I asked for a a good hand yet you gave me the best feet
I wanted a brilliant brain yet you gave me an excellent body
I asked for a piano but you gave me a pair of ice skates

was giving me what I really wanted that hard?

When I finally learned how to love my feet
I was crippled
when I started to appreciate my body
all I got was pain
When I finally got the best skates
I never got the chance to wear them long enough
