who?” Taemin grinned. Minho sent him a look. Was his expression that obvious?

“ Is my expression that obvious?”

“ It’s crystal clear, hyung,” Minho sighed.

“ I don’t know, Tae. I can’t sleep,”

“ And why is it?” Taemin showed him another playful smile.

“ This thing keeps appearing in my mind,”

“ What kind of thing? So it’s a thing, not who,” Taemin nodded his head understandingly. Minho played with his hands.

“ It’s a who actually, I don’t know.” Taemin patted his shoulder.

“ It’s the younger or the older one?”

“ The younger,”

“ Okay then. What’s wrong with the younger?”

“ Nothing’s wrong with her. But her face keeps showing in my mind lately. Even in my dreams. Isn’t scary? Like I mean, it’s like haunting me!”

“ Are they nightmares? Your dreams. Like she’s following you holding an axe, knife, or what?”

“ Aigoo, Tae. You’ve watched this kind of movie too much. No, it’s not like that. Actually they’re pretty good dreams.”

“  Like what?”

“ Uh….” Minho looked at his feet, hesitated if he should tell Taemin or not. Taemin didn’t say a word, he waited. “ You know, there’s one dream when I went to the beach with you guys and she was there too, laughing, playing with us, playing with me. But there’s only her, there’s no the other f(x) girls. Then in the other dream, I wake up in this one really bright morning, and I was still in bed, then she stepped in the room, smiling at me then-“

“ Then?” Taemin eyes widened, curious.

“ Then she gave a glass of milk to me. Yeah, it’s something like that,” Minho smiled to the younger one.

“ Aigoo hyung, are you kidding me? Are you really older than me?” Taemin brought his hand to covered his face in frustation. “ I thought it’s not your first time! When you’re falling in love with the older one, it wasn’t like that? You didn’t dream about her?”

“ I dreamt.”

“ Then?”

“ It’s different you know…” Minho’s face turned red. Taemin lips formed an ‘o’ but he wasn’t surprised at all.

“ Aigoo my hyung…” he clicked he tongue and grinned. Minho punched his shoulder.

“ It’s not like that! Aish, this kid. So back to the topic, okay?”

“ What’s the topic anyway?” Minho only sent him a look. Taemin giggled. “ So yeah, Krystal’s face keeps appearing in your mind it’s almost scary.” Taemin stated. Minho nodded.

“ Tell me more.” Taemin tilted his head, thinking. “ How’s your feeling when you see her?”

“ It’s okay. It’s good. I like to see her.”

“ No butterflies in your stomach?”

“ What? No, but my stomach feels weird whenever we talk. By the way, how can you have butterflies in your stomach? She ever said something like that too before…”

“ No, forget it. Next question. How’s your feeling when you hear her voice?”

“ Her voice is good. Aigoo, you know I still have to learn more about singing!”

“ It’s not about the technique or what, hyung. It’s about your feeling! Do you like listening to her voice? Have you ever been bored listening to it?”

“ No. Her voice is something, it’s not usual. It’s not like Sica-noona’s or any other singers’. Yeah, it’s different and of course it’s not boring. I think I can listening to her voice and her laugh for a really long time,” Taemin nodded understandingly.

“ You can be yourself when you’re with her,” he didn’t asked Minho, he stated. Minho agreed with his statement tough. “ You feel like free,”

“ That! That’s it,” Minho pointed at Taemin’s face.

“ Okay, okay, I get it,” Taemin put Minho’s hand away from his face. “ It’s obvious. It’s crystal clear. “

“ What’s obvious?”

“ You like her.”

“ Aigoo, Tae, of course I like her. How can you dislike your own friend?” Taemin rolled his eyes.

“ Jesus! My, it’s not like that, okay, hyung. Not that way. Her face appears in your mind these days just telling you that you have feelings for her. More than brother-sister and friend-friend feeling,”

“ How do you know, Tae? How can you look so sure?” Minho pouted. How can the maknae seemed to know more stuffs than him.

“ I’ve ever fallen in love, okay.” Taemin said nonchalantly. This time, it’s Minho’s lips which formed the ‘o’.

“ Oh my, when? You never told me!”

“ It’s years ago, and you don’t know her. She’s from my school, not a trainee, and it’s not important.” Taemin sighed. Minho couldn’t help but hugged Taemin tightly.

“ Poor this kid. It didn’t go well?”

“ No, she’s kind and all but she’s not a Shawol. She’s a Beauty.” Taemin released himself from Minho’s hug. Minho nodded understandingly.

“ So do you think I’m in love with her?”

“ Yeah, according to Lee Taemin,  this Choi Minho of Shinee is positive in falling in love with that Krystal Jung from f(x). Clear?”

“ Crystal clear. Thank you so much, Tae.” Minho hugged Taemin one last time before went back to his bedroom, with a smile across his face.

Minho asked his other members. Jonghyun laughed at him, Key sent him his ‘duh’ look, and Onew just patted his shoulder. But in conclusion, all the answer was same. It’s either yes or positive.

“ Are you sure?” Minho asked Onew for the last time that day. Onew smiled at him.

“ Based on your story, I think it’s a yes. But I don’t know. Think about it deeply, listen to your heart and make it sure one hundred percent that you love her, not just using her as replacement of Yuri noona,”
