Yeonra's POV


 

I don't know what came over me when I agreed to stay with Yoochun, but something's telling me that something WAS going to happen tonight..................and I have a feeling that it's not going to be good. 'Or will it?'



Yoochun and I sat down on the right side of the bridge where he sat before I found him. I gave him a disapproving look at first because I thought it was better if we both just talked someplace else. But it seemed like he read my mind when he immediately said,

"Come on......sit beside me...........It's okay, I won't do anything, I promise." Pshh...Promise is a big word for you Yoochun, don't you think?


So there we were, sitting on the bridge, looking out at the night sky, and........Hey! This isn't a date, okay!

To break the awkward silence, I found myself asking Yoochun something that I feared to ask him after the 'incident'........
 

"Yoochun......" I started

"Hmm?" He turned to face me

"W-wh-what happened to....well, you know..........us?" After I spoke, he looked at me with eyes of disbelief. I bet he didn't expect that I would ask him that either.

"If I explain myself to you this time, will you believe me?"

"............just tell your side first."

 

"Okay then. Of course you remember 'that' night right?" I nodded "After what happened, I really wanted to be with you..........tell you how sorry I was for not letting go immediately, tell you how much I love you, and how it was a mistake. The girl you saw.....she was drunk. She came up to me that night at the club and kissed me."


He looked intently into my eyes as he continued what he was saying "It was all just wrong timing, Yeon-ah."



                                        'Yeon-ah..........that was his pet name for me when we were dating....'



"Why didn't you defend yourself or tell me this when I found out? It made me think that you were guilty!" I shot

".........I thought that since you have so much trust in me, you would already believe me when I said that it was unintentional."

"But still......" Come on tears, DON'T COME NOW!

"Hey, hey.........." He wiped the first few tears that came out of my eyes

"Just.......tell me why you didn't pull away........."

He let out a bitter laugh and looked at the night sky "You really don't believe me do you?"

"It's not that I~" He put one of his fingers on my mouth, stopping me from talking. He leaned in and whispered,


 

                         "COUNT TO TEN. MAYBE THIS WILL REMIND YOU WHY YOU CHOSE TO HAVE TRUST IN ME."
 

Just then, there were louds sounds coming from the nearby park, and..........FIREWORKS? Wait, I know where this is going......I know why Yoochun brought me here...........

Different colored streams of fireworks were being launched up in the sky and I couldn't help but admire the amazing sight in front of me.

 

I turned to face him and said, "This is....."

"Yes, Yeon-ah............this was what we did on our first anniversary." He flashed me his famous killer smile and then turned back to face the fireworks



The night of our first anniversary, Yoochun took me to a festival in his hometown. He showed me around during the afternoon, taking me to the different booths that were there. There were many food booths, game booths, and even a horror house, and a MARRIAGE BOOTH.

"Yeon-ah~" Chun said as I was eating my ice cream

"Mmmmm?"

"Do you............maybe, want to.....................go THERE?" He said as he pointed to the marriage booth


I gulped down the large piece of ice cream in my mouth before looking at him with wide eyes...........A MARRIAGE BOOTH?

 

"I g-guess-s it's ok-ka-ay, oppa...." My cheeks are getting red hot right now!!!

"Really? I mean, I'm not forcing you to go, you know." He knew his persuasive-slash-reassuring smile can make me say yes to anything........How does he do that??


So, we went to the marriage booth, and we could see other couples lining up to have their "marriage certificates", couple rings, and picture taken. When we were the ones signing up, I admit I was embarassed to be here..............even if Chun and I have already been together for a year now....
 

The girl at the booth took our forms and I saw her face light up when she looked at our papers "You both have the last name, Park, is that true?"

"Ne....." We both reply

"Omo! This is the first time we've had a couple here with the same last name!" Wow, she looks like an over-excited fangirl right now....:)))) "I predict you guys are going to be together for a LONG TIME!" She gave us both a wink. We just smiled at her and blushed at what she said to both of us...
 

As we were about to pay for our couple (or should i say "wedding") rings, the same girl came up to us and told us that we didn't have to pay for them. She said it was free for us.......the PARKS. I guess I've never given much thought on my and Chun's last name............what if the girl was right? I do hope Chun oppa and I have a great and long relationship!



A few minutes later, we entered the horror house at the far end of the festival grounds. I was hesitant to go in at first, but with Chun oppa holding my hand, I knew I'd be safe with him and that I wouldn't get scared too much...............................................I WAS WRONG.
 

You know how some people can stand seeing scary stuff? I WAS NOT ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE.
 

Everytime I would hear a whispering or creaking sound, my hand would automatically find its way towards Chun oppa's arm. I would ocassionally see him smiling, and when I would catch him, both of us would blush in return.



It was almost midnight when Chun oppa dragged me to the big open field.....


"Oppa, what are we doing here?" I asked

"We're going to watch the fireworks, yeobo~" He grabbed my hand gently and shot me a smile, and I did the same

In just under a minute, the fireworks display was already happening. There were red, blue, yellow, green, purple, and white fireworks being shot into the air. Many people were watching, so it was a little crowded where we were. The whole time, my mouth was open because from where I was, we never had festivals like these at all, and I was really happy that Chun oppa brought me here....................................He always knew how to make me happy...
 

As we were watching, Chun put both of his hands on my shoulders and turned me to face him. He gave me a tight hug which caused me to be surprised and blush immediately. He then held my face in his hands and said,

 

"Park Yeonra, remember this day........the day when we spent our first anniversary together as a couple. I promise you that in the future, I'll never leave you or do anything that will tear us apart. I'm always here if you need me, arasso?" He gave me light kisses, first on my forehead, then on my nose, and lastly on my lips. I couldn't help but get teary-eyed when he was doing this.............I FEEL LIKE HE REALLY IS THE ONE I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR.





                                                                              END FLASHBACK




 

And now, we're back to reality.


Seeing the fireworks this time around didn't seem to make much of a difference for me, except maybe the setting and the fact that Yoochun and I are no longer together.


He did the EXACT same thing he did to me tonight.....the "hands on my cheeks" thing. I felt like there was going to be a little speech coming right about now...

 

"Park Yeonra, I'm asking you right now to accept my honest and sicere apologies for everything I've done. I know I've been a complete idiot for not putting as much effort as I could in getting you back. Now I have realized that the right thing to do is for me to keep fighting for you. I promise I will be a better person, and that the "Yoochun" you have come to love will always be here. Yeon-ah................will you take me back?"
 

I told you there would be a speech.....................wait...............................DID HE JUST ASK ME TO TAKE HIM BACK???

THIS CHAPTER WAS SUPPOSED TO BE LONGER, BUT WE DECIDED TO CUT THE DRAMA AND RESERVE SOME FOR THE NEXT AND FUTURE CHAPTERS. :]
