5 years later

Today was just as hectic as always. Chohee stretched her hurt back then walked to the door to put the closed sign as there was no sign for another patient. She turned around and found a little girl sat at the bench near the examination room. She walked to her and squatted at her level.

“ Annyeong… why are you alone? ”.

“ I’m waiting for grandma. She was inside being examination by dr. Jung. Grandma said her knee was really hurt ” she answered in one breathe.

She couldn’t help but laughed at how cute and smart this little girl. She remained her of a certain someone.

“ Why grandma takes so long ” the little girl looked bored.

“ Do you like baby? ”.

“ I really really like it? Why? Auntie has a baby? ”.

“ Come with me ”.

Chohee took the little girl to a room next to examination room. She opened the door slightly and peeked inside. Chohee turned to the little girl then gave her a sign to keep it down. The little girl nodded in enthusiasm then walked behind Chohee. The little girl beamed as she saw the baby slept inside the baby box.

“ Taehee-yah… Eomma bring you a friend ”

“ She is really small and cute… may I touch her fingers a little? ”.

“ Sure… ” Chohee chuckled.

“ Eunbi-yah… where are ”.

The little girl who named Eunbi turned around when her name being called. Eunbi looked at baby Taehee then at Chohee. She obviously didn’t want to leave yet.

“ Your grandma is looking for you, Eunbi-yah ”.

“ Aunty… is it okay if I come again tomorrow? ”.

“ Sure…  ”.

Chohee took Eunbi’s hand and walked her to her grandmother then left the clinic. Chohee kept on staring in distance though Eunbi and her grandmother were already out of her sight. Taekwoon got out from the examination room while putting his stethoscope inside his white coat. His eyes found Chohee and he couldn’t help but smile. Her presence only made him happy. He sneaked his arms around her waist then rested his chin on her shoulder.

“ Yeobo… what are you looking at? ”.

“ Nothing…  I always have this weird feeling every time the last patient left. It was hectic but suddenly become empty and quiet ”.

“ That’s why I want to make a lot of babies so you won’t feel lonely like this ” Taekwoon said then playfully bite her shoulder.

“ 3 Oppa you’ve promised ”.

“ Did I? ”.

“ I knew it. I should’ve made a contract and make you sign it ”.

“ Just kidding baby. Just tell me if you change your mind ” Taekwoon said then caressed her tummy gently then kissed her lips.

They broke the kiss when they heard scream and laugh from distance. They knew already the one who caused this commotion.

“ Omma… Appa…. I’m home… ” the 5 years old Jaeha ran toward their parents in excitement.

“ Slow down Jaeha-yah, you’ll fall and hurt yourself ” Chohee shout.

“ He is a boy, yeobo. It’s fine to fall and get few scratches ” Taekwoon shrugged.

Jaeha was ready to jump onto Chohee’s arms but Taekwoon got on his way and picked him up instead. Jaeha wriggled to get down but Taekwoon held him still.

“ Appa… put me down, I want Omma to carry me ”.

“ Andwae…. ”.

“ Appa…. ”.

Taekwoon put Jaeha down and held his shoulders then looked straightly into his son’s eyes.

“ Jung Jaeha listen to what I said. From today you’re not allow to ask Omma to carry you ”.

“ Why? ”.

“ Because…. ”.

“ Because you’ll have another sibling ” a voice whisper on Taekwoon’s ear intimately.

“ Aish… you’re disgusting ” Taekwoon brushed his ear in annoyance.

The culprit chuckled at how annoyed Taekwoon was. Though it was childish, he was beyond satisfied to be able to annoy Jung Taekwoon.

“ Jinja?? Will I get a younger brother this time?” Jaeha asked in excitement.

“ Why? Will you hate it if you get another younger sister? ” Taekwoon asked him.

“ No… I like it too ” he giggled in excitement.

All of them laughed at how cute Jaeha was. Chohee smiled happily at the surprise visit. She came and hugged Sunhwa. Chohee turned her head to look at Hakyeon then both of them exchanged a warm smile.

“ Annyeonghaseyo Chohee imo ” Suwon said then bowed politely.

“ Suwon-ah… it’s been a long time. Look at you... you’ve become a beautiful young lady now. You must be popular among boys in your school ” Chohee said then hugged her tightly.

Suwon just giggled at Chohee’s words. Chohee released Suwon from her arms then looked at her closely. It was true; Suwon grew into a beautiful young lady. As she grew older, she resembled Taekwoon more and more. She just looked like the female mini version of him.

Suwon slowly made her way to Taekwoon who just stood behind Chohee since he didn’t know what to do. The almighty Jung Taekwoon always find himself awkward around Suwon. She shyly approached him and rounded her small hands around Taekwoon slender waist.

“ Taekwoon samcheon… bogoshipeo ”.

Sunhwa and Taekwoon decided for not telling Suwon who was her biological father for her own sake. Both Chohee and Hakyeon didn’t question their decision. They believe their decision was the best for Suwon. Once in a while, Hakyeon and Sunhwa would take Suwon to Jeju to meet Taekwoon.

Since the first time Suwon met Taekwoon, she grew attached to him. You can hide the truth, but you can hide the bond between a father and daughter. Taekwoon smiled gently at her then caressed her hair gently. Both Chohee and Sunhwa couldn’t help but cried quietly at the warm scene before their eyes.

Sunhwa was setting the dining table with the help of Suwon and Jaeha. Chohee was going to help but Sunhwa insisted to make her rest while feeding Taehee. Meanwhile Taekwoon and Hakyeon grilled the meat outside. They were no longer awkward around each other. Hakyeon always the one who was talking whereas Taekwoon just listened and said a few words if needed, just like the old days back in college.

Suwon… she is really famous among boys in her school. But don’t worry I teach her how to be careful around handsome but quiet boys, they tend to be dangerous. Just like her father ” he whispered the last part.

Taekwoon glared murderously made Hakyeon shuted his mouth tightly.

“ Still grumpy as always, huh ” Hakyeon said caused the both of them laughed.

“ Hakyeon-ah…. Though I never say it before, you know right how grateful I am to you for taking a good care of my daughter ”.

“ She is my daughter too… Though she wasn’t my biological daughter … she is still my daughter at least by law. She even has my first name ” Hakyeon said proudly.

He was really grateful to this man for taking care of Suwon and not to mention Sunhwa too. He was too carried away and didn’t realize that he was hugging Hakyeon, tight. Taekwoon quickly released Hakyeon who looked taken aback just like him.

“ Man this is awkward ” Taekwoon mumbled in embarrassment then both of them laughed again.

“ I’ve been thinking about this and finally I decide we can walk Suwon together on aisle on her wedding day, both of us ” Hakyeon said.

“ Why? ”.

“ What do you mean by ‘why’? ”.

“ I’m her father, of course I’ll be the only one and only to walk her on aisle ”.

Hakyeon just scoffed then looked at Taekwoon in disbelief.

“ Excuse me Jung Taekwoon-sshi… I’m her father. Should I show you her birthday certificate to proof that I’m her father ”.

“ That means nothing if we take DNA test, blood never lies ”.

“ YA JUNG TAEKWOON!! ”.

Chohee and Sunhwa laughed at the sight of Taekwoon and Hakyeon who were bickering outside. They love and hate relationship just never changed. Chohee stared at the wedding invitation which Sunhwa brought today. She still couldn’t believe her eyes.

“ Just accept it you just lost your loyal admirer ” Sunhwa laughed.

“ This is just… wow ”.

“ I can’t believe it too that this brat is finally getting married. It seems like yesterday when I change his diaper ”.

“ And on top of that, he is getting married to Jung Jessica. That gizibe is really got a jackpot ” .

“ Why… Did you regret for dumping my rich younger brother? ”.

“ I don’t. That’s why I feel bad for him. Even if I can turn back the time, I’ll still choose Taekwoon Oppa  ”.

Taekwoon suddenly appeared behind Chohee and kissed her cheek then set the already cooked meat and the table like nothing happens. Chohee couldn’t help but blush madly. Hakyeon, Sunhwa and Taekwoon couldn’t help but laughed at how cute Chohee was. Sunhwa poured drink in all of their glasses and lifted her glass followed by the rest of them.

Finally after a long long time I can finished this story. Yeay..... Sorry for taking so much time to finish this story. I've been busy with my own life so yeah.... anyway I'm happy I can finally finish this story. After a long hiatus, I finally find my will to write again and maybe I will start a new story soon. I'm thinking of writing an angst fan fiction which is my favorite genre and really suit my mood lately. And it's based on my own story with some fictional to suit the storyline.
