You asked me what I had done for you
I could not answer
Not because I did not do nothing
But I did everything

I gave you a part of myself
I knew I could never take back
I gave you my thoughts, my feelings
My secrets, my time

And I could not help but think
How dare you act like
I gave you nothing

And I hated myself because
If I was given another chance
I would still have given you
