I tensed until I stopped scrolling the song list from my iPod when Soonyoung suddenly confessed that he couldn't dance and he was banned from doing so.

I trained my eyes on him and my gaze softened when Soonyoung's still looking on the ground, with his eyes tightly shutted. 

Was that the reason why he told me that I was lucky for entering so many competitions? 

But why? Did something bad had happened to him before? 

There's a pregnant silence for a couple of minutes until Soonyoung suddenly fell down to his knees and then switched to a sitting position with his legs crossed. I put my iPod back inside my pocket and reflect his action but instead, I sat down facing him. 

Realizing that Soonyoung is trying his best to avoid my eyes, I reluctantly stuttered, "It's okay i-if you want... t-to go h-home," 

Why am I stuttering? I mentally face-palmed myself for that and quickly fiddled with my fingers as it was the most interesting thing ever.

Soonyoung traced his index finger on a pebble in front of us, "This pebble, see at how different it looked," he calmly stated as he lifted the small pebble at his eye level, probably inspecting the look closely. 

I took the chance to scan my eyes on the pebble and raised my brows because he was right at how different the pebble looked from the other pebbles beneath us.

Physically, the pebble looked kind of unique from the other as it was covered with a darker grey and a lighter grey which patterned the whole pebble. I took a glance under us and realized the other pebbles are only covered with plain dark grey with nothing patterned on it. 

I cocked one of my eyebrows and mentally questioning myself as to why did he asked me about pebbles all of sudden. "The physical look of this pebble looked different from the others if you looked closely. Yeah, it dosen't stands out and the physical is different from the other pebbles, but the strength of the pebbles are the same. If we throw them in the water, they'll sink right?" As if he was reading my mind, he slowly explained and a bitter laugh left his lips as he finished his words.

What is his point of telling me this? I mentally snap my fingers as I maybe figured out what was he trying to tell me. 

I cleared my throat and dared myself to stare into Soonyoung's small, dark brown eyes, "So you're injured somewhere right?"
