My heart beat rapidly as I ran across the forest floor. I could feel the pressence of something from behind me, chasing after the foot steps I left behind. It was like this every time I had this dream. My feet would be dragging along as I tried to run faster, but nothing could be done no matter how much I willed my legs to move faster I could only move at the pace of a dying animal. I would be trapped in a maze-like forest seemingly lost and unsure where to turn next, and then there would be the looming figure from behind me.

I would always find myself running until finally I manage to find the exit of the forest, but it was always too soon that I would feel relief. As soon as I think everything is safe and that I can relax a cliff would come upon me, and everytime before I can do anything my legs would take me over the edge and I would plummet from the top, until finally I would jolt awake from the exhausting dream.

It was no different this time. I reached the clearing of the forest and I could feel my body gradually relaxing into a state of calm. My body continued to run forward and I was conscious of what was going to happen next now, this being already my fifth time having the dream.

Just as I felt the ground disapear from beneath me and I could feel gravity pull me down something suddenly pulled me back from my arm.

The shock from the pull made me turn around and the first thing I saw was a boy. He seemed to be around my age with dark brown hair just ever so slightly above his eyes. He seemed to be gasping for air as if he had ran a marathon.

"Are you alright?" His breath was hot against my face because of how close he was to me. He almost felt real, but the weirdest part was I had never seen this boy before I couldn't place him anywhere in my memories. Yet, here he was.

My body jolted up from my bed and I could feel the light shean of sweat on my face. "What was that?" The dream had never ended like that before, and usually people in your dreams would seem blurry and you would easily forget what happened, but as I was already leaving for school I found that boy's face still vividly reappearing in my head.

I decided to shake it off since there was no point in worrying over something like a dream. Maybe I had seen him on tv in one of those idol groups while flipping through channels, or even in a magazine. He did seem decent looking enough to be one of those. Either way I couldn't let it affect my daily life. Dreams were meant to stay as dreams anyways.

My first class was always boring because it was an X period class. So basically I had a class before school would actually start. It wasn't really because I had bad grades, my grades were good enough to get me into a decent college. It was just because my parents were adamant about me becoming a doctor so they insisted on me taking the X period class for science. 

It wasn't like it would kill me so I decided to go along with it just to appease them, but I wasn't planning on being a doctor either.

I took my seat as I regularly would and the class was pretty small since it was so early in the morning, but I was always the last one to get there since I lived pretty far from school and I had to walk.

The teacher came in as she usally would five minutes late, she clearly wasn't a morning person either. "Alright students, settle down." That was her lame way of trying to make a joke since everyone was already half asleep.

She placed her things down at her desk. "So before we start our lessons today I would like to introduce you all to a new student that just transferred to our school. He will be joining us in our morning classes." She then motioned towards the open door for this new student to come in.

I wasn't really that interested in the new student so I decided to flip through the pages of my book. "Hi, my name is Kim Taehyung. It is nice to meet you all I hope we can get along well."

There were whispers surrounding the class. Suddenly everyone decided to wake up. "Alright, Taehyung why don't you take the seat next to Lee Rian. Rian can you please raise your hand."

Finally looking up to see this new student I raised my hand and simultaneously met eyes with him. My heart paused for a moment, and I could see he was just as surprised to see me.

This was the boy from my dream, and clearly he recognized me too. Maybe not all dreams were meant to stay as dreams.
