CHAPTER 9:
Mark was nervous like really nervous. He was walking up and down inside his workplace. Replaying his dating plan again and again! He wanted everything to work out just fine.

It was 6:55 when Mina came and he saw her from inside. His heart was going to explode and he was sweating like crazy.

He gulped down as much water as possible.

Okay Mark this is it. Man up and go outside to meet your girl now! He cheered for him shelf.

He grabbed his Jacket and walked outside.

Thump-thump-thump.

She turned around. He froze.

She was beautiful

His heart exploded

Mina’s Pov:

She was waiting outside of his work place.

7:00 o’clock

 She tried to not seem nervous. Her cheeks were on fire and she tried to calm her heart down. She heard the door opening next to her and she looked toward that direction.

Bad decision

Mark was standing there with his bad boy, kind of, outfit his hair was styled and he looked so damn cool. That made her heart to explode inside her chest.

They stood frozen and tried to calm down.

He walked toward her. The crazy thumping came back.

“Hey, you came!” Mark greeted her calmly.

“Of course and I would come.” Mina answered shyly.

Mark came even closer and bended at her height and inspected her from up to down. “You wore warm clothes nice!” He said softly like reassuring him shelf that she wouldn’t get cold. Mina looked at him still on daze.

“Shall we go then?” He asked while looking at her.

“Yes.” She nodded her head.

He walked a bit ahead of her and turned his head toward her direction.

“You look beautiful.” He said coolly.

Mina was taken aback. She felt her cheeks go red.

“Thank you” That was her only reply and she hid her face on her scarf.

They went to the bus stop and waited.

“Where are we going?” She couldn’t help, but ask.

He looked at her with a playful smirk.

“Secret” He said with a finger in his mouth and turned away his face.

Mina pouted. But this made her more excited. That means he is leading the way today.

The bus came and they boarded in. They found a place at the very far of the bus and sat down.

The whole trip to the unknown destination made everything all the more thrilling.

After three stops and 6 minutes (all counted by Mina) they finally stood outside of the cinema.

She looked at him with a smile.

“We are watching a movie? Omo I love movies!” She giggled.

 Mark smiled pleased with the fact that she liked it.

“Shall we?” He gestured toward the cinema with an extended hand that soon was taken by Mina.

They both flashed.

“We can go now!” She added shyly, which Mark found adorable.

They went to the cashier to pay for their tickets for the movie “Quick” The movie was a comedy. It was perfect. Not scary movie, not some boring romantic movie just some action, comedy like movie!  (A/N: It’s a Korean action/comedy guys watch it, it’s hilarious).

 After they paid for they tickets, they bought pop corn too and went to find sits. They sat somewhere in the middle.

Not too many people around, just perfect!

Mark sneakily had put a hand around Mina and brought her closer to his body. Even though Mina was praying the whole time for Mark to do something like this either hold her hand or this, she couldn’t help but feel bothered of something. Since she was waiting for Mark at his workplace she felt pairs of eyes on her, like someone was watching her.

Mark gave her a small squeeze that got her out of her thoughts. She was happy that Mark was leading the way and she was happy that Mark had put an arm around her.

Judging from Mark’s smile, the soon to be couple was really happy.
 

Mark’s Pov:

Even though he was happy he was together with Mina he couldn’t help but feel like he was watched.

He felt many pair of eyes on them following their every move.

Like right now, he was watching the movie and was thinking many ways of how to put his arm around Mina.

While he was thinking some whispers made him to turn around. He saw some faces he found familiar, but couldn’t put his finger on it, because they were wearing masks. Mina didn’t seem bothered though and Mark decided to brush it off maybe it was nothing.

Later thought he heard a boy saying something between the lines cute and beautiful and he understood that those compliments were for Mina, since she was the only girl who was sitting closer to those people. He became furious and it was his chance to put his arm around her.  

Smooth he reminded him shelf.

 He brought her closer even. He heard an ‘Awww’ and tried to brush it off.

When he thought that everything was fine, he was wrong. He felt chills going down his body. Someone was watching them he was sure of that.

They stayed like this until the end of the movie. His arms around her, and her snuggled against his body. Just perfect.

By now the awkward atmosphere was replaced with laughter and a lot of chit-chat.  

The creepy stares were long forgotten and by now they were standing outside of the cinema.

“Okay Mr. Planner! What is next?” she asked enthusiastically.

“Mr. Planner’s next move is walk on the Han river.” He announced cheerfully.

Mina squealed. She loved how Mark had everything planned out for them.

“Let’s go” This time he took her hand into his hands. They fitted perfectly. Mina blushed even harder.

They took the bus to the Han River. The view was breathtaking and they both loved it. With their hands together they walked with big smiles and flashed cheeks.

“Did you like the movie?” Mark asked conscious of her answer.

“I loved it” Mina’s truthful answer came. Mark was relieved.

“Mina what do you like to eat the most?” Mark asked to see which of the restaurants he picked was the best option.

“Um let’s see.” He heard Mina’s voice. “I love Tteokbokki, but I have an undying love for pizza! If I have to choose between the two, of course I would choose pizza! She said with a big smile.

Mark’s happy smile was fading. Did she say Pizza?

Oh no, he couldn’t stand pizza. Not after working for so long as the delivery boy of a pizza industry!

Mina felt his discomfort. “Why you don’t like pizza?” She asked innocently.

Mark saw how her eyes became bigger and he couldn’t break her heart.

“It’s not like I don’t like it, it’s more like I’ve seen and smelled enough pizzas since working in a pizza industry.

Mina’s mouth formed a small ‘o’. They couldn’t have the same tastes in everything.

They walked for a bit like that. Hands intertwined.

Mark loved the feeling. He couldn’t wait until he was going to confess. Nervous wasn’t even the correct word, he felt scared of her reaction and answer.

He felt shaking from his hand that was holding Mina’s hands. He looked toward her direction with a confused face.

“Look” Was what Mina said with her hand pointing at some direction.
