Chohee was switching off her computer when she heard someone knocked her door lightly. She lifted her head and found Taekwoon was standing in front of the door with a gentle smile on his face. He was effortlessly handsome.

" Ready to go home? ".

Chohee nodded continuously like obedient puppy. She walked toward him then rounded her arms around his. They were talking about whether they should grabbed something to eat before went home. Taekwoon suddenly halted his steps. Chohee just stared at him confusedly then looked at her front. Hyuk was staring at Taekwoon emotionlessly. He then shifted his gaze at Chohee with the same gaze but she could sense a hint of sadness in there.

" Oppa can I talk to him for a sec? ".

" Okay ".

" Alone ".

" No.. ".

" Oppa... " she whined while shaking his arm.

" Then kiss me ".

" W...what? ".

" I won't let you talk to him alone unless you kiss me ".

" But... " he planted a kiss on her lips forcefully before she could say anything.

" I'll wait at car " Taekwoon ruffled her hair then left.

Chohee just sighed. She wanted to talk to Hyuk to clear everything and apologize but Taekwoon just made everything more complicated and awkward. She tried to compose herself then approached Hyuk while smiling awkwardly.

" Hi.... ".

Hyuk just stared at her for a while before smiling back at her. Though he was smiling, his eyes were showing the opposite. It looks somehow sad and tired.

" So you make up with him? ".

Chohee just pressed her lips thinly then nodded. He became quiet again then smiled forcefully at her.

" I heard that you were looking for me ".

" I want to apologize about last night. I'm sorry, I couldn't keep my promise to you ".

" It's fine, we can go next time... or maybe not " he whispered the last sentence.

Suddenly Chohee's phone was vibrating. An incoming call from Taekwoon. Gosh this guy....

" You can go, he must be waiting for you ".

" Then I will leave first, see you tomorrow ".

Before she took further steps, Hyuk pulled her backward and gave her a tight back hug. She tried to pry his arms but the much taller guy tightened his arms.

" Hyuk-sshi... ".

" Please just a moment.... After this I want bother you anymore. I swear ".

Chohee opened the door of Taekwoon's car and got in. She remained quiet for a while. The image of desperate Hyuk really broke her heart. She glanced at Taekwoon and found him stared at her intensely. She suddenly remembered Taekwoon called her after leaving her for only a few minutes. Not to mention he even kissed her in front of Hyuk.

" That was childish Jung Taekwoon. You shouldn't kiss me in front of him ".

" Why? ".

" Why? You know how he feels about me right? ".

" I do. That's why I was helping you drawing the line. You know you can be with him yet you didn't tell him ".

" I'm just waiting for the right time ".

" And when is the right time? ".

Chohee opened but nothing came out from . She just hung her head low and played with the fabric of her skirt. When is exactly the right time?

“ Honestly I don’t know when is the right time. I just don’t want to hurt him ”.

“ Not telling him how you feel about him sooner will hurt him more, Chohee-yah “.

Chohee turned her head to face Taekwoon. Her lips were pouted and her eyes were twinkling from the fresh formed tears. Taekwoon just sighed then pulled her into his broad chest. She sobbed loudly as soon as his warmness embraced her.

“ You shouldn’t cry, you’re the one who broke someone’s heart ”.

Taekwoon tried to suppress his laugh. She looked really cute when she sobbed like that. He suddenly remembered the day he was drunk and accidentally sleepover at her place. She cried too when he told her about Sunhwa for the first time. She is indeed a cry-baby.

 “ I don’t know that breaking someone’s heart will hurt this bad. I wonder how Hyuk Oppa feels right now. Poor Hyuk Oppa….  ”.

“ Ssh… Okay it’s enough stop crying. It’s annoying seeing you shed tears for another guy ”.

“ Oppa…. ” Chohee whined and sobbed louder.

“ Arasso…. Just cry all you want ” Taekwoon sighed then patted her back to calm her down.

Chohee was sorting some of documents when someone knocked on her door. She turned around and found a pretty foreign intern in front of her office. Chohee nodded to her to give her permission to come in. She didn’t know there was foreign intern in here and she found it interesting.

“ Can I help you? ” Chohee asked in English.

“ I need to ask dr. Cha’s signature for these medical records ” she replied in a fluently in Korean.

“ Oooo… you speak Korean really well ” Chohee beamed.

“ I am indeed Korean. Half. Jeon Somi imnida ” she introduced herself.

“ Ah jinjja? Jeosonghaeyo. Jung Chohee imnida ”.

“ It’s okay, Chohee-sshi ” .

“ Just leave the documents here.. I’ll inform you later if dr. Cha already signed it ”.

Chohee glanced at the medical records and found it from the ward where Hyuk was being assigned. Hyuk was the one who always asked for Hakyeon’s signed. She wondered why he didn’t come here himself. Did he avoid her? Somi bowed at her then left.

“ Wait dr. Jeon Somi…. ”.

“ Neh? ”.

“ Where is dr. Han Sanghyuk… It’s not like I’m looking for him… I mean ”.

“ Sanghyuk-sshi is sick today that’s why I’m in charge ”.

Somi bowed once more then left. Chohee sighed. She couldn’t help but felt bad for Hyuk. Chohee was in deep thought so she didn’t realize Taekwoon was already in front of her door to pick her up.

“ What now? ” Taekwoon’s voice snapped Chohee from her deep thought.

“ Oppa… Hyuk Oppa is sick. Can I visit him? ”.

“ Andwae ”.

“ Oppa~~ ”.

“ He is a doctor, he can take care of himself when he is sick ”.

“ At least I can bring him some fruits or maybe porridge for him ”.

“ He has so many maids in his mansion to take care of him ”.

“ I just want to see him… I want to make sure he is alright ”.

“ He won’t die just because of a mere broken heart ”.

“ Meanie ”.

“ Come on I’ll take you home. Do you want to eat first? ”.

“ It’s okay I’m not hungry ” she pouted.

Now is Taekwoon’s turn to sigh. He knew she would stay mad at him if he didn’t let her visit Hyuk. He got an idea.

“ You just want to see him right ? ”.

Later in front of Hyuk’s condo.

“ Ige mwoya~~~ ” Chohee whined inside of Taekwoon’s car.

Taekwoon parked his car across the street in front of Hyuk’s mansion. His left hand carried a basket full of fruits whereas his other hand was pressing the bell. Taekwoon turned to Chohee while waiting the gate of Hyuk’s house being opened. Chohee bounced at her seat desperately hoping Taekwoon would let her out from the car. Taekwoon just shook his head and mouthed ‘stay’ at her.

Taekwoon’s attention back to the gate in front of him when he heard someone opened it. He found Hyuk opened it himself. Chohee watched the two of them met. They somehow engaged in a very serious conversation. She was trying to figure out what they were talking but failed. Hyuk glanced at her and smiled briefly then left. Taekwoon jogged back to his car and get inside. He hummed happily then started the car.

“ You said you just want to see him right? You’ve practically seen him…. from car “ he mumbled the last part.

“ Okay you won. At least I know he’s alright ”.

“ Now… let’s eat, I’m starving ”.

“ What were you talking about with Hyuk Oppa? ”.

“ Secret ” he smirked playfully at her.

Taekwoon was watching Chohee finished the last slice of pizza with a fatherly smile on his face. He couldn’t believe this tiny lady has such a big appetite.

“ I thought you said you didn’t hungry ” he chuckled.

“ That’s because you order a lot but barely touch them all ”.

“ You want to eat the dessert now? ”.

Chohee nodded like an obedient puppy which made Taekwoon laughed. Taekwoon nodded to the waiter to serve the dessert. Chohee couldn’t help but swoon at his small gesture. My boyfriend is really cool.

“ Have you ever been to Jeju? ”.

“ I barely leave Seoul. Gapyeong is the furthest I ever visit. I’m fine staying in Seoul. Everything I need is here… Oppa too is here ”.

They both laughed heartily at her cheesy words. Taekwoon’s face suddenly became serious again. Chohee somehow felt nervous and uneasy.

“ And what if ‘Oppa’ is not in Seoul anymore? ” Taekwoon asked out of the blue.

“ What are you talking about Oppa? What do you mean you’re not in Seoul anymore? Where are you going? Wait…. Are you going to study abroad and break up with me? ”.

“ Relax…I won’t break up with you. I’ve never told you before but the only things I know about my parents are they used to live in Udo. It’s a small Island near Jeju Island. It’s really beautiful there… and peaceful. I remember the first time I visited Udo. Though it just my first time being there, it was somehow familiar and warm. Since then I’ve been there so many times. I’ve decided to move there someday and open my own clinic. I’ve been saving a lot these past years to realize my dream. When I get enough money, I will retire from Hospital. And I think finally I have enough savings and I’ve found a perfect land too “.

Taekwoon laughed at Chohee then caressed her cheeks to wipe her tears away. Chohee just laughed in embarrassment then wiped her own tears. He took her hand and caressed it gently to calm her down. Suddenly the waiter came to them with a tray of their dessert. She tried to pull her hand since she was too shy but Taekwoon held her hand still.

“ Oppa~ ” she whined to make Taekwoon let go of her hand but he just smiled.

The waiter smiled at Chohee then placed her order in front of her then left. Her eyes widened at the sight of it. Instead of a dessert, she saw a box with a ring in it. She looked at Taekwoon in disbelief.

“ The reason why I’m telling you this because I want you to go with me to Udo. Jung Chohee, would you marry me? ”.

Hyuk sighed at the sight of a basketfull of fruits that Taekwoon gave to him earlier. The things he had said earlier replayed in his mind. He couldn't help but laughed in irony.

[Flashback]

Hyuk opened the gate of his mansion in annoyance. Taekwoon must be in a good mood. He even had that rare smile on his face. Taekwoon shoved the basket of fruit on Hyuk made him frown at how heavy it was.

" What's this " Hyuk groaned.

" Fruits, can't you tell? ".

" I know... I mean why are you giving these ".

" It's from my girlfriend not me, I just deliver it ".

" It's from Chohee? Where is she? " Hyuk couldn't help but turn around to look for her.

" I'm going to propose Chohee ".

" WHAT?! You.... you can't be serious ".

" I meant it. I really love her that's why I'm going to marry her. The reason why I'm here is I'm giving you a chance. If you love her as much as I do I'll let you propose her first. I'll back off if she says yes. But if you're just planning on dating then breaking up with her.... Don't even think about it. Propose her or forget her ".

Hyuk just scoffed at Taekwoon's wicked way to make him gave up on her. The answer was absolute. Even if he proposed her, he knew Chohee would turned him down since she loved Taekwoon.

" As expected, commitment must be too much for a kid like you ".

[End of Flashback]

" Aish... so annoying " Hyuk kicked the coffee table in annoyance.

Finally I can update this story. Some of you must be wondering you got the update but there's no update. So I've got inspiration to add Hyuk flashback at the end of the chapter the moment I published this chapter. So I decided to edit this chapter. Guess what... next update will be the last chapter. I have mix feeling. I'm glad finally I can see finish this story but on the other side I feel sad too since I really fond this story. I hope you guys like this chapter. Bye~~
