Campfire
Is he the one?"Yea, of course. It was how we fell in love."
_____________________________________________________________________________3 years ago during the camp...
Gunwoo didn't knew why, but he felt that he had to hold you back.
Before you could go, he grabbed your arm.
"Yah, I'm not trying to be mean."
"Then why do you treat everyone like this?"
"I don't come from a good family. Yea, my parents might be rich, but what's the use of all this money, without parental love?"
You could see a glimpse of sadness in his eyes.
"Ohh. Don't you have friends in Korea?"
"My best friends are all in Korea."
"We are in the same state. Our friends are not with us."
"But at least you have your parents' support don't you?"
You nodded. You were your parents' only child and they treated you with lots of love and care.
"By the way, why are you even here? Why aren't you with them?" he pointed to the crowd around the campfire.
"it's getting boring. Why? Am I bothering you?" you showed him a sad expression.
"No." he chuckled.
"It's nice to see you smile. You should do it more often. Even though you already know me, I'll introduce myself. I'm Park ~~~~~. Be my friend?" you held you hand out.
He stared at your hand but took it with a smile.
"You are the first one here to ask to be my friend."
_____________________________________________________________________________"So I was oppa's first friend in America huh?" you laughed.
"yah, I still have other friends ok."
"Neh, anything you say." you teased.
When you reached your doorstep, Gunwoo leaned in to give you a goodbye kiss.
"Bye oppa!"
"Bye, sleep well!"
