Chapter 5 : The Song and I Love You

‘DING DONG. DING DONG…’ the door bell rang… I ran to the door and open it.

“Hello! Xiao Xun.” Arron said.

“Oh..Hie! Come in^^” I said cheerfully.

Arron stepped into my house.

“Whao..nice house you have.^^”

“Thanks^^Have a sit! (:”

“Who’s that dear?” My mum shouted from her room.

“Oh..its my friend.He is here to work on our competition music piece.” I answered her.

“Oh..ok^^ have fun” My mum said.

“Who is that?” Arron asked.

“Oh..my mum..hehe..she is SO obsessed im Korean drama. So she is in her room watchin all the shows.” I told Arron

“Oh I See..like my mum. She also like Korean dramas…hahas.”

“O.o! whao..hahas..wonder what has gotten into all mums.” I said.

“Yea! HAHAHA”

“Hmm..why don’t we start now?”

“Ok^^”

I brought Arron to my room. In there, there stood a grand black piano. I sit down on the piano.

“Come, sit beside me.” I told Arron

“Ok…^^”

Arron walked over and sit beside me. His fingers run through the key board.He closed his eyes and play through all the chords. I looked at his face. Eyelashes are quite long, A nose which is not to sharp or not to flat. A very y lips.

“Hmm…F major sounds nice.” Arron said suddenly with his eyes still closed.

“Oh…really?”

“Yup.” He continued to say with his eyes closed.

He play a very nice tune with his eyes still closed.

I followed Arron and closed my eyes, I listened to the tune. It was very sweet, calming. Suddenly, Arron stopped.

“Why stop? Its nice.” I asked him

“Hmm…I cant seem to continue. After the introduction.” He told me.

“Erm…can I try?” I asked him.

“Ok…” he moved a little to another side.

I moved in a little. I closed my eyes and played the tune which he played just now. Arron too, closed his eyes and listened to the tune. Like magic, I can play it without stopping. But,I suddenly stop when I reach the chorus.

“Why stop?” Arron asked the same question as me previously.

“Hmm…like you..cant continue.” I said.

“Oh…”

I looked at the clock. Its already half past 7. I turned to Arron

“Arron, wanna stay for dinner? Its late now.” I asked him.

He looked at his watch.

“OMG! Its so late already! I still have a date with Guigui on 8pm!” he shouted.

Guigui again! Is she so important?

“Oh…ok…go quickly. She wont like it if you are late.” I said with disappointment.

“I’m so sorry…maybe next time?” Arron said.

“Its ok..go now. Your getting late!” I answered.

“Ok…see you at school tomorrow! And I’ll treat you lunch tomorrow! Uh..no lunch cannot..dinner?” he asked.

“Ok..no problem..go now la! Guigui is wating!” I called.

“Ok! Thanks!” Arron said as he put on his shoes and ran into his car.

I watched Arron go. My heart ache. Why will he like Guigui? I don’t understand. I felt tears trickling down my cheeks. [listen to ku cha now]

Guigui’s POV

Where is that Arron! Its 7.45 already! Arghh…when he come later on, I make sure he pay!

“Gui! I’m so sorry that I’m late. So sorry.” A voice pop out.

I turned around and saw Arron

“Arron Yan Ya Lun! Where are you? Why are you so late?” I shouted at him.

“I’m so sorry darling. I’m at Xiao Xun’s house just now.”

I raised my eyebrow. “ Xiao Xun? Why are you with her?” I asked him

“Teacher want us to join in the coming competition. So we decided to work on it today.” Arron told me.

“Oh…ok…anyway. Where are we going to eat?” I asked him

“You will know later ^^” Arron told me with a cheeky smile. “Hop in!”

I went inside his car. He started his engine and brought me to a restaurant. It’s called Beautiful Melody.

We went inside the restaurant and order our food. We eat our dinner like for eternity. After dinner, Arron brought me to the beach.

“Close your eyes.” Arron said.

“Why?” I asked.

“Just do it”

“Ok…” I closed my eyes.

Arron lead my out of the car and to the beach.

“You can open your eyes now.” Arron told me.

I opened my eyes. I couldn’t believe what I saw. In front of me, there is a bunch of candles which form a heart shape. In the heart shape. There is some words. It says: Happy 2nd Anniversary!

Suddenly, there is a sound of fireworks.I looked up and saw the fireworks formed into the words : Guigui, I Love You ~Arron~

I’m so touched when I saw all these.

“ Like it?” Arron asked.

“Yes^^” My eyes are now watery.

“Aww..honey,don’t cry.” Arron said.

“Ok.” I wiped away my tears.

Me and Arron lie down on the soft sand. I lied on his chest.

“Arron. Why you did all this things?” I asked him

Arron my hair softly and answered “ Because I love you.”

“I love you too.” I told Arron. I closed my eyes and slept.
