When Alice is Forgotten For a Day
Shh! Don't Disturb Others! {DISCONTINUED please look @ "About Me" in profile for further info}Sunyoul couldn't help but rub his eyes upon the sight he was met with when he first came here because oh my gawd
is Wooshin actually studying for once?!
He stays frozen with an empty cart in front of him, feeling amazed at the sight of Wooshin who seemed slightly frustrated but extremely focused in whatever he was trying to write down for.
The volunteer slowly steps closer to the red-haired boy's back before tapping on his shoulder, causing the boy to jolt out of surprise and turn to face Sunyoul, who giggled at his surprised face. He was curious though, "What class are you doing this work for?"
Wooshin picks up the paper and points at the top with 'English' in bolded letters there.
At this, Sunyoul pouts, "Wooshin, it's been six weeks since you told me that you had a sore throat. I'm starting to think that you're that teasing me now."
To which Wooshin blinks, thinks for a moment, shrugs, and continues working on his English homework.
"And now you're ignoring me?" Sunyoul muttered under his breath. He didn't have anything else to do anyways, so he pulls the chair out beside Wooshin and sits on it, looking at all of the sheets of paper laying on the table. All of the worksheets were unfamiliar, so he asks, "What school are you from?"
Papers were shuffled around a bit until Wooshin took out a familiar notepad, flipping to a blank page and writing down something before pushing it over to the table part of in front of Sunyoul.
Homeschooled. Might move though. Come with? ;P
Yes he blushed a light pink, but what was written down confused him, "'Might move'? What do you mean?"
As you can see, writing on a notepad when Wooshin could probably speak comfortably now was not a very efficient way of communicating. Sunyoul ended up tapping his foot a bit impatiently when Wooshin continued writing something in English instead of on the notepad.
"Wooshin!"
Said boy looks up and over to Sunyoul before writing down a question mark on the paper.
Sunyoul is very aware that he is pouting right now, "What do you mean by you might move?"
Family is thinking of moving back to Daejeon. Wanna come with? We could get an extra ticket.
"You do realize that we're still teenagers, right? I highly doubt that I can follow you and all of that complicated stuff," Sunyoul sighs.
The red-haired boy pouts before writing down, Where do your parents live?
He blinks before answering with, "Seoul."
And where are we?
"Wando. They wanted me to live in a rural area with attention from at least my relatives instead of being neglected in a busy urban area."
And who are you living with?
"My uncle..." Sunyoul murmurs, knowing where this is going.
If you can live with your uncle all the way on basically the other side of the country then it shouldn't be that much of a problem of convincing them to go to Daejeon -3- That way you can get my attention if you're so jealous of my English homework.
Flustered, Sunyoul looks up to Wooshin and sees that the other is smirking. He abruptly stands up out of embarrassment, "No I'm not! I-I-I'll tink about your o-offer later..." and immediately heads over to grab the cart and go back downstairs.
This honestly felt weird- and what Sunyoul meant by that- is how he was heading out to the park across the street from the library (as Jungkook said when asked about where Wei and the children).
Once he reached the park, he immediately saw a jumping castle and picnics set all around it with colorful balloons attached to the baskets and coolers as the familiar children ran around and played. He catches sight of Wei sitting with Jisoo, putting a band-aid on the little boy's cheek.
"What happened to Jisoo-yah?" Sunyoul nearly panics at the sight of Jisoo's body covered with scrapes and such, running over and kneeling down.
"The kid tripped and fell when he got out of the jumping castle, which was unluckily placed on the sandy area instead of the grassy area," Wei sighs, taking a roll of bandages and wrapping it around Jisoo's knee.
"Jisssoooooo!"
The three look up to see Jeonghan and Junhui running over to them from the swingset far away from the jumping castle.
"Yah just because I don't like it when you're with Jeonghan doesn't mean that I want you dead!" Junhui immediately yells once they reach him.
"Are you okay?" Jeonghan asked worriedly.
"I'm fine, I just fell. And you should be smiling since it's your birthday party," Jisoo said, looking at Jeonghan.
"But..."
"As long as the princess is safe the prince is fine!" Jisoo smiled, and that's when Junhui frowned like how their usual fights go.
"Jeonghan will never be with you!" Junhui stuck out his tongue and ran off, making Jeonghan chase after him and yelling, "Junhui where are you going?!"
Sunyoul and Wei would've groan like usual but it seemed like the fight was more serious than usual. Wei gets up, saying, "I'll go find them. Take care of Jisoo, okay?" before running off in the direction the other two went to, which happened to be the entrance and exit of the park.
A moment of silence passed before Sunyoul sighed in a tired manner, "Why does it feel like everyone's ignoring me..." before grabbing the loose bandage and tightening it firmly in place before tying it off.
"They're not ignoring you, they're paying attention to something else," Jisoo said.
"You knew what I meant?"
"I read books more than you think!" Jisoo pouts, "My vocabulary is a lot bigger than you think."
"Well your imagination is as big as your vocabulary then," Sunyoul couldn't help but smile.
"I wasn't lying when I said that I'm going to marry Jeonghan..." and murmurs something inaudible where Sunyoul could barely hear Los Angeles in the sentence. He didn't get the chance to ask though when Wei came back and plopped down beside Jisoo.
Wei quickly explains that Junhui had ran back to the library with Jeonghan and he simply chose to let Jungkook watch over the two and come back after Junhui was okay.
"Sunyoul-umma was jealous."
Man did the kid not know how to take a hint.
"Oh, really?" Wei mischievously grins.
"Ahh I give up on today!" Sunyoul felt his face warm up for the nth time today and simply- well- gave up by curling up into a fetal position and ignoring Wei's poking and teasing, hoping Jeonghan would come back soon to start cutting the cake.
