Chapter 16:I guessed…Goodbye?

“Xiao Xun…Mrs Wu said I had a very good potential in singing and wants me to go to Canada to push me up more.” I looked at Xiao Xun

“What?! So you are going?” Xiao Xun asked.

“I guess so… It’s a very good chance for me to… forget him.” I felt tears trickling down my cheeks.

“Aww…Guigui, don’t cry… But, are you sure that you want to go?” Xiao Xun looked at me.

“I guessed so…” I sighed.

“But… wont you miss him?”

“I don’t know…” I was trying to stop my tears from falling.

“Gui, whatever you do… follow your heart. Okays?” Xiao Xun hugged me.

“Ok.” I nodded my head.

Hebe’s POV

“Arron.” I called out.

“Yea?” He answered.

We were at the park near our school.

“Do you like me?” I asked. Not hoping he will answer me.

“I…”

“You can don’t answer you know.” I continued.

“I… I don’t know.” He finally said.

“O” I was about to say when Arron cut me off.

“But…maybe we can try out this relationship?” Arron continued.

“Really?” My eyes widened. I’m not listening to things right?

“I guess so. So you free tonight?” Arron asked.

“Yups.” I nodded my head.

“Want to catch a movie?” He said.

“Okay.” I answered.

“I’ll go pick you up.” Arron said.

“Okay.” I nodded.

“Lets go home now.” He stood up from the bench.

I stood up and followed him.

“I’m home auntie!” I shouted from below.

“Okay! Have you eaten?” Guigui’s mother came out from the kitchen.

“Yea… where’s Guigui?” I looked around.

“She’s upstairs packing.” She said

“What for?” I asked.

“She said her teacher asked her if she want to go to Canada to pursue her singing studies and she agreed. So she is packing.” Guigui’s mother answered.

“Oh, I’ll go look for her.” I said as I went upstairs.

‘KNOCK KNOCK’

“Come in!” Guigui shouted from inside.

I went in and closed the door behind me.

“Gui…” I started saying.

“I’ll be going soon. Tomorrow.” She said immediately.

“So fast?” I was shocked.

“Yups. The faster the better.” She said without looking up.

“But…” I said

“I’ll be going and its final.” She said.

“Okay…” I said.

“If there is nothing else, can you please go out? I need to pack up.” She said coldly.

“Ok…I’ll go out.” I turned and went out.

Guigui’s POV

I’m sorry Hebe..but I must do this…

Arron’s POV

“So what movie you want to watch?” I asked Hebe while focusing on the road.

“Anything.” She answered briefly.

I looked at her. She seemed to be troubled

“What happened?” I asked.

“Arron.” She said softly.

“Yea?” I answered while I’m still focusing on the road.

“Do you know that Guigui is leaving?” She said

“She is leaving?” I didn’t know that! Yea right. I’m not her boyfriend. So why would she tell me.

“Yes. Tomorrow.” She said again.

“What?! So fast?” I shouted loudly.

“Yes. So I think… can we cancel tonight’s date?” She asked

“If that’s what you want.” I shrugged.

I make a U-turn and drive back to Hebe’s house. After Hebe went back, I went for a walk. Guigui is leaving tomorrow.. and tomorrow is my competition with Xiao Xun… why must she choose to leave tomorrow? Why is she always like that? Cant she change at least abit? Arghh… I don’t want to think about this anymore. I started the car engine and drove off.
