Ji Eun awoke in the dimly lit closet, light seeping under the door.She could here the door slam assuring her father had left for the day.Taking the book she had slid under the door from it's spot she wrapped her hand around the cool metal of the door knob.Pulling her ear buds from her ear on by one she searched for her clocks' blue light.
'6:07' read the small numbers,her eyes widened.If she wasn't ready in at least ten minutes she would be late for class.Hurrying to her closet her eyebrows tugged together as she tried to find what to wear.She didn't have many clothes but the ones she did have were becoming worn out from wearing them too much.
Her outfit was made up of a pair of black sneakers that were dirty and worn,a plain white t-shirt,and black tights that were ripping at the seems.A dark blue jacket was thrown in too as she hurried to brush her teeth. Her hair was soon pulled into a messy ponytail,loose strands of hair framed her face.
She grabbed her three black bracelets and covered the scars that decorated her wrist.She saw a slight bruise where her father had slapped her the night before,but didn't bother to cover it up,just coming up with a lie to tell the teacher.That is if they asked.

Her walk to school was long and painful, sleeping in a closet with her legs having no place to be stretched was what had caused her problems. The school was in her eyesight 'Areum High' the sign that stood in front if the large building read.She kept her head hung low while entering the filled halls,pulling her hood up to cover her face.The once loud halls became quiet as she walk pass students and staff.
Whispers of hurtful words surrounded her,but she drowned them out.Her hand reached into her pocket for her mp3.player the light bouncing off the silver colored music player. Turning it on she noticed it only had thirty minutes of battery left;deciding to save it for
