“No, I’m good; thanks anyway, Seohyun-ah.” Taeyeon took her time getting to her bedroom.

Jessica was still up. “You alright, Taeyeon?”

Taeyeon nodded wholeheartedly. “Don’t worry about me anymore; I’m completely fine.”

Jessica smirked. “Okay, what happened?”

“I don’t wanna talk about it!” the leader crawled under her blankets and closed her eyes.

Half an hour later, Taeyeon opened her eyes again and stared at the dull ceiling. “Jessica?”

“Yeah?”

“Are you up?”

“Obviously; I’m talking to you, right?”

“Oh, okay.”

“What’s the matter?” Jessica asked, turning on her side in her bed so she could look at Taeyeon.

“Nothing.”

“Do you mean that?” the brunette prodded.

“Yeah.”

“Does this have to do with Leeteuk?”

“...Maybe.”

“Well, you know what they say,” Jessica smiled softly.

“No, what?” Taeyeon wondered.

“You know you can’t sleep when reality is suddenly better than your dreams.”
