Letters From a Forgotten LoverI arrived at the military training base this morning, with all my personal belongings in a backpack. Not much was allowed for me to take. Most of my civilian clothes aren't appropriate, so I mainly just brought socks and underwear. Aside from that, just paper and some pens for writing. I got a few strange looks from the intake guys at the few belongings I brought. Apparently, most guys try to bring in or personal laptops and stuff.
Jinki stopped by and said hello while I was getting shown to my barracks. He looks good. Ready to go home, but good. He looked sad too, though I think that was meant for me. It was good to see him, even though he was only at the base for his assignment. He left before lunch.
My... I guess I'll call them roommates, are all non-idols. Most of them have at least heard of SHINee though. A few of them seem hesitant to be around me. Looking in the mirror, I can understand. I look more than a little unstable. When I took out pen and paper and started writing this, I heard a few of the guys whispering. Probably about me. I don't really care. I'm here to do my duty for my country, and to find myself again. Whatever they have to say about me doesn't matter.
Kibummie, I'm going to do my best here. I can't sing for you just now, it hurts too much. But I will accept my responsibility and heal before I return to you.
Love you always,
Jonghyun
