Chapter Nine
A Chance to LoveMark took Bambam to the nearest coffee shop. Fortunately there were only a few people inside. That was what they need at the time - a private moment for the two of them. Mark offered Bambam a cup of coffee but he declined, saying a glass of water would suffice.
They were seated in silence. Bambam's eyes were down casted and he was holding the glass tight. The older wanted to initiate a conversation to lighten the mood. But how? After their unexpected meeting last time, he didn't know how to approach Bambam.
Mark was watching him. For the long time they had not seen each other, not so much had changed. He still looks beautiful, Mark thought. Just like the first time they had seen each other, Mark was still captivated by his beauty.
*Flashback
"Mark, honey, what time are you coming home?" He checked his watch. It's almost past 10 in the evening.
"Hi mom. Sorry I forgot to track the time. I don't think I can come home for dinner. I have something to finish first. Sorry."
His mom sighed. "Sure but after that, go home straight. Okay?"
"Promise". Mark hit the end button and stretched his arms. He stood up to make himself a cup of coffee but he found out he ran out of it. He decided then to take a short walk to the nearest cafe.
The whole building was dark and Mark could guess he was the only person left in the whole area until he passed by the advertising department. The office's light was still on and Mark could guess someone was still working. He peeked through the door and there he saw him.
"Oh.. the newbie". He muttered. Mark didn't know what happened but he just stood there, watching the guy from afar. "He's really cute, isn't he?" He thought. When he saw the guy's head fell, Mark was worried for a moment until he heard him snoring. He wanted to laugh. He carefully opened the door and went inside. He silently sat on the nearest chair and watched his sleeping face.
"Bambam" Mark read. He was observing him, looking at every detail of Bambam's face. But what captured him the most was his luscious lips. "How does it feel to be kissed by you?"
*End of flashback
Mark never expected that that day would come and that it would happen not once.. But the last time they kissed and held each other left him nothing but heartache: a pain he could not moved from. Apast he wished to leave behind but was now coming back to him. Fate really knew how to play its game and after a long time because of Jae and Min.
Jae and Min? Mark suddenly remembered. Didn't they call Bambam appa? Who is their mom? He wondered.
As if hearing Mark's thoughts, Bambam cleared his voice and spoke. "I... I'm here.. To talk to you about something.. It's Jae and Min.."
The older one could sense the nervousness in Bambam's voice. "Can you tell me about their mom?"
Bambam, who was playing with his fingers as he talked to Mark stopped. He inhaled and exhaled then replied "It was I who bore the children".
What? Why is he speaking with vague words? "I'm sorry but i cannot make a head or tail of it. What do you-?"
"I said," pausing Mark from speaking, "there is no mother. It was I who gave birth to the kids".
"What on earth are you talking about?" Asked by confused Mark.
"That's what it means". Bambam responded.
Mark leaned back and closed his eyes. A flash of memory was coming back to him.
"We don't have a mommy. We have two daddies!" He remembered Jae telling him once.
"Their daddy got pregnant by another guy" it was Jimin who told him. "But their other dad left them before
