Deity

The Darkness has been alone as long as she can remember.

Until one moment in the eons she had existed, something other than herself began to form. She did not have the words to describe it, only, it was blinding. Her whole being needed to be shielded from the intense power of whatever was manifesting in front of her.

Then, she wasn’t alone anymore.

A bright creature stands mere inches away from her. It was making a sound comparable to nothing that the Darkness had ever heard before. But, she recognized the melody, it was the hymn she had heard when she had first set foot in the universe.
