You and I...Plus Her
Your Loss Is My GainMinwoo's POV:
I arrived at the park as EunJi instructed, but where is she? I sat down on the cold bench waiting for her. If she's coming with L.Joe there won't be a smile on my face. Countless minutes have passed and there was still no sign of EunJi. Maybe I should call her, just in case she's lost or something. Before I could dial a number a pair of warm hands covered my eyes. "Guess who?" a sweet voice asked.
"What take you so long to come here?" I questioned holding her hands which were now resting on my shoulders.
"I dropped by your house to see if you had a pair of skates. A lot of people come here during the winter to ice skate. I thought it'd be fun to do the same."
"Did you found them?"
"Yup, your sister helped me. She's really pretty. I guess looks runs in the No family doesn't it?" she lightly laughed. "Come on, let's put on our skates so we can go on the ice quicker. Hey, do you think it can break since there are so many people on it?"
"I'll dive in the freezing water just to save you then." I beamed. She returned the smile. "Would you do the same for me?"
"Hmm..." she looked up at the sky, pretending to ponder about the topic.
"Yah!"
"I'm just kidding. Of course I'd do the same. Life wouldn't be the same without you. I'd miss you too much." my mouth twisted in weird positions and my cheeks started to flush more. 'She'd miss me too much' I happily thought. "I'm sure Bora unnie would feel the same way. She might be missing you even more than I ever could."
"...Bora noona...what does she have to do with anything?" I blinked multiple times. What is she talking about?
"Don't pretend you don't know. You're not that innocent now are you Mr. No." she gave me a wink, "You're so popular with the ladies, including noonas."
"What...?" I repeated. I'm still not following what she's trying to tell me.
"Never mind." she sang. "Let's go skating now!" she waddled to the ice trying to balance herself on the thin blades. I chuckled to myself at how cute she was. I just wanted to rush behind her and embrace her.
"Whoa." I said once I was on the ice.
"Be careful, ice is pretty slippery." she warned after I almost slipped.
"You could have told me before I almost fell." I stuck my tongue out. She just rolled her eyes with a goofy smile and skated away. I tried to follow her, but I felt like I was going to fall every time. It has been almost a year since I last roamed around on the ice. I wasn't the best back then either. "EunJi-ah." I pouted when she passed by.
"Hold my hand. We'll skate together." she held out her small hands with a warm smile. It was a bit embarrassing I had to hold her hand
