Chohee sat at a bench in front of Hakyeon’s office. She held onto cardboard filled with her stuffs tightly. She tapped her feet on the floor continuously to calm herself. Yes, she decided to transfer to Hakyeon’s. She couldn’t believe she really did it.

[Flashback]

Chohee gathered her courage and told Taekwoon about her decision. Taekwoon just looked at her patiently, waiting for her to say something.

“ I’ve think about it  ”.

“ About what? ”.

“ Your offer to transfer me, I’ve decided it ”.

“ Arasso. I will take care your transfer process. I’ll inform human resource department. They said they have vacancy ” Taekwoon said and wrote something on a paper.

“Actually I have something else in mind ”.

Taekwoon stopped writing in instant and looked at her. He leaned his back to his chair. He didn’t know why he suddenly felt uneasy.

“ Then where do you want to transfer? ”.

“ I will stay at this department.... but as Dr. Cha’s secretary not yours ”.

[End of Flashback]

She gulped nervously as she knocked on his door. She got goosebumps as she heard his voice from inside. Gosh, what I’ve gotten myself into. She took one deep breath before came in.

Though Taekwoon and Hakyeon were from the same department, they didn’t share the same office. Of course as the CEO’s soon to be son in law he surely has special privilege. He had his own office which was a size of a whole department.

When Chohee came in, Hakyeon was signing some papers. She couldn’t help but looked around his office. That was the first time she came here. As expected his office was huge and grand. It was the exact size as her office and Taekwoon, the different was he used it all for himself.

“ Do you like your new office that much, huh? I can’t blame you, I do really have a nice one ”.

“ Neh? Er.... yes ”. Annoying even from the start.

Hakyeon put his pen then folded his arms in front of his chest while observing her like she was an object of his research. She just stood quietly in front of the door of his office. He didn’t even let her in properly. Her arms hurt as well from carrying her heavy cardboard for a long time.

“ I still don’t get it why Taekwoon suddenly sent you here. Are you trying to spy me or something? ”.

Chohee just remained quiet. She had to control herself for not cursing him. She couldn’t get fired on her first day as his secretary.

“ Don’t bother to answer me. I will figure out your intention myself, soon. Since you are my secretary now, I should give you something to do right? Don’t think I will go easy on you since this is your first day ”.

A week has passed since Chohee started became Hakyeon's secretary. He wasn't kidding when he said he wasn't going easy on her on her first day. He made her did a lot of things. It wasn't like Hakyeon bullied her or something. It just because Hakyeon really had a ton of works to finish. She couldn’t imagine how he handled these jobs this whole time. Chohee stopped typing in instant. She had that exact thought on her first day working for Taekwoon. She wondered if he could finish all of his jobs without her.

" Damn " she sighed then massaged her hurt temple.

These past days she tried to occupy her mind busy to keep herself from thinking about him. But her effort seemed useless. Today she couldn't help but started thinking about him. She heard the front door being opened revealed all smiley Hyuk.

" Hyuk-sshi.. ".

" Annyeong Chohee-yah. You didn't have lunch? ".

" I'm not hungry ".

" Still you need to eat something even just a bite. If you keep on skipping meal, you'll get sick ".

" Yes, Dr. Hyuk " she said teasing him.

They both laughed.

" But Chohee-yah, I still didn't understand why you suddenly become Hakyeon hyung's secretary? Did you fight with Taekwoon hyung? Or even break up? ".

Chohee's smile disappeared gradually at the mention of Taekwoon's name. They weren't even officially going out, how can they broke up? Hyuk sensed her changing mood and decided to let his question remained unanswered.

" Whatever your reason was, you've made a good decision. Good job, Chohee-yah " he said then patted her head.

" Stop patting my head like that, I'm not a kid " she said prying his big hand.

" But you're cute like one " he chuckled.

" Stop it, Hyuk-sshi. You're giving me goosebumps ".

" Arasso... arasso, Mian. Chohee-yah, do you remember you still owe me a meal right? ".

" I do, why? ".

" I want to take it today. Remember, you promise to spare me your time no matter what "..

" Did I say it? ".

" You did...!!!! " Hyuk whined causing Chohee to laugh.

" Arasso.... let's go there after work. Is 8 pm okay? ".

" Call ".

" Okay, see you there ".

Chohee just woke from a short nap. She looked at the clock. Still 7 PM, I have plenty times to shower and prepare myself. She grabbed her towel then walked to the bathroom. After washing her face,  she looked at her reflection on the mirror. Her wide forehead, slightly bigger above average nose, her thick lips, chubby cheeks.

" I look really ugly ".

Never did she knew that ugly face made two doctors head over heels. Suddenly she heard someone knocked on the door. She didn't expect a guest though. Or maybe it was Hyuk? This guy... I told him for not picking me up. She opened the door ready to scold Hyuk. Her eyes were widen when she saw the uninvited guest.

Meanwhile, Hyuk finally arrived at chicken feet restaurant that Chohee was referring to. He glanced at the clock. It still an hour before 8. He was so eager to meet her so he ended up arrive way too early. He couldn't help but laughed at himself. Han Sanghyuk, do you really like her that much huh? Yes he admitted it he liked her though he didn't know when he started have feeling for her. Just the thought of her made him smiled again. He couldn't wait to see her.

" Do you want to order first? " the waiter offered him.

" I'll order later, my girlfriend hasn't arrived yet " he couldn't help but laughed in embarassment at the word 'girlfriend'.

" Actually it takes long time to prepare your order. There is a long queue. If you order now, the dish will ready the time your girlfriend arrives. Trust me she will be impressed ".

" Then should I order now " Hyuk smiled widely then looked at the menu.

Chohee was taken a back the moment she opened the door. She regretted herself for not checking who it was first. There he was standing right in front of her. She almost didn't notice him because of the drastic change. His once blond hair now dyed into jetblack. She composed herself from shock. Before he could say anything, Chohee immediately closed her door. Unfortunately she wasn't quick enough. Taekwoon held the door opened using his weigh.

" Chohee-yah, jebal....".

" No, I'm the one who should beg. Please leave me alone, Taekwoon-sshi " she tried to close the door.

" Please don't do this to me, I have no one but you.... Please... Let me in ".

Taekwoon sounded so desperated and helpless. She couldn't help but softened at his plea. Slowly she opened her door to him. Without any warning, Taekwoon hugged her tightly as if his life depended on her, almost knocked her down. She heard him sobbed quietly. Something bad must be happen

" Taekwoon-sshi what happen? ".

It took him sometime to stop sobbing and finally pulled himself from her.  Instead of answering her question, Taekwoon just stood there quietly. His eyes kept on staring at her face while caressing her cheeks.

" Come in, it's cold outside " she said.

She held his hand then lead him to the living room and sat at the comfortable couch. He quickly sat beside her still holding her hand possesively. For a moment he just stared at her small fingers which were intertwined with his long fingers. She just stared at him quietly, waiting for him to open up patiently.

" I met her today " Taekwoon finally said.

" Who ? ".

" Sunhwa... Han Sunhwa

[Flashback]

It has been 10 minutes but Taekwoon and Sunhwa didn't say anything. Taekwoon suddenly called her to meet at a restaurant near their university. Though she didn't know his intention, she still came though. He just sighed then drank the water in front of him. He didn't change at all, still quiet as always.

" Aren't you going to say anything? ".

" .....".

" If so then excuse myself ".

" Wait.... Sunhwa...-sshi " He bited his lip at the foreign feeling of the mention of her name.

" Sunhwa-sshi ???? So you now decide to address me as stranger? " she folded her arms in front of her chest, absolutely offended.

" ..... ".

" Whatever, Jung Taekwoon. After ignoring my phone now you want to see me. What do you want? ".

" I need to confirm everything. Tell me the truth, Han Sunhwa... Did you pregnant when you left me? With my baby? ".

Sunhwa looked taken a back with Taekwoon's question. But she managed to calm herself and smiled innocently.

" I don't know what are you talking about. Whoever your informant must be a l... ".

" It's Hyuk... ".

" That stupid brat.... " she cursed quietly.

" Han Sunhwa look at me.... Look into my eyes. Answer me. Did you pregnant with my baby when you left me? ".

Sunhwa looked straight into the eyes of a man that she once madly in love with. Her eyes became watery at the sight of how sincere he was. She turned her sight from him then sighed.

" It's just a past, Taekwoon-ah ".

" That doesn't answer my question, Han Sunhwa ".

She looked at him once again. She bited her bottom lip hardly not wanting to give him the answer. She sighed once again then opened .

" I did " she said not breaking eye contacts with him.

Taekwoon was running his fingers between his jetblack hair. God. He sighed in frustration. He tried to surpress his urge to kick the table and destroyed the whole restaurant. 

" How long do you plan to hide the truth from me? " .

" I have no plan to tell you ".

" Why??? Do you think I won't take the responsibility? I know when you told me that you were pregnant I might be taken a back. But I swear to God I will take the responsibility. There's no way I will abandon my own flesh ".

" That's the reason I left, Taekwoon-ah ".

" W....what? ".

" I knew you will take the responsibility and I can't let you do that. That's why I left. You just started a new chapter of your life. You are a young doctor with bright future ahead you. Then I found out that I was pregnant. I didn't want me and the baby stood in your way and ruined your dream.... I just can't do that ".

[End of Flashback]

Taekwoon was lied on the couch with his head rest on Chohee's lap. During his long story, she gently caressed his hair to urge him to keep on continuing his story. Taekwoon took something from his pocket then handed it to Chohee. She took a look at it. A picture of a pretty little girl.

" She is my baby girl, her name is 소원 (Sowon) ".

He caressed the picture lovingly then handed it to Chohee. She took the picture from Taekwoon and couldn't help but smiled at how cute she was. No wonder Taekwoon really adored her.

" She is really beautiful, Oppa ".

" She is. Look at her nose, it looks exactly like mine ".

" It is... ".

His smiled gradually disappeared at the thought of her. How she was growing up without a father. She must be wondered where was her father. She was big enough to throw that kind of question to her mother.

" I really like kids. Grew up in orphanage, I'm used being surrounded by kids. Once in a month, I will help Jaehwan to be volunteer to check on kids' health at different orphanage. Though I look intimidating and cold, actually I really good with kids. I treat them the way I wish to be treated by my parents. I secretly wish when I have my own child, I will shower them with love that I never get. I promise won't be like my parents. But look what happen.... I have neglected my own daughter... What makes me different with my parents? ".

She had no words to ease his pain, lightened his burden. Instead of saying something, Chohee caressed his hair to soothe him with a warm and caring touch that worth than a thousand words. He took her hand and snuggled it to his face, stained it with his tears. She leaned down and showered his forehead with kisses to calm him down. He couldn't help but chuckled at her never ending smooches.

" It's ticklish... ".

Chohee mumbled 'sorry' then back away. Taekwoon quickly held the back of her head to make her stayed still. They just stared at each other for a while, took in each other facial features in a slow motion. They just realized how they missed each other so much. Taekwoon pulled Chohee down to claim her lips. A kiss which was more thrilling than their first kiss.

I never felt this happy after an update. Maybe it's because I finish this chapter with a reaaly hard work. Everytime I write a new story, I never have any idea how many chapters that I would write. But when the plot was entering a certain plot, I have this though "this story finally reach its end". This is what I feel now. Phew ....
