“Mr. President?”

Mr. Tuan raised his head as he heard his secretary’s voice inside his office. He fixed his eyeglasses and eyed Mr. Oh. “Mr. Oh, were you able to find out what my son has been doing these past few days? Is he messing around with girls again?” He sighed. “I need to set up blind dates for that punk”.

“I don’t think that is still necessary, Mr. President”, his secretary answered.

The old man raised his eyebrows and asked, “What are you talking about?”

Mr. Oh handed a folder. Mr. Tuan took it and carefully inspected the contents. Inside were photographs of two kids, a boy and a girl, and a man who looked familiar to him. “Who are these kids, Mr. Oh?”

“Mr. President, those are your son’s children, hence, your grandchildren”. He calmly explained.

Mr. Tuan was in shock. “Ho- how did this happen? Who’s the mother?”

“There is no mother. That skinny guy holding their hands,” pointing at the picture, “bore those kids. It seems skeptical but I verified it and it was true”.

“Who is this man? What connection did he have to my son? He seemed familiar”.

“He was our former employee.  Apparently, they dated for several months but for some unknown reason, he left the country immediately. The kids were born and raised in Thailand and just came back recently in Korea”.

Mr. Tuan’s eyes were squinting as he examined the photos. There was a long silence.

“Do you know where they live?”

“Yes,” Mr. Oh answered.

 It had been almost a week or two since Mark and Bambam settled an agreement concerning the kids.

“Please don’t take the kids away from me, Mark”.

Mark shook his head.”Of course not, you have their custody and I respect that. But can you at least let me spend time with them? I want to make it up for the children and be a father-figure to them”.

Bambam smiled. “Thank you. Of course I would let you be with the children, you have a right as their father. Perhaps, we can do an arrangement?”

“Yes,” Mark smiled.

 That explained why every morning, Mark would go to their house to drop them off at school, As part of the agreement, he could take the children to places on Saturdays only. It may seem only a little time but Mark was more than grateful to Bambam in reality.

“Jae! Min! Hurry, your dad is on his way. Be ready”.

Min called Bambam’s attention by pulling his shirt. “Papa, why won’t you come with us?”

“I’m sorry Min, I can’t. This is your time with daddy. I can’t let that take away from him, okay?”

Min pouted, obviously disappointed. Bambam sighed and kissed his daughter’s forehead. “Sorry Min”. Suddenly he heard a car engine in front of the house and a knock on the door.

“Daddy!” Jae screamed and hastily opened the door.

Mark appeared in front of the door with gleaming eyes, wrapping his arms around his son. He looked exceptionally more handsome today (not that there was ever a time he wasn’t). His hair was styled up, and unlike his usual formal business attire, he wore smart casual: jeans, dark-blue blazer and a pair of shoes that matched his brown T-shirt. He pulled off that boyfriend look well - a perfect boyfriend material. Bambam had not realized he was staring too much until Mark looked at him eye-to-eye.

“Bambam…?”

“Eh?” his cheeks blushed out of embarrassment. “Yes, th-they need to go now. C’mon kids, time to go to school. He pulled Min’s hand but the young girl did not budge. Bambam gave her a questioning look and asked, “What’s wrong, honey?” He noticed his daughter’s pout and a pool of tears forming around her eyes.

“I’m not going to school” she stubbornly replied.

“Min, haven’t we talked about this matter?” Bambam whispered. “I cannot go with you”.

“Are you ashamed because we have two daddies?” she sniffed.
