“Taeyeon, do you like Leeteuk?” Kangin asked randomly, when the couple decided to take a walk.

“Well, yeah, he’s a good oppa of mine.” Taeyeon frowned, stopping.

Kangin turned back, a foot away from her and raised an eyebrow. “No, not like that.”

“What do you mean then?” Taeyeon lowered her voice.

“Do you even love me?”

“What?” Taeyeon whispered. “Why are you asking that? Of course I do, Kangin!”

“Then why are you going out with Leeteuk behind my back?” Kangin exploded.

“Going out?” Taeyeon repeated.

“Don’t deny it; I’ve seen Leeteuk leave the dorm sometimes.” Kangin folded his arms and stared angrily.

“We’re friends!” Taeyeon retorted.

“I don’t want you seeing him anymore unless you need to.” Kangin concluded.

“You can’t control me.” Taeyeon took a step back.

“It’s either him or me. Choose.”

“You can’t make me just...choose between two people!”

“I see how it is then,” Kangin turned around, so his back was to Taeyeon. “We’re done.”

“We’re...”

“Done,” Kangin roared. “Don’t even think about talking to me again. It’s obvious you don’t care for me if you’re torn between me and my hyung.”

“But I do!” Taeyeon cried frantically. “I care!”

“Get out of here, Taeyeon.”

And then she was alone.

“Jungsu?”

“Taeyeon, are you crying?”

“U-Um--”

“Taeyeon.”

“Y-Yeah, but don’t worry. I j-just need to ask y-you something.”

“Taeyeon--”

“N-No, answer my question, okay?”

“Alright.”

“What do you r-really think of m-me?”

“You--what?” Jungsu frowned.

“Answer my q-question.”

“Answer mine first,” Jungsu began gently. “Why did you call Kangin my name?”

“F-Forget it, I’ll talk to you t-tomorrow.”

“Wait, Taeyeon!”

And he hoped he would be able to get the answer out of her.

Maybe tomorrow.

The only reason Jungsu could think of that would explain Taeyeon’s tears was Kangin.

He was getting so tired of this, of Kangin.

So tired.
