She had always loved the rain.
There was something comforting about the rhythmic pitter-patter and something lulling about the darkness that accompanied the earth’s tears. The rain seemed to wipe off all that was dirty and make everything clean again. It was like giving every living being a second chance. It made the earth seem… alive.
